It was pretty heavy and expensive for what it was
City SelectWe bought this as it was on special at Babies r us, only to find out that it was overpriced as it was. We were planning on having more kids, so this was one of the options open for us as it had the option to expand seating. We found that the colour was ugly, it was a little clunky and heavy, and it wasn't as smooth as we thought it would be. We ended up returning it and purchasing a different pram.
Great pram with second seat option
City SelectWe bought this pram for our first child and it has been great. Easy to use, durable and my daughter loves sitting in it. We have a second baby on the way and it's great to know all we have to do is buy the second seat. I haven't used it yet as a double pram so can't comment on that.
The only cons would be it is heavy, is in 2 parts, and the extras (like bassinet, 2nd seat) are pretty expensive. But that is the same for most prams on the market.
I would recommend this pram to others.
Plan for the future
City SelectThe reason I bought this stroller instead of other well-rated models was the fact this stroller has so many options & add-ons. If I have a second child, I do not need to buy another train or side-by-side stroller to fit both kids. I just need to buy an add-on seat. The stroller is easy to maneuver in tight spaces like supermarket aisles, is of sturdy construction, wheels can handle most terrain and is easy to fold with one button. Cons - would prefer foot brake to hand brake, bit on the heavy side but I guess is a better build and is quite costly at retail price. Bassinet add-on for newborns is $180!
Best stroller
City SelectEasy to use sturdy easy to fold. I am very happy with the product. Would recommend for first child. Perfect even if you plan for two kids as the second seat can also fit. Perfect bassinet and protection from sun. Would highly recommend people to buy this product. Good one

Best single and double pram ever!
City SelectI've owned this pram for about 4 years and it's still a winner. Very easy to maneuver even when I have both my 4 and 6 years old sitting on the 2 seats. Yes, they hold the weight well. Plenty of room underneath to store stuff. I owned a double pram prior to this one, it was heavy and I got rid of it quickly and replaced it with City Select, best choice ever!
Smooth ride, easy to fold!
City SelectVery easy to fold, smooth riding, and easy to push on grass and gravel. One flaw that I would mention is that the seat height is not adequate for a growing toddler, however is perfect for my 7 month old at the moment. Basket below is amazing and big, can fit a shopping basket in it at the supermarket. Definitely good quality pram, accessories are expensive but worth it.
Heavy and hard to maneuver, not all seat combinations are practical.
City SelectI bought this pram 11 months ago whilst pregnant thinking how great the seating combinations would be. Although it does have some good features and is less clunky than my old pram (steelcraft strider), in all honesty given the cost I wish I hadn't bothered. I have only been using the pram since November last year and in that time we've had a pin pop out of one of the collapsing mechanisms (couldn't stand it up until fixed) and two very squeaky front wheels replaced. It was done relatively easy under warranty, but I'm still having issues with a
... Read morefront wheel and the warranty is about to run out. I have given this a three star rating because it is a great single pram. It's just not one I would recommend if you needed to use as a double on a daily basis. I also suspect the squeaking wheels are caused by heavy loads, and might not occur when used as a single. In general: Cons - It can be very heavy, and hard to maneuver with two kids. (Mine are 3 and 7 months and not big for their age either). The weight is obviously distributed in one line and whilst it has advantages over a wider double pram, it tends to tilt to one side and is very hard going unless you're on a flat service. I live in a hilly area and would definitely not recommend it under these circumstances. We rented a side-by-side double pram on holiday for two weeks recently and it cemented my decision to replace with one of those. I've had minor back issues since the birth of my second child and using this pram exacerbates it. The weeks we used the side-by-side pram? Back pain gone. - Not all seating combinations advertised are practical. My toddler is average height. I can't have them in the combo where the seats face each other as her legs end up on the baby. More annoying - only one or two combos allow for the seats to be tilted back. The only way I can tilt back the baby back for sleep is if the toddler seat sits underneath. My toddler hates this combination with a passion. Ironically I got rid of my first pram because it only allowed the second seat to lie underneath and I knew toddler would find it claustrophobic. That said there is more room between the seats in this setting than other brands. - Rain cover, sun shade, safety bar? You'll need to buy it separately. - Weird but worth mentioning - each seat has a hard plastic frame across the bottom. It's apparently awkward/uncomfortable for the toddler's legs to hang over so she ends up with her feet resting on it instead and her knees around her ears. All my friends with this pram have mentioned the same thing, particularly those with taller children. I can't see my oldest lasting in this until she is four which I believe is the advertised limit. It's a feature which adds to a shorter usage life in my opinion anyway.Accident!! Pram collapsed with two babies in!!!
