Beautiful Cot!
We bought this for when our daughter stays with family while I work but we use it at home too for daytime naps. It is simply beautiful and easy to put together! So much better then the big ugly ones! Worth the money for what you get. The black mesh also does make it a little bit darker which is very handy.

The simplest & easist travel cot ever!!
We have used this beautiful (pink version) travel cot on 2 separate holidays away. It has been absolutely a god send! So easy to assemble & disassemble & even easier to pack away in the carry bag. The only downside is my toddler has now learnt how to climb out of it.

Best portacot ever
Yes it's expensive, but it is well worth the price if you plan to do any travelling. It literally takes only two minutes to set up, two minutes to fold away and is quite light to carry. Seems sturdy and safe with baby in it too. Never had any problems with it.

LOVE IT
Extremely easy to assemble and dismantle that other travel cots we have seen. We were sold of the eight and compact size which is great for packing the car on short trips. It is worth every dollar and for my peace and mind it is breathable and made from the finest materials. We have used it for all 3 kids and it is still in excellent condition. The mattress is not too firm or too soft it’s just right for babies comfort and we also purchased the fitted sheet set which is a nice snug as other sheets would be too big in size.

Love it!
So happy I bought this! Practicality is always the most important thing for me with all of my baby gear and this has ticked all of the boxes. Really easy to assemble and collapse, but most of all it’s light, which means that I can quite easily manage it when getting through airports when I’m travelling on my own - not an easy task when you’ve got a suitcase, carry on, pram and not to mention a baby strapped to your chest in a carrier! Would highly recommend.

Worth the Money
This travel cot is defiantly worth the cost. It is light weight, comfortable and easy to transport. We take the BabyBjorn travel cot with us on our weekends away and when visiting family. It is able to be set up in seconds and comes with a comfortable mattress. The breathable mesh around the sides makes it ideal for summer. We got the pink travel cot - love the colour!

So easy!
This travel cot is so easy to store, transport, carry, set up and use! And it's exceptionally well made, so I know it's going to be our son's go-to sleep place until he's old enough for a bed. Yet again, another brilliantly functional (and good looking!) product from Baby Bjorn.

Easy to carry around cot!
We live in a two storey house and this cot is so handy and perfect, my son has his nap downstairs, but sometimes I need to be upstairs to do house chores, and I take the cot with me so I can check on my son easily. The cot is so easy to unfold and it is light too so I can carry it around the house with no problem. When we go on a road trip we unfold it and put the cot in the car and it fits perfectly. We love the travel cot light because our son is comfortable in it and because it makes our life easier.

Sleeping beauty! another fabulous Baby Bjorn product
Our LO is a light sleeper at home, initially very nervous about naps and sleepovers not in his cot/nursery. Over the moon with the results, sleeps very well in the Travel Cot, most likely due to the comfort of the sheet/mattress and temperate climate due to the perfect breathable structure. So so easy to set up and dismantle even after long car journeys, whilst feeling very very stable on the floor. With the added bonus of being lightweight and very easy to transport this is a must have for parents who occasionally or frequently travel. I have put my 100% faith into Baby Bjorn products are buying the Carrier One and yet again I'm delighted with the results

User friendly and wouldn't go back!
Now that I have tried the BabyBjorn travel cot light, I want to tell everyone how great it is! It is light, comfortable and user friendly.
As a family, we go away on many weekend trips, conferences and holidays. The agility of the BabyBjorn travel cot light is amazing. The mattress is so plush in comparison to what I have previously used.
I only had one demonstration of how to use this cot and that was all I needed, it is very easy to use and packs away very easily.
It is suitcase sized which makes it easy to carry and fit into the boot of the car. I wouldn't go back and want to recommend it to every parent.

