Sports Bike in Scooter Clothing
Awesome scooter, if you want to call it that. It handles like a sports bike minus the clutch. On the highway it's comfortable and plenty fast, on the twisties it's more like a bike than a scooter. Love all the details on this scooter, quality and finish are excellent. It is very convenient when it comes to storage, under the seat is more like a mini trunk on a car, you can place whatever you need there for your ride.

Looks like a sports bike and has the goods to go with the looks...
I bought this used with 10K on the clock. It handles nicely and is easy to ride, especially with the big fairing up front. A maxi type scooter is perfect for those that don't like changing gears...
Fuel consumption is good but not as good as expected but still beats driving the car to work and back unless it's raining heavily.... It will sit on 100kph easily for long periods and has some extra for overtaking. Up steep hills can be a bit of a struggle with speed reducing to 80-90kph depending on steepness.
The under seat cavity is very la...Read more

Suits my needs perfectly
The SR Max is an ideal city and touring scoot. The reason for it being a nice touring scoot is the large fuel capacity, comfortable seat, great leg room, massive amount of under seat storage and even more with the top box supplied on mine as well as a nice power plant to get you anywhere. I especially like the high riding position and great ground clearance which gives you superior confidence when leaning though tight corners. For me the seating and handle bars provide a nice relaxed riding position with plenty of places on the running board t...Read more
o move your legs around. The two analogue and one digital gauge deliver all the essentials, like trip computer, clock, revs, top speed etc. The engine does it's best work from 80kph to 130kph. I ride 100km every day to and from work mostly on highway with some fairly steep hills. The engine will take on the toughest hills with gusto, It will maintain 100km on the steepest of hills I encounter. But it loves the windy bits best, it holds it lines beautifully and accelerates nicely out of bends. Some reviews say the front brake is a little unresponsive and requires a tight squeeze. I have to agree but after 6k of riding I am used to it. Rear brake when I sue it is fine. The suspension on mine is right for me, firm. I am 100kg and the road I ride on has had some maintenance, sure I feel the patch up work in the tarmac but it is nothing out of the usual, larger humps and bumps can be a little jarring though but it is wearing in still. The livery on this bike is minimalistic yet suits the bike. If i had to say one one bad thing then it would be the use of adhesive stickers. With time they will come off and they will fade. I love the paint work and styling, it certainly is unique but when you look at it you know it is an Aprilia. I would say this bike would suit anyone really. For me doing 500km per week both city and country riding it works in so many ways. It is great on fuel, has the power to get me along the highway at speed. It is not too heavy and easy to manage around the stop start of the city. If you are considering one of these bikes, take it for a test ride and have some fun.Similar opinion? Fantastic little bike
Very zippy around town and sits on 110km/h on the freeway without a problem. Great fuel tank range and can carry a pillion passenger easily. A buzzing noise can be heard coming from the fuel filler cap on hot days which had me wondering but no big issue at all. I love my little sr max and would recommend one to anyone.

ionally well with no problems at all. I took my top box off and strapped my swag, sleeping gear and a bag on to it and hit the highway! Less than $100 premium unleaded each way! Just need to book it in for its 10,000km service and I'll be off again!