City SelectI chose this pram as I have 2 under 2 and loved the idea that my children could face many ways and not be on top of each other and the fact it could grow with us and turn to a single when needed.
However after a year of having it and noticing how heavy it is to push with two children my pram collapsed whilst walking to preschool carrying my two children (2.5 year old and 10 month old) throwing me to the ground, injuring myself and children (documented by Drs) I contacted baby jogger and they have been nothing but rude and unhelpful, are not in
Difficult to Push with Two Children
City SelectI purchased this pram to use with an infant and toddler and I have found it to be very difficult and at times dangerous to push on a footpath. It shifts towards one side and I find myself struggling to keep it upright and on the path. In fact, twice it has rolled off the footpath and it's front wheels struggle to roll over cracks in the pavement when both children are in the pram. The seats do not recline with both children and the recline button is difficult to use. It's an annoying pram to put together and pack away - you need two hands and

I contacted the manufacturer, but was told to speak to the store I purchased it from who were unable to assist. The pram works well enough with only one child - the sun shade doesn't do much and the seat is really awkwardly shaped for an infant over 6 months. I do like that my children can face either direction. Previously, I owned the City Mini, which was absolutely brilliant! I'm really disappointed with this purchase.Find out how Baby Jogger City Select compares to other Double Prams & Strollers

Baby Jogger City Select
City SelectI do enjoy my baby jogger. It is easy to maneuver, however, it is still a bit bulky. This is probably just a reality you have to face with a pram that can be a double. I purchased the city select with the reality that I will most likely need to be pushing two kids around it it but I does seem pretty big for just one. If you're not planning on using it as a double I would recommend going for a more compact baby jogger pram. The quality is great so I would trust any other pram in the baby jogger range.
Too hard to push with two kids
City SelectThis pram is extremely hard to push with two kids. It hurt my back every time. Always seemed to roll to the side of the footpath you had to put all your force on it to keep the pram straight. It is also heavy to put in the car. Wouldn't recommend this pram.
Perfect!
City SelectThis is our first stroller purchase and we are over the moon. We got a deal with the bassinet, stroller and a twin seat included in the teal color. It is easy to maneuver, great to fold and to change the attachments. Exactly what we were after, highly recommend this product.

perfect pram for two kids!
City SelectGot two kids - 2.5yo and 1yo.
This pram is lifesaver. very spacious for storage, easy configuration and most importantly its very strong and the wheels are sturdy in the rough road. Adjustable handle bar which is really good and perfect width for double pram. so I can go in and out the shops anytime. Its a bit heavy though, but its all because it has strong frame.
Almost ideal
City SelectI purchased it before my first son was born. I really like the build. It felt strong and durable. You can maneuver easily on ground and pavements with uneven surfaces, cracks, gaps, holes, etc. I had it for 6 years until I sold it. I have not heard it squeaked. I find this good for parents who likes to go for a walk. It also has good amount of storage space. A backpack full of baby stuff can fit underneath with no problem.
Few things to consider about it though is that you have to take off the seat from the frame when you fold it and put it
... Read more in your car. We travel overseas a lot and we had to purchase a carry bag to put it all in (the seat and the frame). I anticipated the hassle of possibly losing parts while in transit which would ruin your trip. Unlike other prams wherein you just fold them and hand it over to the counter before boarding the plane and you're done. It is also of considerable weight. I can't remember the exact weight but I know it's at least 10 kg when I weighed it. It is not cheap. Bought it for around a thousand dollars back then. Overall, it's a good and sturdy pram but I wouldn't advise for travelling.Excellent sturdy and perfect for more than one
City SelectThis pram was the best decision we made out of all the baby big ticket items. The width is perfect for getting through doors/isles for shopping, ease of packing up and down for the car, the size it takes up when it is folded, the versatility of capsule to seat options, or 2 seat options, the ease of maneuvering often with one hand, all great and spot on. The fabric/materials and wheels are all outstanding quality. We have black and after almost 4+ years of rain, sun and wear, it is only just showing signs of fading. We have had this pram for j

City SelectThe newer model doesn't do all the configurations as the previous model - Worth checking this in the store before purchase. The large button in the middle of the handle bar that adjusts height makes it difficult to manoeuver -if your holding another childs hand. The bucket seats are almost impossible to change a nappy in and not suitable for a child under 8ths, unsafe for sleep if unsupervised.
