what have you done arnotts
I also opened up the pack thinking why are they so over cooked and where is the rest of them. I have a plastic container that i have used for years to store after opening. I used to have to eat three salada slices before I could fit the rest in. Now they fit in straight from the pack. Ripping me off. Thanks again arnotts.

Bad batch and sell cheap??
Always loved saladas but recently got some on special and not only are they overcooked but there is literally 5 tiny grains of salt on each square! So someone messes up and to save some money you decide to sell them anyway, on special, and since they are ruined why waste more money by puting the correct amount of salt on them right?? Bad form guys. Saved throwing a bad run away but by doing so risked losing long time customers. 40 years of enjoying your product down the drain. Never again.
What happened to the salada biscuites I use to love?
Been eating Salads for over 40ys and now they have shrunk in size, less in the box and are tasteless.. may as well eat dry rye biscuits.. Wont be buying them each week like I use to.

I could not agree more
I bought a packet of Salada's, opened them yesterday, looked at them and thought, what are these because they are definitely not the Salada's I remember. These were really thin, tasteless, hardly any salt and basically not worth pitting butter and Vegemite on. I love my Salada, but these biscuits are not Salada!!
Bring back the original Salada so I can enjoy having my Salada, with butter and Vegemite as a snack!!!!!!!!!

Salada, perfect with a bit of butter and Vegemite!
SALADA still call Australia home.
Very similar to other saltine biscuits, with Nabisco's Premium being the closest rival. HOWEVER, Nabisco products are made in China whilst Arnott's Salada are still made here.
This biscuit is not for everybody, but I highly recommend them with a small layer of cold butter (easy spread is best) and a very small amount of Vegemite. They are to die for them!
Made in Australia
Are very nutritious (i.e. they will make you fat if you eat too many)!

Always broken and bits missing
Why are there always broken bits, and pieces missing. I have purchased these from Woolworths, Coles and IGA stores. I have never had a packet without pieces broken. I opened a new packet today and one quarter of the biscuit was missing, not the 1st time. They are also harder and not flat anymore.
Too hard, not flat, always broken in sealed packets.

What the hell happened ?.
I used to enjoy Salada's, but, I don't know what the hell those things in the packet are now !?.
Hard as all the rest of the rubbish crackers used to be, which I never liked !.
Some of us cannot swallow hard crackers, even if we wanted to.
The " old style Salada's " were just hard enough to be crisp, but, soft enough to swallow, without having to chew each bite for thirty seconds !.
They definitely did not cut the inside of your mouth, unlike the " Improved version " !.

Classic cracker
The flavour of this cracker hasn't changed over time. Although the holes appear to be bigger and the size a but smaller. There's always a nice amount of salt but not over powering. This is a good neutral tasting cracker to have with cheese although may be perceived as a bit lower class. It comes wrapped in plastic rather than a foil wrapping.
Always the same.
Seems to be getting more expensive with less in the box.

Excellent
I ate a lot of these when I was pregnant. The perfect morning sickness snack to keep you from throwing up. Sorry but it is true. They are salty and not over powering in taste so easy to eat. These are fantastic with cheese on them (when you are not pregnant or at least don't have morning sickness). I buy these sometimes for my son and I think there is a lite version as well.
Another Arnotts classic biscuit. A tasty biscuit that is not too over powering in flavour that it will take away from the topping you put on it.
Nothing that I can think of.

Good
It is a great cracker to eat by itself or with some deli meats and some cheese. That way it can be a light and healthy lunch. I like the salty taste and its not fatty or flaky tasting. Both the flavours are great, the wholemeal is a completely different taste because its a bit softer and doesnt break into crumbs like the original.
I have had the original and the wholemeal variety of this cracker. I buy it because its much healthier than the others on the market.
I wouldnt eat it in front of people because its really crumbly and I would never get rid of all the crumbs off my shirt and off my face.
