Scotch finger biscuits.

published

So disappointed in scotch fingers just not the same. Less flavor, no way do they taste how they used to be. The thickness has changed also, they’re now thinner and much less crumbly. What a shame this keeps happening to our iconic brands. Just won’t be buying them anymore, an absolute disappointment.

Not very nice anymore

I had a couple of biscuits from a variety share pack tonight and they weren't good. The chocolate biscuit was terrible and the scotch finger was terrible too. I tried Yo, yos and they are ok but different too.

Scotch Finger Biscuits

published

Disappointed - new recipe is terrible. Harder, smaller, do not soak in the liquid when dipped, paler colour, less taste! I won’t be buying these again! Will try the Aldi brand.

Rubbish

Teddy bears taste like Marie biscuits. Changed the recipe to all the biscuits. I will not buy them again. I'd like to know why Arnotts ruined their product without telling us.

Big corporations ruining iconic brands in their pursuit for massive profits!

published

Just like Cadbury, Arnott's is now terrible quality! A shadow of its former self! Boycott Arnott's & Cadbury until they revert back to the quality we all know & love! It's doesn't help when both companies swear black & blue that they haven't changed recipe's or ingredients! Insult to one's intelligence & demonstrates how sly they have become & only care about profits! If someone lies, do you trust them again? NO!!

Disappointed in Vita Weat

published

I buy vita weat biscuits on a fairly regular basis. Today I cut a piece of cheese (same brand/size that I usually buy...creature of habit) and the cheese slice had even more overhang than usual. Are the vita weat biscuits being trimmed down in size?
I sincerely hope not. We shopper's get so much less 'bang for our buck' these days, it's dreadful that businesses try to squeeze as much profit as they do.
Disappointed.

Arnott's Milk Arrowroot Biscuit has changed to something else entirely

published

I recently bought a packet of Arnott's Milk Arrowroot and noticed the colour and shape were different as soon as I shook them from their white tubular packet into my biscuit tin. Thin and hard they were so different in taste out of curiosity I then jumped on my computer to see if anyone else had noticed it and found this site immediately. These biscuits sure are not what Arnott's have produced for many decades and after eating two they will be going into the bin as they are not even a pale shadow of what they were before though they have been produced in an oval style to mimic an approximation of the original shape to fool buyers. Any subtlety of the Arrowroot flavour has been ditched completely and replaced with sugar.

Arnott's Milk Coffee I will never buy again

published

Batch 1221 00:20 Best before 11/04/2022 bought at Woolworths Kilkenny on Monday 11/10/2021. The worst biscuits I have ever tasted. What is happening with Arnott's? Another example of greedy new owners to grab as much money as they can by changing the recipes to have cheaply made, tasteless, products. Arnott's should be shut down as it is not anymore Australian (now owned by KKR from USA) but it is causing huge damage to the reputation of other genuine, great Australian food manufacturers who export their products.

Purchased in at Woolworths for $2.30.

Questions & Answers

Arlo
Arloasked

Why has the quality of Arnott biscuits got so very poor ?? Was the only biscuit we all LOVED & ate & were very proud to call Aussie . Is it now being manufactured in China ? Will never buy Arnott’s ever again . The company will not survive for long unless it gets back to its original delicious recipes . The biscuits are also very tiny . More important though is the flavour & texture. Please bring back the old Arnott’s . We miss them so much . Will not be buying Arnott’s anymore . The EUROPEAN BELMONT brand sold at Aldi is a lot tastier now than Arnott’s .

Why are Nice Biscuits so dry and tasteless with virtually half a dozen grains of sugar on the top? This biscuits used to be light and crumbly and full of sugar on the top Now they are dry and has no taste. Scotch Finger used to be buttery and shortbread tasting, now they also are tasteless although not as hard/dry as Nice. Arnott's used to be the best brand of biscuits but now have gone downhill
