Don’t risk it
I thought I was being clever by saving $200 on a new resmed10, and was aware that this would be a grey import with no Australian resmed backed warranty.
However I had never had a problem with previous machines so decided to risk it. The description of a ‘5 year warranty’ on their website sounded so reassuring.
Of course after 10 months it started making a high pitched whining noise that a google search revealed needs a replacement part.
I returned the machine at my own expense. That was 2 months ago. Since then then aussiecpap have consistently...Read more

Great Product with Great Service
I'm in Australia and needed a new CPAP machine quickly to replace my Resmed S9, which was on its last legs. I bought the Resmed Autosense 10 Auto for heaps less then I could in Australia. I was worried about delivery delays (USA to Oz), but even shortly after Christmas, I got my machine on the 4th working day after purchase - amazing! The tracking process was extremely detailed too. The "10" was easy to set up, does a great job and I've slept longer and felt better than I have in years. I will buy my next machine from them too.

Aussie's beware!!!!
Don't be fooled by the company name: Aussie CPAP.
You would think a five-year warranty was fabulous, but as it is an American machine, local ResMed dealers will not confirm any faults. Nor does the warranty cover the cost of returning to the Australian address. Even more importantly, the warranty does not cover arrangements for a loan machine while waiting for the replacement to arrive, which is up to three weeks. So that is another cost to consider. The price may seem excellent value for money, but please be aware of the pitfalls of buying a CPAP from a non-Australian company.

Aussie CPAP
I bought after being told there were no customs taxes. I was charged $105AUD before they would release the product after a week. It shipped fast to Sydney but was not delivered for almost 2 weeks. They did refund the customs charge immediately. They said this had not happened before. Customs informed me that products over $1000 attract fees. The product is excellent. It was by far the cheapest in Australia, but time delay and fees may be a factor to consider when choosing this company. Still, even though it was delayed, the cost was much cheaper. Overall I am satisfied.

Not an Aussie company
Bought from here believing it was an Australian company. Bank statement shows money went to Singapore, delivery email says being shipped from Las Vagas. 1 week, not even in Aus yet. Don't order from here if you need this in a timely manner.

Extremely satisfied with product and purchase from this company
I was a little nervous to purchase at first, as it was coming from overseas (USA). But after reading through all the reviews, I took the plunge. I ordered on Monday and it arrived (by courier) on Sunday afternoon. All genuine brand products (i.e. ResMed and Phillips) and priced at $250 - $600 less than any rival companies (total cost was AUD$1,497 - no other bank fees were charged). I wasn't concerned about claiming a rebate, as my health cover didn't cover it anyway. I knew what I needed to purchase, as I had hired the exact same equipment from the Chemist. Absolutely happy with the purchase and this company.

Avoid these people!!!!! They will never leave you alone!!!
I purchased one product once for someone else a few years ago who wasn’t familiar with online purchasing.
Big mistake. These creeps have not left me alone since... I am not exaggerating it is taking YEARS!!!
I have called, emailed and tried blocking but these creeps keep spamming me regardless of how many times I have begged and demanded they stop. I tried calling again but ended up at an overseas call centre who only said they would ‘email head office’.
Buyer beware. I don’t believe they are ethical, nor know how to follow basic law, nor do they have any respect for the individual.

I am sorry to hear about the SPAM calls. We NEVER call our customers without their permission, neither we keep records of the contact information unless you purchase from us and we need to call you regarding your transaction. We are an online supplier for CPAP machines, and most of the time our customers communicate with us via chat and email. Although you still have the option to call our Australian phone number. Again, we don't call our customers unless it was requested. :) We truly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.Similar opinion? hone! The ombudsman recommended me to take it to the small complaints tribunal. However I did not had any specific person to complain about as I not knew his real name or who he was. Regarding the unit itself, after a year or so in my garage i donated it to the Salvos. Regarding the machine itself it was useless, if you move when you sleep as well it was claustrophobic. Don't worry about any refund as it is forgotten long time by now. I have overcome the losses. You may should have a look at your customer relations department and also answer your phone when someone has a complaint.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent, excellent. excellent
Purchased the ResMed Airsense 10 Auto online. I was unsure at first as the offer seemed too good to be true. I need not have fretted though as it was a genuine offer, the website was also easy to use and was safe. The speed the order was dispatched and delivered was unbelievable, even got a Sunday delivery! I would not hesitate to use again.

