Great laptop for school and not much else.

published

Bought laptop for uni and it ticks all the right boxes. It’s portable, lightweight and looks hip. I’m terms of everyday use it is solidly built and has a premium feel. For this price range you probably could still get a slightly better laptop with gaming functions and better screen. But Battery life is fantastic and definitely is bang for your buck once on sale.

Great laptop

published

This MacBook Air is the first Mac I’ve owned. I was skeptical about switching from a Windows laptop to Apple. I’ve found it fast and easy to use and is also lightweight and thin. The price was a little high but I expected that (as that’s the case with most Apple products). The update to MacOS High Sierra saw me taking it to the Apple store to be fixed but that’s was a very easy and quick experience as they fixed it straight away in store.

Amazing Laptop

published

I think the Mac Book Air 13-inch Is one of the best laptops out there for school or work. it is very reliable and fast for opening up programs and rendering videos. It also has a really long lasting battery life if you use your laptop alot. It is very easy to travel with it as it is very thin in size and it is amazingly light.

Great product

published

Bought this product without ever using it. It is great. Long battery life and clear display. Apple never seems to fail me. Able to use wireless with no issues and it’s very quick to start up each time. Enough storage for all my file and photos and general stuff. Love it.

Best Laptop

published

Best laptop I've ever owned. Fast and reliable. The battery lasts over 10hrs, easily getting me through the whole day. The screen is bright and clear. The keyboard is nice to type on. The trackpad is awesome. Runs the latest macOS. Has two normal USB ports which is super useful.

Very good design and value

published

Bought this Macbook Air 13" on Kogan, for $1229, it's really good value compare with all Windows laptop at similar price range, for the design and quality, it's really competitive.

I feel a bit lack of is screen resolution, in a bit lower range, and a biit heavy, I guess the metal case does make difference... battery life is great, classic silver is great, overall it's a great product from Apple, value for money...

Okay.. But not very great for students

published

Just in my case, my parents bought me an MacBook Air crossing 1100A$. I was happy to have that glowing apple logo to be honest. I later joined my bachelor's of engineering program where I was needed to install Turbo C++ and hence I could not find a real one for my MacOs Sierra. That's rubbish! Even the 2010 laptops can have turbo C++ in them but not the Mac coz it's got another OS hence they have their own Buggy "XCode" as the C++ IDE and is way different than the original one. It's just has its own Syntax. Not worth if you're a student

Great Light Laptop (getting dated)

published

The MacBook Air remains the least expensive MacBook, and has finally received a minor spec upgrade. Battery life is excellent, and performance for everyday tasks remains smooth. It's the only MacBook left with standard USB ports or a MagSafe connection. The design feels dated, with a thick bezel around a low-resolution screen. Windows laptops in the same price range offer newer components, higher-res screens and lighter, slimmer bodies. The MacBook Air lives to fight another day, thanks to its mainstream price and long battery life, but this classic laptop is definitely in its twilight.

Can't go pass a new macbook

published

Apple products never disappoint. This baby is new and I am so smitten :) It looks good, it is light, is easy to use and screen is amazing. My only complaint so far is apparently I cannot use screen cleaner to wipe down the dirty screen as it will damage it. Have found that Moshi makes an Ivisor screen protector which can be cleaned to help delicate screen. The SIri to Mac is a great new feature. Also the battery life is so much better than my 2012 Macbook Air. I bought it on ebay when they had a 15% off discount day so look out for that option to save. Overall, loving it.