Great pram for multiples!!
City SelectI have twin boys and this pram has been fantastic!! They have used it from newborn and i have never had an issue. Fits through all shops and even with two seats still gets around tight corners. Seats are easy to remove and base easy to collapse. The pram is also extremely sturdy and feels completely safe.
Loving it
City SelectVery easy to install. I love that the second seat is is situation below he first seat. Unlike other prams, the second seat is behind the first seat which is higher than the second seat behind it. The second child can't really see anything except the bcak of the first seat. It is easy to maneuver and easy to fold. Good quality too. Worth the money sent.
Excellent! Everything is simply Excellent about this pram.
City SelectIt's very easy to handle. Very stable - Sometimes, I even let it go downhill with me running next to it, just to play around with my baby daughter and it doesn't deviate at all.
Very easy to pack up and put in the boot. Very easy to unfold and start using it again. Amazingly easy to transport lots of groceries when we go shopping. Very sturdy, reliable and safe. I really cannot say anything negative about this pram.
Still going strong
City SelectI got my city select as I planned to have two children close together. I find it easy to get around footpaths and shop ailes, although going down hill it can wobble and drag me along behind, especially with the undercarriage full of shopping (and it has a lot of room to store stuff). Folds up easily and comfortably fits in the back of a Ford Territory with two seats. My favourite thing about the pram though is the changeable seating positions, especially as the boys got older and started to fight, I could sit them facing away from each other!
Fantastic pram
City SelectThis pram is the best pram I have owned, well worth the money. I brought the baby jogger city select with bassenet and two seats. Easy to maneuver easy to fold up/ unfold never had a problem. Seats can be positioned all different ways it's great. Very good condition frame, seat material strong & beautiful looks great. Love this pram I have two littles ones and use it all the time.
I ADORE THIS PRAM!
City SelectAmazing pram. Light yet sturdy. Easy to wheel around. Deep seats for bigger children. A visor that provides full coverage. Easy to fold down and store. I used mine heavily for 3 years and never had a problem. Prior to this pram I had mountain buggy and I would choose this pram without hesitation.
Loved it and had it for 2 rounds
City SelectThis pram turned on a dime and was easy to fold, unfold and carry. The quality got through 2 children 4 years apart and great resale value.
The only down side is it takes up your entire boot and I have a fairly decent size book. The attachment choices are fabulous too!!
Best double pram, very flexible!
City SelectI did a lot of research before purchasing our Baby Jogger City Select. I wanted a pram that could fit my newborn and 2 year old, but one that would also last the distance for when the boys were bigger. The seating on this double pram is larger (wider and higher back) and more generous than other double prams - it means that I kept using it right up until my eldest was 5 and younger was 3, and it was still very easy to push even with their weight (can carry up to 20.5 kg each seat, so we went to those limits).
