Excellent
This has been an excellent baby monitor for the reasonable price. I have not had any problems with interference, the sound only activates when there is a definate noise in baby's room. It is also very handy to have temperature readings for the room. The battery lasts throughout the day and we put it back on the charger overnight.
Reasonable price, reliable

Having originally bought a cheaper unit that we found only made noise that was not important (static and white noise) and did not pick up baby noise, we bought one of these from Babies Galore(best baby shop) on a "take it home and try it, bring it back if you don't like it" basis. Having tried it, I can understand their confidence. It works - no noise other than baby. Lots of other features.
Quiet and clear - no backgound noise, white noise or static. Mains power to both baby and parent units. Battery backup in case of blackout. Temperature display. Microphone sensitivity adjustment. Mut button.

This monitor is excellent value for money and while it has short bursts of interference (frustrating at night) it is much better than any other analogue or digital monitor available. The night-light on the baby-room unit is particularly useful for night-feedings/nappy changes. The parent unit has a great display with noise level bars and the temperature, however I find that the display's backlight (even when in 'standby) is quite bright at night, and have resorted to keeping the monitor under my bed (hardly ideal). Overall a great baby monitor....
Read more Noise activated with adjustable sensitivity (which works well!), night light on the baby-room unit, an accurate temperature monitor, very easy to set up and use! Occasional bursts of noise/interference (no matter what channel it's on), the parent-unit light is a bit bright.- 10 reviews

This is a fantastic product by angelcare if you do not want the sensor pads. You can purchase it also for a reasonable price and from internet sites. Would highly recommend it.
Everything!!! This is one of the best items I bought for baby. Adjustable sensitivity of the sound activation mechanism works brilliantly to activate monitor only when baby is crying or throughout if you like. Rechargable batteries on parent unit. Temperature display of baby's room is very useful guide for number of blankets needed. Soft night light is really soft and do...

Would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone. Excellent value for money. Not at all disappointed with purchase. I can sleep easy because I know that I can trust the monitor to work properly which was the main thing as my room is some distance from my baby's.
Love how quite this monitor is and that it is voice activitated. No static noise. Excellent that it has rechargable batteries. Two minute mute is very useful. So easy to setup and use. Works well even if monitor is some distance from cot.
Occasionally it misses initially cries ...

I have tried numerous types of baby monitors and this is by far the best. I got it from Baby Bunting for $129 and it is soooo much better than any other unit that I have had. It is also great value for money. Dont muck around with anything else. This is the one to buy.
NO STATIC NOISE!! Sensitivity control means that it is 100% silent when baby is not making noise. Night light is bright enough to use. Room temp function is handy. Range is really good.

A great monitor, I would recommend buying this to anyone. We almost purchased a different monitor but changed our minds when we saw this one.
This is a great monitor. You can change the sensitivity of the monitor so that it only comes on when your baby makes a noise. This is great for parents with babies who make lots of noises when they sleep, but aren't crying. The night light is also great as its a white light so your baby wont be disturbed while he or she is sleeping, but you can get around the room to feed or change them.
I would have liked the option to purchase an extra handset so that you can leave one in the bedroom constantly and carry one with you during the day.

I have not tried any other monitors but would highly recommend this one to anyone. It was reasonably priced and comes with many features but overall it gives me peace of mind to know that i will hear my baby when needed.
The best feature is that this monitor does not react to every little sound a new baby makes - which allows you to sleep but still ensures you awake when your baby needs you. I love the temperature display and you can also adjust the sensitivity of the monitor which is great!

I'm really glad I bought this baby monitor. My husband's favourite feature is the temperature display (my husband worries about her being in a too cold room so being able to monitor that gives him peace of mind). My favourite feature is the sound sensitivity and visual display - if she's made a noise but has stopped, one bar on the sound level display will still show. So if I wake up in the middle of the night, I just crack one eye open to the monitor, and if it's not lit up with one bar, then it wasn't her making a noise that woke me! (Mostly)...
Read more. I would definitely recommend this monitor. Appearance, sound sensitivity control and display, clarity of transmission, temperature gauge and display, 2min mute button, night light, volume control, being able to have Angelcare quality without having to buy the sensor pads as well, very little static.Find out how Angelcare AC420 compares to other Baby Monitors

My boy is now 10 months old and I have had this monitor for about 9 of those months. I originally had a 2nd hand monitor (Fisher and Price) that someone had given me and it was awful! This monitor is so clear and has next to no interference static or white noise. I love that it has a built in temperature gauge to keep an eye on the babies room temp without having to go and check. The adjustable sensitivity is great - if you are really tired and worried you won't hear the baby turn it right up (or in those first few weeks when you like to make s...
Read moreure the baby is breathing). Although I only used the night light for a few weeks at the beginning (as I then learnt to see in the dark!) I think it is a good feature. Obviously the different frequencies are good - my sisters monitor would pick up all of the next door neighbours cordless phone calls. All in all I would be more than happy to recommend this product. Clear, Reliable, Temperature Feature, Adjustable Sensitivity, Night Light, Different Frequencies, Reasonably Priced Not alot although only a middle of the range item am very happy with it- 86 reviews

Very happy with our purchase. Wish it was slightly cheaper - cost $150, but worth the expense. We use it everyday.
Easy to set up and use. Battery back up for peace of mind. No interference from neighbours' baby monitors or wireless internet. Good range - useful for when outside the house doing gardening etc. Sound activation works well with minimal delay. Can adjust the sensitivity too. Parent's unit is rechargeable and the battery life is adequate (can improve with higher powered batteries). Parent's unit also reads the temperature of the ba...
