Oricom SC875

Love the camera itself, just the battery life of the monitor is useless. The camera itself has to be plugged in at all times but the monitor doesn’t even last all night, had to purchase another cord to be plugged in at all times.

Overall this is a lovely monitor the only downside is that it doesn’t vibrate in VOX mode which is a function we loved in our old Oricom monitor. This is a function we needed to wake my husband and needed to wake a sound sleeping parent.

Great monitor with a good range, good image quality and audio is awesome. Did have a little fall and the camera stopped working - however one call through to customer service and replacement was sent out super quick! Very happy with the service and product when in use.

The reliability and range of this unit is excellent with simple set up and easy to follow instruction. The audio is very clear even little windy wines can be heard, and image quality is fantastic. The customer service is impeccable. Thank you Oricom

We bought this monitor 3 months ago because of the great reviews. One drop from 0.5m and the screen is not working anymore. Pretty average considering the size of the unit and how robust screens tend to be on other devices these days. Other items of note are that the camera viewing angle is very poor. I had to mount it to the opposite corner of the room near the roof just to see the full cot area. That was a suprise. Also, the screen clarity is poor, especially at night time. Very grainy and no where near as clear as other comparible mode...

My friend got me onto the Oricom SC875 and I’m over the moon with my purchase! I had issues with my first monitor (Oricom SC710) and I was hesitant to get another Oricom monitor, but it was the best decision I made. Picture quality is great and love how we can control the camera with the monitor. The sound is clear and it’s easy to use.

Monitor blacks our for random spaces of time. Monitor has poor battery life. Poor night vision compared to other brands. Registers white noise too easily and doesnt turn screen off and stays on all night.

Very reliable product,love it.just buy it,as it becomes part of your life.
Range is great,real value for money.

I finally found an amazing monitor! I love this one so much. It’s my third baby monitor as I’ve not been happy with the previous two I had. The screen size is awesome, the image is so clear that I’m surprised at what I can see, the VOX feature works so well (& has different sensitivity levels). It was super easy to set up and has great range (we are in a single level semi with concrete walls and it works through the whole house and put the front and back verandas). I am happy with the audio and image quality thus far, and it was easy to set up.
I think the touchscreen needs to be more responsive, as we found you need to press the screen quite hard to activate the onscreen buttons. This created difficulty doing it one-handed when the touchpad was standing up on its stand. Instead, you had to pick it up to use it properly.

Moving the camera using the buttons is not as responsive or sensitive as it should be.
I also think the VOX symbol on the HUD should indicate whether the current VOX is low or high frequ...

I have used the Oricom SC875 for 6 years now, it is a durable and high performing monitor that I in no way could fault. The image is clear and it has wonderful features such as music, temperature control and speaker etc The brand along 'Oricom' is reputable and any customer service I have needed has been met with the upmost professionalism and high standard. A reliable monitor, easy to set up and a great investment for your family.

I’m so glad we chose to go with this monitor. The picture is so clear. I absolutely love how it plays white noise and has the temperature gauge as I sometimes struggle in what to dress my baby before putting to sleep. I would highly recommend this monitor if you’re looking for one.
