Worst service
Ordered a bassinet online and then got an email weeks later saying it was out of stock. Didn’t arrive in time for my baby shower, and they kept saying the order had been delayed- decided to get a refund as couldn’t keep waiting around having no where for baby to sleep.

So happy with the baby seat :-)
I purchased the Infasecure Lux II (in purple) and am so happy with it. Even though I had to wait for a few weeks for stock to arrive, I was kept informed by Baby & toddler Town. Would recommend this store to anyone :-)

Great service!
Baby and toddler town have been prompt and reliable- and very quick with timeframes for items not in stock. They have a fantastic range and fantastic prices with very reasonable delivery charges! Highly recommend- I have purchased many items from them, and will continue to do so in the future

Baby & Toddler Town
I just wanted to put up a quick review about Baby & Toddler Town. My husband and I purchased all our big ticket baby items for our gorgeous little girl. Car seat, pram, cot, bath, bedding, camera and clothes just to name a few. We’ve ordered both online and within their Underwood store. Staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. Products were always priced well and we have loved all the items we have purchased. I highly recommend this store for all your baby needs!

Excellent customer service
I ordered several items and while one was initially out of stock I was quickly advised of this. Best to pick up the phone to speak to someone as I found everyone I dealt with to be very friendly and helpful. Even though I erroneously order 2 of my 3 items (one by mistake and one by not reading the description fully) they were happy to exchange one for the correct item and refund the other that I did not need. Great to deal with.

Beware and listen to reviews!
As described in many reviews here, I placed more order only to be sent an email to say it is out of stock and would not be delivered for 2-3weeks - I have sent two emails to ask that my order be canceled effective immediately and that i receive a refund. I have now received an automated email telling me they are experiencing higher than usual email traffic and they are unsure when they will be able to reply????!!! - no wonder as to why that is. I shall update once I have had contact with them.
I have since found out through their website that they have gone into receivership - I have been asked to complete a returns claim through my bank. I doubt I’ll be receiving my money back. Do not order from them!

Never again! Would rate 0 stars if I could!
Ordered a car seat 17th July, still haven't received it. Messaged them on Facebook with a generic reply that someone will contact me. I was at work when they called so couldn't pickup and they still haven't followed it up. Horrible service. I need this car seat and they don't seem to care.

Don't Purchase Anything From This Business!
Just like other reviews I was told my items are not in stock & have to wait 3-4 weeks & I'm still waiting
*they are quick to take your money & you get bs & a headache in return*
Go to baby bunting, kj essentials,
Tiny fox, ebay,
Anywhere but baby & toddler town!!!!
It's absolutely appalling how they treat their customers, most who are mums & dads that need their items asap!
We are under enough stress! B&tt just add to it!
Please do not waste your time & money!!!

Disappointing delivery service and staff communication
Ordered a baby carrier. Not advised that the company had no stock and that needed to order from manufacturer. No communication over a week regarding dispatch.
Attempted to email twice in 7 day span and nil response.
When I was able to get someone on the phone they advised it would take a further 2 weeks before I would receive my item.
Poor service and delivery.
Will not be purchasing from this company again!

Just Plain Bad
I ordered a $400 baby monitor online and around 48 hours later I got a call to say it was out of stock and will be back in the warehouse in 1-2 weeks. I questioned why it was sold online while it was out of stock but ultimetaly I accepted it and it was delivered 2 weeks later.
2 months of use and the camera stopped working. I looked at their warranties and return page and it said the best thing to do was contact them so I sent them an email. There was no reply after 24 hours so I sent another email, another 24 hours passed, still no reply so ...Read more
I called them and was told that the "repair lady" will get back to me. This was on a Tuesday. On Tuesday night after no response I contacted the manufacturer and they sent out a replacement power cord which I received on Wednesday afternoon, this fixed the issue. Still no response from Baby and Toddler Town. I ended up receiving an email on Friday afternoon that said "With Oricom they do like to deal direct with you to trouble shot over the phone please call them on 0245748888 and they may be able to work this out for you over the phone." 5 days to get this very basic copy and paste response. It is standard practise to first make contact with the retailer so they can provide advise on next steps or returns but 5 days for a response is far too long, especially when it comes to an essential baby safety item. I will not buy from them again based on this experience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
DO NOT do business with this company!
This is the first review I have done but I feel compelled to warn others about the shocking customer service at Baby and Toddler Town. I read a new bad review for them every day - everyone seems to be having the same experience as I am. This is not an exaggeration - listen to the countless reviews and save yourself the hassle, do NOT do business with them!

back in stock in 2-3 weeks. I then heard nothing. I was naive enough to believe the first email advising the goods would be dispatched shortly, and placed another order (early May 2022). I was sent an identical email advising that the second order of products were out of stock and to wait 2-3 weeks. Seems like this is the standard practice. I contacted them mid June which was now 6+ weeks later of no contact, I was told there were further delays and I should receive all my products mid July. Later I was then contacted and told some things had been delayed again and it would be end of August. Many emails later by myself B&TT agreed to ship what was 'in stock mid July'. I have received none of it at this stage. I have also bee told that it is now September before I can expect the remaining products. If they are actually sent then - which I am doubtful of - it will be 5 months since I ordered. There was no mention of all of these products being out of stock on the website, when I was able to order them not knowing of these delays.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Let me order while out of stock
I ordered a pram online. A few days after paying I was informed that the pram was out of stock and it would shipped 2 weeks later. 10 days later I was informed it would be another 2 weeks. I ended up cancelling the order and requesting a refund.
In this day and age, it is scandalous and unacceptable that a business of this size should be allowed to take orders from customers for products that are out of stock. If Baby and Toddler Town can't display stock levels online, then they should not be doing online business at all, and instead learn from...Read more

