The best laptop I've had
The best laptop I've had. The materials very durable and it is still fast after 5 years.
It is still looks like brand new.
Does everything I do for office work or studies.
The only minus that coating on the screen started wearing out after 4 years, but apple replaced the screen for free.

Rubbish quality and higly unreliable
I bought this MacBook pro around 2.5 years ago and did not use much only a hours a day. The laptop started playing up a week ago and then completely dead. I took it to the apple store, they did check and find out there might be a battery issue,(seriously the battery screwed up in 2.5 years with minimum use) next week I received a call that it has been fixed and I have to pay 7 hundreds DOLLARS.
I said your tech told me that he is going to call me to let me know how much it gonna cost me and without my consent you fixed and charging me 700 plus...Read more

Apple is not cheap but always reliable
I bought this second-hand MacBook pro retina screen in may 2018. as I have really good experience with apple, this laptop never let me disappointed. Thin body and good structural design, it is still one of the best-looking laptops in 2018. Additionally, the performance of the MacBook still remains at a really good level as well as the battery. I would highly recommend to everyone who has been tired of Windows!

Still running very well.
I bought the MacBook Pro 13" with retina display with the 258GB HDD and 8GB RAM in around June 2015, although it's not much, I mainly got it just for university lectures and such and having finished studies, it still works very well and runs quite quickly, I have not had any problems so far considering that this thing is now 3 years old. I don't keep much files because I tend to completely delete files or softwares that I know that I won't be using any longer so the 256GB HDD does not really concern me as everything is on the cloud these days o...Read more
r you can get big TB external hard drives. The quality of this laptop is definitely wonderful, it's solid and very modern and that's what apple holds it's reputation for which is fantastic. The price is definitely quite high compared to other laptops but I feel that it is definitely worth it. The picture quality is perfect, I really am not complaining when I stream my TV shows/movies on the laptop even when the quality is only 720p. I do recommend Macs as they are genuinely good quality. Before this model, I had bought the 2009 model MacBook Pro and that was very strong as well and lasted me a good 5 years and then sold it to someone and they claimed that it went on for another 3 years totalling 8 years of it going so strong! Apple is always a go-to product, the Mac OS is definitely much more user friendly and convenient, I most likely wouldn't go to windows.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Decent Laptop
Decent laptop. Served me well for the past 3 years, so I would say that it has been fairly robust. Only complaint would be that my model was one of the ones that the screen started peeling off. Otherwise, this is a laptop without many issues that runs quite well.

Excelent Wndows 10 Business Machine
My first Apple computer, (1982) had revolutionary software installed VisiCalc, the forerunner to Excel! Over the years I have had Toshiba Tecra's ( early 2000's were great build quality) and Dell Latitudes, and I still have a working Kermit colored Seimens Nixdorf laptop, with a detachable screen you place on top of an overhead projector!!
After considerable research following bad experiences with Dell, HP and Toshiba, I returned to Apple in 2007 and finally replaced my white plastic Mac Book pro with the 2015 aluminum bodied 13'' in April ...Read more
2015. I opted for the 500Gb SSD and used boot-camp to partition the drive and install Windows 10Pro. It has never run IOS in the last two years. Initially had a few minor driver issues with audio&bluetooth which were resolved within an hour, I had not fully read and applied the tech info I had. As far as the product is concerned its just brilliant, reliable, fit for purpose and from previous experience with three other MBP's in the family, they have a life span in excess of 12 years. My daughter uses the old white plastic 13' as her social media centre, I replaced the first HD 4 years ago and upgraded the memory and its still going strong after 17 years!! Key board and screen are about the best you can get, I regularly run a HD external monitor when working on multiple spread sheets, (alas not VisiCalc), stability is something you can easily take for granted, the machine just works, never shuts off, no black screens used an average of 7hrs a day 7 days a week. Its also a testament as to how far Microsoft has progressed, I had a clean install 64bit Win10Pro and its run faultlessly. Improvements? well top of my wish list would be a 13'' MBP with a separate graphics card, I sometimes unwittingly push the on board integrated graphics card to its limit, especially when using two screens with multiple windows running. I am currently looking to upgrade to a 15'' MBP, I have looked at the Dell XPS15, and Microsoft Surface2, afraid from my research I'm unconvinced of the quality and durability, Id rather pay the extra and have no drama's with a platform thats proven and completely reliable.Similar opinion? OK if you're consumer or into writing iOS code
I am an IT Professional. I have tried to buy this laptop to run Windows, and I ended up returning it.
Here's why.
1. There are many keys missing from the keyboard - no Insert, no Delete, no PrtSc, no Break, no Home etc. Too many new stupid combinations for me to learn instead of simple Alt+PrtSc and many others.
2. The bootcamp wireless driver never recognized channel 13 on my 802.11n wifi router. Both MacOS X and other devices worked fine.
3. The screen was too reflective to be used in the office with those long CCFL tubes shining from the...Read more

