Not the best deal you can get be ready for unknown fees
The actual gym is okay, (too many people during evening).
The club I was at had like WORST boxing gloves, sweaty as he'll probably never been replaced since gym opened.
Anytime fitness just has too many fees, like joining fee, key fees, cancellation fee, freeze fee, any fee you name it they'll have it.
I really wanna cancell my membership, I have already been on like 8 months freeze, or probably longer, . I just wanna get out of anytime but they keep asking for another 4 weeks of payments saying that they need 4 weeks notice...Read more

Like my account is on 8 weeks freeze still and I have let them know I wanna cancel this membership a few times every time I call for cancellation they will always try to hold back saying I need to pay 4 weeks. And I don't wanna pay for it cause I know I wouldn't be using it Is there anyone who had same issue any suggestions??

Good thing I switched gyms four years after leaving
Avoid at all costs, I have had a really terrible experience going to Anytime Fitness Elizabeth back between 2012 and 2013. This whole thing is actually a scam because they lock people in to contracts, they care more about the $$$$$$$$$$ then peoples health. The best thing about it is cancelling back in February 2014. Now Im currently doing gym sessions at the Aquadome and havent looked back since.

Cash grab
I lost my gym bag a few months ago, searching everywhere I decided to check my local gym, they had my bag with the key tag attached on the outside, I asked why at no point did they scan the tag and let me know. They shrugged it off with no response. I quit the gym and now weeks later they still send me emails about not giving up and they still take money out of me account. No customer service just a cash grab

Sounded great gyms everywhere, but what a joke.
Ridiculous pricing, cramped poorly equipped gym and zero care factor once you sign up.
Had gym memberships most my life and was totally shocked by this sad excuse for a gym chain.
Scam is probably the best word to describe my experience with them.

Absolute SCAM.
Me & my partner did a free trial at (anytime fitness seaford). I Went 2 times in the trial period & thought it wasnt for me So i stopped going. Plus i never signed my contract My partner on the other end sighned hers and and kept on going. As months went past all was well until my partner and I seen our bank statement. Which anytime fitness has been taking out two payment. hing get i had to ask multiple times and send multiple emails and a letters to them). So when i talked to Anytime Fitness after getting my contract Finally. They sead they will stop deducing payments. But a few weeks later i got a letter from a dept collector saying i still owe Anytime Fitness $365 so i sent a letter off to them, now Anytime fitness handballed it to another dept collector. Over the time and even still now ive been seeking legal aid. I did try going to the cop station and asking them but they sead it was a (grey area) so they cant do anything. Over the time ive been getting down about the whole thing just wanting it to stop, Im not too sure whether just too pay or go to court about it. I NEED HELP PLEASE. Btw ( My partner asked multiple time for hers contract as well. So anytime fitness decided to cancel her contract threw a email her contract which they couldnt find)Similar opinion?