I also hated the double prams
... Read more where the baby is shoved down the bottom and below the other seat, with no view. The City Select is an excellent pram, with so many options on how the kids sit. They can face each other, face away, both face mum, both face forwards. It can have a combination of bassinet and 1 seat, 2 seats, or can be used purely as a single pram, but has the option to be a double pram at a later date. I only wish I'd bought it after my first child, and then just got the extra seat when # 2 came along. It is extremely easy to push, foam filled tyres means no puncture issues, and has extra large sun canopies for maximum sun protection. I found an after market sun shade that was big enough to cover both seats (Vee Bee Sunstopper), as at the time we bought ours, Baby Jogger didn't offer one for the City Select (this may be different now). The pram can be taken apart to minimise how much space it takes up in the boot. If using as a double, I would take off both seats, nest them inside each other and then fold up the frame. When using as a single, I would just collapse the whole pram with the seat still in it (the pram is flexible that you can do either way when a single pram). This means that it's not a heavy proposition if you take the option to take the seats off. I was able to manage this pram (with caution) after a C-section, by breaking into it's parts. Would not hesitate to recommend. It's not the cheapest option, but worth shopping around for best price, or you can get them 2nd hand as well.Love It well worth every cent
City SelectLove this pram. Purchased it in 2011 due to having 2 little ones and loved that I could have the bassinet along with the toddler seat and the toddler seat went up to 20kg. Super easy to steer and easy to fold away. It is a bit heavier that most other prams but I'm still using it without any problems 6 years later. Seats are still in excellent condition and have packed bassinet kit away.
Fantastic pram for single or double
City SelectAfter previously having a dud pram for my first child, with number 2 on the way we invested in a different brand - the Baby Jogger City Select. It's an excellent pram, I highly recommend. Strong & sturdy, easy to erect & collapse. It has multiple seat configurations (forward facing, rear facing, different tilts). Comfy for the kids. BRILLIANT basket space which is important. Easy to use as a single or double pram. Can be quite heavy to manoeuvre but that's to be expected with two kids plus baggage. I read lots of reviews & almost all for this pram were really good.
Love this pram
City SelectSuch a easy pram to use. One quick easy open and shut. Can have 2 seats if needed and 16 different positions also carries 20.5kgs per seat. Easy to move and best combo when you have a newborn and toddler. Easy to wash the covers and easy to change from seat to bassinet. Also when you have a capsule it's a easy one click on and off which makes quick trips less stressful. Also can have a glider board for when your child gets to the age where they want to stand.
Loved it!
City SelectAbsolutely loved our City Select! Very easy to manouvre and great storage which made shopping days a little easier! Easy enough to handle and to fold! Great quality and well worth the money spent! Great selection of colours to choose from at that time when we purchased it too. We have since recommended this product to quite a few friends.
This is the perfect pram
City SelectI have tried a large variety of prams, including bugaboo and other leading brands. This is easy to fold and unfold, easy to manoeuvre through shopping centres and easy to pull back to walk over curbs and things. Smooth enough that you can jog and it doesn't bother Bub sleeping. The structure is strong and non flimsy. I had my 4 year old standing on the front metal bar and it was strong enough to hold him for long walks. I recommend this pram to all my friends and family & anyone who needs advice on prams.
So bad.. don't buy as a future proofer. Even a Strider is better than this!
City SelectThis is, without question, the worst double pram I have come across.
It's OK as a single pram but worthless as a double. On recommendation from a friend, I upgraded from a Steelcraft Strider plus to a City Select. It's now clear to me that she is totally delusional.
She spent so much time convincing her husband that dropping $1800 on this bad boy (accessories are absurd) would make their lives better, that she convinced herself! My City Select now sits in my garage and I use my far cheaper Strider instead! I'm going to talk a lot about
... Read moremy Strider in this review, that's not to push the Strider, but rather to offer the example that a budget pram by comparison is streets ahead of the City Select in almost every aspect. Things my friend said: "it's so easy to fold" - NO, it's not! You pretty much have to remove the seats and in this day and age, that's really poor design. The Strider is far easier to collapse. "it steers so well" - as a single pram, it really does... as a double? it is beyond ridiculous! My Strider is 1000 times better. I can push my Strider single handed even with kids in it ... it is not possible with the City Select.Fantastic pram but quite heavy and too wide
City SelectI do love my Baby Jogger City Select and think overall it is a great pram with a large sun canopy, reversible seat, capsule adaptability and awesome storage but there are a few things that annoy me. Firstly it is heavy. I actually find it difficult to get in and out of the boot. Secondly, it's wide and troublesome to use in small, narrow spaces and lastly it is loooong obviously to accommodate a second seat if you need it but as a single it is quite a bulky pram. Fantastic feel to it and easy to use but it's definitely not perfect in my opinion.
EXCELLENT double pram!
