Recently ordered two baseball hats for £25.00 from www.babyshowersgalore.com and received two baseball caps which were worth about 50p each. This web site looks too good to be true and it is, they will rip you off. Stay well clear or you lose your money.

I found that I didn't get any assistance when I was looking which for a first time Mum is really frustrating. I also found that in comparison to other baby furniture etc. shops they were really expensive. Lots of things sold together that you really don't need. And things such as bumpers on cots which are not recommended. They did have the giant cotton baby wraps which I love. I got my cradle from here which was fantastic. I also bought the cradle bedding which was more expensive than if I had shopped around.

i'm a mother of three and have purchased all my goods from BG Wentworthville, with my first two children(born in '05 and '06)iwas delighted with the service i got at babies galore everytime i shopped there,but with my third child(born '08)i was disgusted in the service i got,the staff where rude,abrupt and had no time for me,i understand new products come in and the staff need to learn to use them,but the 2 different staff that served me just didn't even try.It's a shame but i'll never shop there again.What's going on babies galore were are all your good staff members gone your shop used to be a pleasure to shop in,now its a disgrace.

I have found staff to be well educated on their products and they are always really helpful, they are happy to spend as much time with you as you need. They have pretty good sales and we have purchased really good items with huge discounts. If you spend over $250 in one transaction you get a photography voucher which is a great bonus. Its always worth comparing prices before making a purchase as they can be more expensive than other stores sometimes.
Large variety of good quality brands available, huge range of products, can view and purchase products on line which is great for mums.

Fantastic would shop there for all my baby needs, Pleasant environment to shop, you dont get hasseled, but they are willing to help out when needed. They kept on coming to us making sure we didnt have any questions for them

Bought a lot of baby stuff for our first baby, found some of staff to be a bit rude and not discuss the features and benefits of the products, as first time parents we wanted everything to be perfect andd also had no idea what we needed and what we didn't need. Product knowledge was not something I was impressed with.
A great range of products are available also in matching sets. Have a loyaty program for frequent shoppers.
The price is a little steep compared to other baby stores around. Customer service could use a little bit of a refresh too.

I came across this site while surfing the internet. I love the range and i think that it is really great that they post australia wide on some items. They can be a little expensive though on most things but they do get some great specials on the website. I bought a blanket from them, the packing was not that crash hot but the delivery was quite fast. I can not comment on the staff as I have not met any as my transactions were online but I can say that my order was processed quickly.

Babies galore always seem to have the best range of products by far and most of the staff working in the Wentworthville store are very knowledgeable and very friendly. You can go in the store and try out their products before buying, which is important for baby items such as strollers, baby carriers etc. But they do tend to be a bit more expensive so shop around once you've made a decision.

Store and staff are excellent! They just have one downside which is that they seem to be priced quite high. For eg I paid $109 for a playgym, found it later at BIG W for $78 which was their regular price... so can be disappointing. I also bought my pram there in special, $500, later to see if reduced even further down to $350. Again disappointing seeing I bought it well before baby was due, had I waited I would have saved so much more. But the staff sold it to me as a deal of a lifetime so I took it. Great range at their stores though, great place to check out items, just would shop around for price.

Babies Galore seems like a necessary evil, really. There are things that we pretty much have to get from there, and the experience is typically not very pleasant. The clientele probably also don't help - lots of pregnant confused people and sleep-deprived confused new mums - it's not really the best combo to ensure easy shopping :-)
I find the Chatswood store to have helpful staff and a good range of products.
Chatswood isn't our most convenient store... the most conveniently located is Warringah Mall store in Brookvale, which is terrible. There is a limited range compared to Chatswood, the staff tend to be useless, and they don't honour the advertised specials that the other Sydney stores have.

The staff at Castle Hill make shopping a horrible experience - they are rude, make you feel like you are impacting on 'their' time! Customer service is not on their agenda!! However, the following week we went to Wentworthville and the service and products were much much better!!

I love this store it is great to see product that i am looking a purchasing. But sometime i find that it dosen not have enough staff to serve every one. I waited about 20 mins one day to ask a question about a product the only reason i waited that long was because it was a safety question and it ended up being not suttable anyway. But on the other hand i also some times walk in and there is no one there and get served straight a way

If anything, they're probably not the cheapest store around, but they stock a good range and you can generally find something in your price range. Also, makes it easier to justify the price for the service.
