Excellent
Overall I love this for our daughter. It has been great for getting her to sleep at night, just have to bounce her a couple of times and she falls asleep, amazing. Not sure about it for a tiny baby, seemed like her head was squishing into her neck when a newborn and being paranoid new parents we kept her in a bassinette till she about 6 weeks old. Also we have a long six month old and she seems to be growing out of it quite fast. Still I would highly recommend even if just for the first six months of being able to sleep while you adjust to h...Read more
aving a new baby and also if you travel alot is great to take overseas so baby always has its own bed. Easy to bounce baby to sleep, doesn't take up much space if you have a small apartment, great to take overseas as has its own travel bag Not particularly attractive design, not sure how long can fit a large babySimilar opinion? Terrible
We had high hopes for the Amby but it really disappointed us. When we put our son in it, his feet always seemed higher than his head no matter where we positioned him. He didnt settle in it at all and the rocking just seemed to annoy him. It was almost impossible to move from room to room as the frame is huge and strangely shaped. The instructions weren't very clear.
Looks comfortable but thats about it
Not clear enough instructions, baby sinks into it too much, doesnt look safe enough to let baby sleep in it at night, really hard to move from room to room

Good
I really loved this, but wanted to get more use out of it. I lent it to my sister inlaw for her nb, would definitely not use for older infants who can roll or are active.
It was so easy!!! No having to get out of bed to rock baby, could just reach, over and give it a little swing to put back to sleep. Bub looked very comfy.
Only got to use for 4 months. When baby starts to move themselves it is very dangerous as the mattress can be pulled up by them and they can roll easily onto sides.

Excellent
Love the hammock! Expensive but we hired one first to make sure it wouldn't be a waste of money to buy one.
My son suffered from colic and reflux. Once in his hammock, he and us, finally got some sleep. He didn't sleep through the night but we were able to get a few hours sleep at a time compared to practically nothing before that. We also ordered the mosquito net, which is great. He slept in the hammock until approx. 7 months when he was able to turn onto his stomach in his sleep. This product was a godsend for us.
The hammock became dangerous in our opinion once our son was able to turn onto his stomach; we were worried about suffocation. We didn't like the optional Amby Baby Jump Jump because it was hard to get our son into it.

Do they come with stand?

Yes it does come with the stand in the standard kit. Amby Baby also sells parts/items separately in case you need replacement or spares. I remember they had a product list sheet you can view on their website.

You're supposed to take the mattress out when they start rolling.