City SelectThis was my third pram for two children. Have purchased a Strider Plus (too wide!) and a Strider Compact (second seat was a nightmare for the second child!).
The City Select pram is amazing! So glad i purchased it. Its the 2014 all black model. Pushed easily with one hand. Adjustable handles, so many configurations. Yes its heavy to lift (its a double pram so what else do you expect?) and can be quite long but you develop muscle tone over time. I seriously love it. Basket underneath is worth the price tag alone-so much storage for toys, jumpe
Perfect for us
City SelectSuper smooth to maneuver and so incredibly easy to assemble/open and close down. My husband and I both love this Oran for our little boy. It suits bubs of all sizes and looks great too! The quality is excellent - ours still looks brand new after much usage. We are very satisfied - great accessories for it that you can get also.
Awesome pram, but....
City SelectAfter doing a LOT of research on different prams (for two children) I decided to buy a City Select Baby Jogger. We were hoping to have two children, close in age, so wanted a pram that they could both travel in, comfortably. I also wanted a pram with a travel system (to take the capsule straight out of the car, and attach it to the pram).
This pram has been awesome for just the one child. It is super easy to maneuver one handed. It has a 5 point harness, and big seats. It has a huge basket underneath, which is great for nappy bag, toys, and
... Read more able to fit PLENTY of groceries in there. The only things that I don't really like about this pram is that it IS rather heavy to lift in and out of the car (and I've only just realised this recently, since looking for a light weight side-by-side pram to take travelling overseas....which you can find under 10kg!). Also, with 25mths between children, I didn't realise that by the time bubs was born, the 2 year old would want to walk everywhere!! (although, he does want to sit down, occasionally). With the capsule and a chair set up, it does make the basket a little awkward to access, however still plenty of room! I have since bought a 'glider board', for the toddler to use when he's too tired to walk, which he loves! Overall, a great pram, and glad I chose this one.Overrated and over priced!
City SelectI sold my Strider Compact for a City Select as the seating configurations and the 2nd seat being higher rather than low made me think it was a better option. No it wasn't. Firstly, to take advantage of the different seating options your children must be tiny. There is not foot space! Especially if one or both of them fall asleep, you cannot recline the seats without the risk of some injury. Also, pushing this thing with both seats feels like I'm pushing a train. It is forward heavy and very awkward in tight spaces. The under basket is pointless
... Read more too. Not big enough and hard to access. I could go on but I'll just get to the point, I couldn't see what was so special about this pram. There are definitely much better options out there that cost much give and give you more (i.e. accessories).Best pram ever.
City SelectLoved how easy this pram was to push with one hand. I had the double seat, and I could still push with one hand. Even the daycare staff thought it was the easiest pram they had ever pushed too.
If you have 2 kids, this pram is essential.
I had a problem with one of the wheels making a strange clicking noise, and baby jogger replaced it completely hassle free (under warranty).
Great brand. Can't go wrong.
Love it!
City SelectBest purchase in my opinion! Absolutely love the different combinations - currently use with a Maxi Cosi capsule and sometimes the seat, love how easy it is to go between the two.
Easy to maneuver, can easily steer with one hand and super easy to fold, was my pick as it was the lightest pram that I was looking at.
Very sturdy build and know that my bubs is 100% safe!!
One and only pram
City Selective had my city select for 4 years used it with 2 kids. It is compact enough to throw in the boot, not too heavy, totally convertible to be useful for a newborn toddler or both a newborn and a toddler. It carries loads of shopping, and is great from shopping centres, footpath or even the beach for long walks. Strongly recommend. It's never skipped a beat.
Sturdy pram
City SelectI like this pram. I bought this when my bub is around 10 months and he has started using it for six months now with no issues. While it is bulky it is sturdy and steers easily without any wobbles that could wake up my bub whenever I head out with him in the mall, supermarket or at the park.
It's a good pram
City SelectI LOVED my first pram which was the baby jogger city mini, which is why I got the select when expanding our family. But I do miss the mini as the select is soo heavy and annoyingly long with 2 kids (facing each other)
Pros
Kids can face each other
good sun protection
good looking pram
good break system (on the side)
Has better storage access than the city mini
can have 1 or 3 kids (with skate board and second seat)