Go to baby bunting- STAY AWAY
Made a purchase of a pram over 7+ weeks ago and still no delivery. Their website says the product is in stock too! Completely misleading. Baby has arrived but no pram. Between my wife and I, we have made over 15 calls. The internet service team namely Lacey, Paige and their manager Sabrina have not returned any calls or emails despite making several assurances to do so. At this point I cannot even get them to engage with me on any level. They have held onto my money for the entire time and cannot provide a date for delivery. Horrible experience...Read more
to date, zero customer service and still no pram! Given how much prams cost it is very unreasonable that they have not made delivery. This is money I could have against my mortgage for instance. Go to baby bunting instead of here.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Avoid online store
I purchased mid-May, and the next day received an email to say unfortunately my purchase was out of stock and to expect it early June.
I had no further contact from the company unless I contacted them. I have now (early July) cancelled my order and purchased from another company, who posted me the item within 2 business days.
I emailed to cancel my order, and called twice before the order was finally cancelled and refunded.
Very disappointing overall as there is no indication on their website that you are entering into a “pre-sale” and one would assume they have the merchandise in stock that you are ordering.

DISGRACE!
I put a $2000 pram on layby at the start of March 2022 with an end of June pickup. I told them I would be paying in store once it was ready to collect.
End of may/start of june I started emailing to see where the pram was. Got no answer to my first 2 emails.
So I called head office in which they said they were putting last bits together before sending out to store.
A week later I get a call from the Underwood store QLD, to say that unfortunately they are closing down stores in QLD. So they would be sending me the pram direct. I didn't want...Read more
this as I wanted to pay instore once I had the actual pram in front of me. So next minute they were able to get it store before the closing date of the 30th June. I called to check that it was ready for collection on the 28th to which I was told that only half of the pram is ready to be collected. They were still asking for money over the phone. They also told me that the other half was being delivered early to mid next week (4th July). So I went up on the 29th to collect what was there and pay the rest of the money once Id spoke with an actual person.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Nothing but disappointment
At the beginning of March I ordered the grotime retro cot package and the citi mini gt pram and was told this would come the middle of may beginning of June.
Closer to the end of may I called to confirm if my items had arrived. Low nd behold I was told the chest and pram had arrived but nothing else. After calling and following up several times they agreed to have these items all transported to me two hours away free of charge.
After calling to find out when these would come and not receiving an answer I got a phone call on Monday saying they ...Read more

Maybe I was one of the lucky ones?
I ordered a valco baby snap ultra pram through Baby & Toddler Town and then read reviews about the company and instantly had my doubts about how long it would take for me to receive the item/ if I would receive it at all. However, I can happily say that 4 business days later my order has arrived with no issues at all. I’m very happy with my order and the turn around time it took to receive the order. however I doubt I will order through them again as I don’t want to chance it given their seemingly common issue of not being able to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

Hi everyone, Has anyone had any progress with speaking to Fair Trading?
I lost $1500 on a bugaboo, received an email saying it was on back order for 2-3 weeks, was provided a $50 voucher which I used and topped up with more money to order Bugaboo accessories, only to AGAIN receive an email saying all items were on back order 2-3 weeks (all paid for with debit card so my bank has no options for me).
From these reviews it appears the store was knowingly selling stock they never had or couldn't fulfill.
This appears to have been going on for 6 months +, which surely must be illegal?

The company is in liquidation. Did you receive an email from them to advise the matter? Bad luck to me too, I lost $1010 for Egg stroller. I paid by Zip not credit card & could not get money back as could not dispute or reverse transaction. Extremely angry but ...what can we do?
Yes I did.. I was more curious around whether fair trading could do anything as it sounds as though they had been trading insolvent with knowledge they had no stock for months and months... I cant believe we have no protection as consumers if not using credit!
What did you pay to them? Credit card? Did you lodge any dispute? I know, they are worst than a theft. Trading no stock & trying to take our $$$ as much as possible... Now they priority pay for secured debtors, employees but not us...

Has anyone actually received there items?? Despite the mess around from the company?? Did you eventually receive it?

I haven’t received yet but they have dispatched it on the day they said they were expecting stock when I enquired, so fingers crossed I get it soon!
I ended up getting a refund
I received only 2 out of 4 items I paid for.... 2 months later?!? Zero email correspondence, simply received a refund with no correspondence telling me the other two items were no longer on stock. Shocking service, I am so angry. Never ever shopping with them again.

I have not received any response to my emails. I have lodged a complaint with fair trade.
Thanks. I actually called them 3 times this morning, got a bit angry and they offered a refund. And I have now got my refund 3 hours later. I would definitely be calling them