Great windows lap top
Have used Apple products since 1981, have used Toshiba Tecra's and Dell Inspiron's, ironically the best windows lap top you can buy is the MAcbook Pro, although I will buy the 15" next time to access the dedicated graphics card memory. I run this on bootcamp running Win 10Pro, why? becasue I need to access Sharepont and Microsoft in their wisdom dont have a version to run on OSX. Liks, total reliability, dependable easy to use, in fact windows 10 seems to run better in bootcamp mode on this machine than my colleague who has the Dell XPS. My onl...Read more
y gripe is probobly down to my use, I always drive an external monitor, howver the intel integrated graphics runs out of gutts when I have more than on Excel spread sheet open whilst connected to sharepoint and M/S Dynamics. This machine is now 3 years old, still looks and performs like new, plan to replace it with a 15" this year and retire the 13" to OSX mode running Logic Pro in my studio. Expensive to buy, but in the long run innexpensive to own, reliable and as long as you use it for waht it was designed for, an excellent machine.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

It is discontinued but if you found a new one BUY IT instead of the new versions!
Very light and thin laptop. The battery life is great. It allows me to get my school work done and some light photoshop editing as well with no problem.the Retina display is really high quality. only downside was the apple care, which is too pricy!
I was looking for buying the newest versions of Macbook pro with the touch bar. but turned out the store had only one of the older version of Macbook pro with retina display. Im happy with this purchase.

This is still very good
I have used MBP 2010, 2012 for many years, I feel satisfied with its quality.
Now my employer gave me this 2015 model MBP, it is still very good to use, HDMI post can TB(DP) ports are quite useful.
I am very happy with 2015 model than other latest models, such as 2016 and 17, because of they only have USB type-C.

Aboulute beast
The early 2015 Macbook pro is amazing. Looks good and performs super well under different tasks. Whether it be photo editing or watching YouTube it performs it easily with no lag or noise.
The retina display is quite amazingly clear and super realistic.
The aluminium body around the laptop gives it the luxurious elegant look.
It looks just as good as it performs.
Amazing laptop though a little pricey.

The best laptop I ever have
Simple and elegant model. Best keyboard I ever use compared with other laptops. With backlit keyboard, working at night is more convenient. Display is bright, clear and sharp. Sound is excellent and clear even though the speaker is not located at the front side like other laptops I ever used. With macOS, it is easy to use especially for programming. Highly recommended for daily and specific use.

Super slick speedy laptop
This laptop is super fast and is outstandingly good looking. The only problems I have with it are: It is $200 too expensive and that I have to carry around a USB adaptor to connect anything to it.
The Mac OS is mostly good but there is some quirkiness compared with windows. Therefore latter on I may install Windows to overcome this if the Mac OS doesn't completely grow on me. I've found the integration with iCloud is great.

Horrible user experience
The user interface of this machine for me was virtually unusable. The keyboard was too small to type properly. The track pad takes up too much space. I could not work out how to do simple operations like clicking and scrolling. When I connected a mouse, the scroll wheel was reversed and mouse movements had latency. The version of excel would not run macros. I needed a $100 gadget to connect to anything. Everything was slow. The built in software was hard to understand and non intuitive. The screen was tiny and hard to read anything without eye...Read more
strain. I will be going back to my old windows XP, which the only thing wrong with is it takes 10 minutes to start. Complete waste of $2300 including the gadget. I am putting the MacBook back in the box, and burying it in the back of a cupboard and won't think about it again. Also very bad experience at Harvey Norman who recommended this product, and then tried to sell me extended warranty and security software, Thank goodness I at least I did not waste my money on that.Similar opinion? Been an Apple user! Thumbup for excellent Apple excellent customer service.
Purchased my laptop a while ago. Accidentally dropped it and had to take it to Apple store for repairs. The Apple staff were very helpful in saving my laptop and keeping the cost to a minimum. Just would like to leave a comment to say that Apple Service is still golden after all these years.

I love it! Clear screen, nice soft touchpad, navi pad is awesome (will get better as I know how to use short cuts).
Yes I was a Windows tragic for years, finally changed over and won't look back, this operating program seems easy to use and I have only had the machine for a week! I will say again I love it... and would recommend it to any looking to jump on the Apple laptop bandwagon.

Worth every cent
I upgraded my MacBook Air to the MacBook Pro 13 inch with Retina display in August 2015 and haven't looked back. I use it as my primary computer upwards of fifty hours a week and it's still going strong over twelve months later. The Retina screen makes a significant difference over the course of a long working day; my headaches have reduced considerably. I have not missed the DVD drive at all. The keyboard is tactile and responsive. No components show any sign of wear at this stage.

It is worth ever dollar you spend
Since being converted to Apple products back in 2010, I have never looked back. My MacBook has been my side kick till the start of this year when it got rained on ...that was my bad. Thankfully I was able to get a brand new replacement macbook because of my insurance. If I hadn't damaged my laptop, I think I still would have got a few more decent years out of it.
The best part of this laptop was that it still retained substantial value even with water damage. I couldn't believe someone paid $400 on eBay for it. Goes to show Apple know how to make a reliable and quality product.

valuable and great design
Wonderful computer system. It is quick and easy to use after master all the key feature of the keyboard. Its battery life is long enough to write a long paper work after fully charge and the retina display never get you tired and sleepy, it is bright and comfortable. The OS system is more and more reliable than any versions of WINDOWS. No worries about drivers of display, sound, network etc.