My problem is the air I breath in through the machine with some smell like plastic or chemical
I bought a Resmed Airsense 10 autoset CPAP machine from Aussie CPAP in 15/12/17 and received it before Christmas Day. Now my problem is the air I breath in through the machine with some smell like plastic or chemical. I claim the problem by sent some email and call their phone. I got reply and send the machine to an address of Melbourne that cost me $13.70. After 10 days, the machine be send back to me and told me the machine is all working properly. Regarding the plastic smell, they have disinfected and tested it again. There no more plastic ...Read more

One of my best buys ever
I bought a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset CPAP Machine Auto with Humidifier and Heated Tube for 1,497.00 AUD. The product came with a free mask and arrived in perfect condition in just five days (and free shipping), which I found absolutely amazing. This saved me so much money compared to buying it from an Australian vendor. Do not listen to the stupid reviews on this site which claim that this seller is bad, because it is not Australian. They are absolutely amazing!

I've bought a machine from this mob for my dad because it was surprisingly cheaper than other suppliers. However to my utter disappointment you cant register this product in Australia to track your progress and collate data. Dont waste your time or money with this supplier because YOU WILL GET BURNT!!!

Excellent product - free headset
I understood the product came from overseas, it came within 5 days (I have waited up to 2months for a recent purchase), I could not register the product in the states but I monitor it myself using sleepyhead (free software) I paid $1600 which included a free headset. This was much cheaper than anything I could buy locally and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again. Cmon Australia get competitive

Cheap price, expensive purchase
I bought a CPAP machine from Aussie CPAP and didn't realise until checking the progress of delivery that the machine (designed in Australia) was coming from the USA. Aussie CPAP appear to make a big effort to make themselves seem Australian and I had to look very hard later on their website to find out they were US based.
My problem started when I applied for a rebate on Extras Cover from my Health Fund (with my fund this is $900 every 3 years for a CPAP). They rejected my claim based on changes to the Private Health Insurance ACT 2007 which...Read more
prohibits claims on medical products and services rendered outside Australia. So my few hundred dollar saving on my purchase ended up costing me quite a lot. I calculated this to be a loss of $600 against a similar purchase (including mask and 5 yr warantee) from an Australian online supplier (who also has shop fronts for support. So my advice to other prospective buyers from Aussie CPAP (or any overseas supplier of medical services or goods) is check their location carefully... if you pay for Extras Cover, you may save yourself a lot of money by purchasing within Australia.Similar opinion? Aussie CPAP. Great price and great warranty here in Australia.
I brought Resmed Cpap machine and saved $1200 compared to the price here from local dealers.
I read some bad reviews about Aussie Cpaps warranty but I think these are set up reviews by the same companies that are bad mouthing Aussie Cpap saying that their machines have no back up.
This is totally false,as 9 months after I brought the machine it developed a noise.I emailed Aussie Cpap who asked me to send it to their representative in Victoria. Two weeks later I received a brand new machine.
Aussie Cpap is a good company, who sell much cheaper than local companies and they do have a representative here in Australia, and provide really good warranty.
Many Thanks Aussie Cpap

You'll get an overseas transaction charge
Despite the fact that the price appears in Australian dollars, these guys are not in Australia. You get a massive overseas transaction fee which makes the lower price not worth it

I find it very odd with all the above reviews. All stating buy here or there but no one doing an actual review of the product.
I'll be buying one for myself soon.
All I want to know is how it works as of late my breathing stopped a few times and has me a bit worried. I wake up with my heart pounding which is how the body gets one to wake itself up.
I'll be sitting up in a chair tonight hoping that position doesn't stop my heart.
I get to see a specialist in about 6 weeks. Thought I'd rent one first to see if it does the job. Hate to pay $1500 or so then find out its not for me.
So I take it the unit some how avoids one not breathing by some how forcing air through which alone worries me a bit.
4 answers
Hi Colin52, the air is not forcefully pushed through, but it can be a bit disconcerting at first. I recommend the Auto version rather than the fixed pressure version as the auto can detect when you are falling asleep and adjusts the 'ramp' time accordingly. The 'ramp' time is the time it takes for the machine to get to the pressure you need. fixed pressure machines have a user set ramp time which is combersome and takes alot of trial and error. I suggest doing a sleep study with a specialist before you go to the expense of buying the machine.
If you havent done so already, ask your GP for a referral to Sleep Clinic for a Medicare bulk billed sleep test. You will be able to see better after the trial whether a machine is needed.
I wish I had done the trial first. I made a mistake there. I decided to buy it. HBF refunded $720 of the $1650. Mask was another $259. My sleep specialists gave me what settings it had to be set at but Perth CPAP didn't set it up that way and set it for all the max settings. They had the air set at 16 which was coming through to fast and I struggled with it. The humidifier was at the max and water pumped into my lungs. Not used it since. Had a terrible coughing fit and nearly blacked out. Think there is something wrong with my unit. I notice the courier man dropped it from his shoulder to the ground quite hard so it wouldn't surprise me if its been damaged in freight too. I did get the autosense unit in the resmed10 version. There is an app for ones mobile where it can change the settings on that too. There really should be some very basic instructions on a large card or something.
