Worst bike ever owned
We brought our grandson a Atomic 150 Feral ATV bike and it would have to the biggest load of dung ever. We spend more time fixing it then he does riding. Rear shocky keeps stripping the top bolt fixed that then Shocky broke in half. Got new atomic shocky and again with in 10 mins same again. Wiring shorting out!!!! Hoses spliting. No filter on fuel system and Float sticks open when not in use sump and exchust systems fills with fuel VERY VERY Dangerious Would never recommend Atomic ATV to anyone. Especially for children

Atomic but the budget versions of most models
Yes Mikilon build Atomic bikes but not all of them The are built to specks provide by Atomic usually a budget version. Mikilon Australia owns the Mikilon name in Australia and is the only agent. Mikilon models are of the highest quality and always carry 12 months full warranty. The XS300R is made by Mikilon Australia in Australia.

Brilliant value for money
I purchased two Chinese quads from eBay Orion was the brand I think, but it wasn't listed at the time of sale. Turned out to be very poorly made but with abit if modifying could work ok, good for small teens/kids. As a result I did some research and came across atomik, so I traded my two 125cc orions in for two atomik 250s at Gold Coast quads, the guys are amazing there showroom and all. m. Very very powerful and fast and does drifts around tracks with ease. Popping wheelies is no problem in low gear. I am absolutely sold on atomik although I'd recommend you try find them at a local dealer, the loctite, oil and spark plug change etc was all done out of the box by gc quads before the showroom floor and I have never had a single problem with either of my atomiks other than the high compression engine hates cold weather until warmed up. If you can do these few things yourself and tighten EVERY bolt before you ride then you won't have the issues that others have had, find a good reliable mech who's familiar with the brand like Paul and his team and you will have made a solid value for money purchase. Powerful, drifts easily, can be fitted with towbars, carry racks, stereos etc Need to be serviced and tightened out of box or you will end up paying for more7 comments

axle and footrests, upgraded the wiring and spark/timing components, all it needs now is a sports carbie and a new battery and shes ready to go! Still runs great :)Older air cooled one I've held onto still goes hard and it must be around 7 years old now!

Bought my daughter a atomik feral 250 12 weeks ago apart from minor assembly and missing bolts, washers, spacers went together easily. My daughter used it 5 times over three weekends it has traveled only 129km, we started finding it was getting hard to start very low spark atomik said coil or cdi which they sent out. Then we worked out the coolant was getting into the oil, possible head gasket we contacted atomik again no response. we removed the timing cover to test the magneto and we found a spare bolt it has been bouncing around inside t...Read more
he timing cover now we know why it stopped working, we took photos and sent then to atomik via the warranty page on their web page. They will not return any emails so it seems if you have any warranty issues they are not interested at all. So think twice about any after sales service very dissapointed. Bad warranty service, head leaks. spare bolts left inside engine internal damage.1 comment

These bikes are great if your familiar with the engines or know someone who is, out of all the chinese quads Atomik is THE market leader, parklander, icebear and a few others coming in are not far behind but still lacking.Similar opinion? Good quad and great price
I purchased this quad off eBay last Christmas. I had been watching them for some time and managed to pick one up from atomik for cheap (the lucky auction where the interest wasn't there!).
Out of the box, there was some assembly. Nothing to difficult but having the space and tools helped.

ld bring her in. Once electrics were sorted I was set. I took the quad down the bush on our 10 acre property. I weigh 120kg and I'm 6'3. This thing took off! I wasn't expecting much but was very impressed with the power. First is really short, good for steep hill take off, second takes you to about 35-40, 40-55 in third, and 55-80 in fourth. Reverse is a handy gear also! The 80km top end was quick enough. On an actual road I was experiencing a few speed wobbles at 80kmh mark. But I did buy the quad for highway cruising. Over new years I headed out out camping with a few mates out in the bush. The guys took their 4x4s and I had the quad. This is where I put the quad to the test. Extremely steep slopes, big branches/logs, mud and rock. This quad powered through it all. I lost a few nuts and bolts on the fairings but I wasn't concerned. Dented the bull bar on some logs also. The great this about the quads size and weight is that I could manipulate it to turn sharper or to drift on dirt. You can really bounce and kick the back out!Similar opinion? Mikilon actually manufacture the bikes and label them for atomik, this is a very familiar practice in china with many different brands sharing one model being made by one manufacturer.
You will either have a zhongshen CB engine or a Loncin depending on your year. All parts for Mikilons A models are suitable and will match your quad, they will be more than happy to help as they are the actual original manufacturer, whilst providing a better price.
You can collect locally or they post, best contact I've found is from a Personal Message to them on their facebook page with a pretty rapid response time, but I do believe you can call. They will be VERY familiar with your model bike and can help identify your exact part required.

ings stop coming loose, service it every few rides if you can afford the $80 (average at my mech), loctite your bolts, change the battery to a decent one, get rid of the headlights, and if you buy it out of the box make sure you service it and change the oil before you ride. They can take a beating, I've hit a tree sideways at 60km/h and still came out fine. The lightweight tubeframe chassis is still strong and it makes it quick, light and nimble to drift and race on.
