This dishwasher is great! Things come out so clean. We do make sure we clean the filter regularly though. Machine had been working fine until last night when error f10 appeared on the front panel screen.

The instruction manual wasn't very helpful so I called Asko customer care line to get guidance as to what I should do next - I was rudely questioned and was told it was strange why I couldn't remember the exact date of purchase and why I couldn't remember what name (mine, my partners or my mum's) it was under at the store of purchase. First used June 2017 - cutlery drawer was stiff to move in and out. Bought ASKO for this cutlery feature so I wouldn’t have to lift a heavy cutlery basket, due to back surgery. We persisted using the machine, but finally organised a service call at the beginning of 2018 to rectify this problem. He readjusted the cutlery rails. However, it is still an issue and is not satisfactory. Also our control panel has an intermittent cycling and the top drawer gets stuck. Help needed!

We had previously had a BOSCH and LG Dishwasher which were both noisey. We wanted a quiet dishwasher and was are extremely happy with choosing the ASKO dishwasher. It can’t believe how well it cleans my dishes. It holds heaps of dishes and is so quiet you sometimes don’t even know it is running. It also dries all plastics. Highly recommend. You even get free delivery. Definately worth spending the extra money. You get what you pay for!

Bought a brand new dishwasher, we used it twice and in a month we had a power surge, the dishwasher couldn’t function. We switched off at the main and back on again it didn’t work. Read the manual and we couldn’t find anything to work it out. We were getting frustrated as we had a big load to wash after a dinner party. Then rang the manufacturer and a technician came out. The problem was that when a power surge happens the plug need to be unplugged from the wall and replugged for it to work. Made us look stupid.

My dishwasher was purchased in December 2014. It has an intermittent fault that has had the technician to it several times both within and after the warranty period, but seems to have settled now. My main problem is the configuration of the top shelf. If anything should move on the top shelf the detergent dispenser will not open properly and much residue is left in the machine. Excellent cleaning and drying. Simple to use. Quiet running except when it changes actions and you hear quite a loud mechanical sound. This happens quite often and is a bit startling. Looks great with sleek lines and the interior is stainless as well. Racks are good and offer a variety stacking options.

At $1600...We were sold this dishwasher on the basis of the Harvey Norman salesman telling us all about the excellent quality of ASKO products but more importantly ASKO's professional after sales service for their PREMIUM-end products. Not to bad of a dishwasher but it broke just out of 2 year warranty. It won’t work when the humidity it up or if it’s raining. Which is just awesome in Australia.

Just don't do it I would not recommend anyone buy anything like this, got told it was excellent quality just as good as a German dishwasher, excellent drying and its better than a $700 dishwasher. Does not wash hot enough, does not dry well, does not do what a $1599 dishwasher should.

Plates are still wet unless I use the intensive wash, max temperature is only 60 degrees and doesn't get hot enough to dry plastic. I paid $1000 for a brand name, don't waste your money on it.

We bought this D5456 last year when we moved into our new place. At that time, this is the only choice we can have as the depth of this built-in model was 54cm - the shortest one in the market. Our slot was 56cm so this just fitted in. The machine is quiet when it is working. The bracket on each level feel so premier compare with previous brand we used. With the same interior space, the bracket can take more dishes than previous one. Another good thing is that there is a small bracket on the ceiling of the inside where you can put all the knife...

The reason we bought this model was because it has three rack with different heights so there is no problem to fit tall water bottles and large pots. Clean very well, very quiet when washing. It also has easy remove a small basket collecting food residue. There are many wash functions built-in but we just the the standard washing which took around 1hr 35min including drying time.

I would NOT recommend anyone buy anything ASKO. We purchased an ASKO dishwasher spending the extra thinking it would last longer her and the sales person marketed as being on par with Miele. Wishing a month of having it we got an error. We had someone come out to fix it. Forums showed this was a common error. Within another two months another error F9 and F12. Also water pools in the reservoir where the filter is but told this is normal (I could be wrong but it didn’t seem right to me). The buttons have always been touchy but now only three yea...

