Recipe Change Milk Coffee
Milk Coffee recipe definitely changed, I have been dunking Arnotts Milk Coffee plain biscuits for years, try and soak up coffee in them now. Tasteless rubbish now. Milk Coffee is also much thinner and much tougher. Its goodbye from me :(

is the Answer to profit-"Cheaper to enable sales and enable competitiveness", or is it "QUALITY", i ask
Having just bought in our fortnightly "order", putting the bickies in the bin- the first thing that occurred to me was the little disc representing a ginger-nut bicky...?....! What? Really... ( this compares with the little Malaysian or Indonesian tinies, that I won't name).
It seems to me, just a consumer/layman but I have 6 to 8 Bickies to a cuppa, have to be value and have to have taste.
Have also noted the fall in quality of the "Scotch Fingers", as reviewed by some of your other Customers- I reckon it's the shortening -Lordy don't stop u...

Scotch finger biscuits.
So disappointed in scotch fingers just not the same. Less flavor, no way do they taste how they used to be. The thickness has changed also, they’re now thinner and much less crumbly. What a shame this keeps happening to our iconic brands. Just won’t be buying them anymore, an absolute disappointment.

Not very nice anymore
I had a couple of biscuits from a variety share pack tonight and they weren't good. The chocolate biscuit was terrible and the scotch finger was terrible too. I tried Yo, yos and they are ok but different too.

Scotch Finger Biscuits
Disappointed - new recipe is terrible. Harder, smaller, do not soak in the liquid when dipped, paler colour, less taste! I won’t be buying these again! Will try the Aldi brand.

Ruined
I knew it wasn’t just me, so was glad to read others had noticed this too. Teddy bear biscuits are nothing like they tasted before. Pay more for lesser quality.

Rubbish
Teddy bears taste like Marie biscuits. Changed the recipe to all the biscuits. I will not buy them again. I'd like to know why Arnotts ruined their product without telling us.

Arnotts sux
Hadnt had scotch fingers for a while, bought a packet yesterday. Talk about Barry Crockers. Thinner harder smaller in length to the scotch fingers us babyboomers grew up with and loved. I tried to break into two fingers as we all did. No way they just broke into irregular pieces. Thought just a one off but no next three biscuits also broke into irregular pieces. The taste is slightly similar but not as good as the old originals. The originals were softer and a bit like shortbread biscuits.
Why do they keep changing their recip...
Read morees. Do they think we are all fools. I wont be buying Arnotts again. Poor old Mr. Arnott would turn in his grave. Dont even get me started on pecks anchovy paste. They always try to tell us nothing has changed. Guess we will all have to start making our own home cooked bickies.Purchased in for $3.50.

Big corporations ruining iconic brands in their pursuit for massive profits!
Just like Cadbury, Arnott's is now terrible quality! A shadow of its former self! Boycott Arnott's & Cadbury until they revert back to the quality we all know & love! It's doesn't help when both companies swear black & blue that they haven't changed recipe's or ingredients! Insult to one's intelligence & demonstrates how sly they have become & only care about profits! If someone lies, do you trust them again? NO!!

Poor quality biscuits
The quality of Arnott biscuits has dropped to the very bottom of the list . Will never buy Arnott’s ever again !!! . Please bring back the old recipes & quality biscuits that we’ve all loved over the years & were proud to call our favourite Aussie biscuit . What do we take to our friends overseas ? Too ashamed to give them Arnott’s .

Disappointed in Vita Weat
I buy vita weat biscuits on a fairly regular basis. Today I cut a piece of cheese (same brand/size that I usually buy...creature of habit) and the cheese slice had even more overhang than usual. Are the vita weat biscuits being trimmed down in size?
I sincerely hope not. We shopper's get so much less 'bang for our buck' these days, it's dreadful that businesses try to squeeze as much profit as they do.
Disappointed.

Arnott's Milk Arrowroot Biscuit has changed to something else entirely
I recently bought a packet of Arnott's Milk Arrowroot and noticed the colour and shape were different as soon as I shook them from their white tubular packet into my biscuit tin. Thin and hard they were so different in taste out of curiosity I then jumped on my computer to see if anyone else had noticed it and found this site immediately. These biscuits sure are not what Arnott's have produced for many decades and after eating two they will be going into the bin as they are not even a pale shadow of what they were before though they have been produced in an oval style to mimic an approximation of the original shape to fool buyers. Any subtlety of the Arrowroot flavour has been ditched completely and replaced with sugar.

Arnott's Milk Coffee I will never buy again
Batch 1221 00:20 Best before 11/04/2022 bought at Woolworths Kilkenny on Monday 11/10/2021. The worst biscuits I have ever tasted. What is happening with Arnott's? Another example of greedy new owners to grab as much money as they can by changing the recipes to have cheaply made, tasteless, products. Arnott's should be shut down as it is not anymore Australian (now owned by KKR from USA) but it is causing huge damage to the reputation of other genuine, great Australian food manufacturers who export their products.

Questions & Answers
Why has the quality of Arnott biscuits got so very poor ?? Was the only biscuit we all LOVED & ate & were very proud to call Aussie . Is it now being manufactured in China ? Will never buy Arnott’s ever again . The company will not survive for long unless it gets back to its original delicious recipes . The biscuits are also very tiny . More important though is the flavour & texture. Please bring back the old Arnott’s . We miss them so much . Will not be buying Arnott’s anymore . The EUROPEAN BELMONT brand sold at Aldi is a lot tastier now than Arnott’s .
Why are Nice Biscuits so dry and tasteless with virtually half a dozen grains of sugar on the top? This biscuits used to be light and crumbly and full of sugar on the top Now they are dry and has no taste. Scotch Finger used to be buttery and shortbread tasting, now they also are tasteless although not as hard/dry as Nice. Arnott's used to be the best brand of biscuits but now have gone downhill
they deny they have changed any recipes but I know they have done something different because it's across their range
Why are Arnotts not making Lattice Biscuits anymore this is unacceptable as these biscuits are used by so many consumers to make deserts and slices please explain and Arnotts did not give the public any warning that this was going to happen. not happy in fact i am angry this is happening...):
Their response to me that not enough people were buying Lattice. This translates to 'we weren't making enough Us$ to continue the line.' We, my family, have been buying Arnotts for generations in blin...
Read mored loyalty to an Australian brand. Cast off as unimportant by the new owners. I urge you to look elsewhere, Eton in Aldi are just as good, we must protest. Just as we did against Heinz when they tried to fool us using overseas (chinese) tomatoes and processing them in NZ. You will notice the Heinz brand has had to resort to changing their brand of cheese. It's not good enough. We can beat these overseas sham artists at their own game. I wonder if they will leave my answer on?? If not look for my own page, they are not going to beat me. Dawn Woods, Melbourne, Victoria.Get an answer from our members and Arnott's representatives