Does a really good clean and all plates come out dry as well. Only problem is pots and pans mode take 3hrs and when we directly connected to hot water we had some problem all round pretty good but. We have had it for 2 years now and am still happy with it

This particular ASKO dishwasher is smooth operating and has a very sleek design, perfect with no hiccups.
Will last for years, robust.
If the start button 'wont work', make sure the door is closed properly or it of course will not operate.
Easy to install and great ASKO customer service

It seems to do the job but I have noticed sometimes there is still some food left on the plates and cutlery which is really annoying.
I have been using the heavier washing setting even though I rinse most of the stuff off before putting them in there. It would be nice if they came out clean every time, even on the quick mode.

I love the Asko dishwasher it cleans the dishes really well. Not that loud. Love the fact it has the cutlery tray on top makes it so much easier than the standard one. The fan inside is great as well dries the dishes well and their not wet the load is finished. Just make sure you put rinse aid in their often just to help with keeping the dishes clean.

Love this dishwasher, complete steal bodybuncluding the base and spray pipes. Has a cutlery tray with a jet on top that ensures everything is washed perfectly. The dryer fan makes sure that all utensils even the plastic containers are dried completely. There are a umber of programs and cycles to select from to suit your needs. Doesn't make any sound, completely silent. Worth the money spent!!

Does a great job of cleaning the dishes, on the occasions that it sees fit to complete the full cycle.
If I had to guess I’d say that about 60% of all wash cycles stop before they finish and leave the dishwasher full of water and the dishes still dirty.

I loved my old Asko, had it for 10 years and would've just replaced the part for a few hundred dollars if i'd known how unreliable this new model is. The salesperson at Harvey Norman tried to talk me into buying a Miele saying the new Asko wasn't up to scratch... I wish i'd listened to him. Just about to replace the control panel for the 3rd time in 4 years. My husband and i only use the dishwasher every 2nd day, so it's definitely not overused It cleans ok but i expect more reliability for the top Asko model.

Asko dishwashers not worth the premium price and minor problems are to be expected (as stated by a company representative).
After having Asko recommended as the best dishwasher to buy we paid the premium price and made the purchase. We were very happy for 5 years until the dishwasher stopped working.This dishwasher is used very infrequently. After the repair company getting to the cause. The new asko dishwasher was put in a rental property as the old one broke. It didn't work, not one cycle. I replaced it with the dishwasher from my house and asko said don't bring it back to the shop, install it in your house. I did. Still broken obviously. They said a service company will contact me and organise a serviceman. 2 days later I had to call and they organized the appointment for 8 days later. The serviceman was running late and couldn't attend. Organized again for another 7 or 8 days later. Serviceman came and said water is pouring...

I have tried many different brands in the past. But greatly in love with Asko. I fill the machine with loads of dishes, on top of each other, but they all come so bright at the end. It has a cutlery tray and an additional basket. Just only issue is the long washing time, the shortest time is 45 mins.

First using this dishwasher my impressions were good. Dishes came out spotless and was the quietest in its class. Started getting f10 fault after 4 months and had to call service guy. Problem fixed but only lasted 1 week. Another service call lasting 3 hours and the result was the dishwasher was still not fixed. They took it away and gave me a brand new one and I had the exact same issue without a month. Customer service was great and they refunded my money. This dishwasher had it been reliable easily out classes my current Miele with racking quality and internal space and quietness and I've never seen such clean dishes. Such a shame. I would think about Asko down the track because the after sales care is that good. I think just a bad batch

Love that you don't have to clean/ rinse the dishes. It is reasonably quiet and has all the required features. Love the stainless steel interior. Better then my old Fisher and Pakel. Also owned Bosh dishwasher but this one is much better. No complains so far. It has all the required feature fir household.