Light and easy to use
I researched carefully before buying a portacot, because I had used a friend's portacot (one of the common ones - sturdy, heavy, hard to assemble and disassemble) and wanted to find a good alternative. I have been very happy with my choice. It cost about $300, but I use it every couple of weeks, and it's just so easy to carry and assemble and disassemble - it's been worth it. I recommend getting the black one so that if you use it for a daytime nap, the inside of the cot is a bit darkened from the black mesh. I've had it for a year now, and haven't had any problems.

Best travel cot
This travel cot is great! It’s lightweight and easy to carry, and the best part is how quickly it assembles. After a long journey with a tired and cranky baby the last thing you feel like doing is spending ages putting a cot together (like the previous cot we had, which was really clunky and took forever to put up). This one is up and ready to use in a couple of minutes. It's very sturdy and the mattress is firm but soft (unlike most travel mattresses) and looks really comfortable to sleep in, especially with the soft organic fitted sheet. We recently used it for the first time and our son slept as well as he does in his cot at home. This will definitely make for easier weekends away!

Compact, light weight, opens out in seconds and has a comfy mattress!!
We've been really impressed with the BB travel cot. It's compact and has a carry bag so it really is convenient to travel with. It opens up in no time which is what you need after a long trip and the mattress is better than any I've seen on other travel cots. Our bub has used it a lot, she sleeps well in it, so no complaints!! Also it's washable which is a real plus.

Light and so easy to use!
I borrowed the Babybjorn Travel Cot off a friend and once I had used it once, I knew I needed my own. It is so light, compact (easily fits in my small car) and so easy to put up and pack down. I would definitely recommend this cot to anyone looking for a travel cot.

Ticks most boxes
I did a lot of research when it came to buying a travel cot, our criteria was comfort, easy to travel with and quality, after using this one camping when baby was 3 months old we loved it as it fit in our tent and was quick & easy to set up and move around our site, also the mattress is very comfortable.
Now that baby is 12 months we find the height very low when putting her to bed, because the mattress sits level with the floor the centre of the mattress sinks down like a 'V' a bit. I've since purchased another brand which is bulky and heavy ...Read more

Great product for taking to friend's houses
The Travel cot is great for putting in the car and taking over to friend's houses when invited to lunches and dinners. We set it up in a spare bedroom and when baby is ready to go to bed he goes to sleep very easily and sleeps soundly. We then transport him into the capsule when we are ready to head home.

Best Baby Purchase I've Made
I bought this cot upon recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. This cot is amazingly easy to put up, put down, store and transport. It's also really comfy for baby (just feel how hard most travel cots are). We've ended up using this as our 17mo's main cot for most of his life as we've spent most of his life renovating and it fits easily in my bedroom and he's really comfortable in it. We didn't have him in it full time as a newborn (just if he'd occasionally take a day sleep downstairs), but from about 6 months onward, on-and-off, ...Read more
he's called it home. The only downside of the cot is the price. Though if you plan on travelling a lot, using it downstairs, or using it as a cot to take to the grandparent's house (or use while renovating!), then it's worth the investment, especially if you have more children who will get use from it. I've noticed too since buying the cot that there are some similar-looking alternatives. They may be worth considering, as well as second-hand options if money is an issue.Similar opinion? Where have you been all my life? Well...the last year anyway..
Have been using a cheap, functional, clunky portacot up until now that served a purpose. However heading away with my son but without the husband I felt a smaller and easier to assemble cot was going to be required (I had no clue how to work the other one!). This cot is seriously AMAZING!!!!! Up and down in seconds. Mattress is firm but well padded and looks comfy. It comes in a bag that I can actually get it into and out of easily! I would recommend this cot for anyone and everyone looking at purchasing a first portacot...Its dreamy :)

Worth every penny!
This cot lived up to our expectations. I was a apprehensive about spending so much money, I have no regrets. It is so easy to set up, pack down, and take with you anywhere. It is smaller than other cots but my so is a big boy and sleeps so well in it. The mattress is comfy too. A great purchase!

Questions & Answers
Jessica H.asked
Does the sheet made for the cot have holes for the safety hooks to be able to attach to the mattress?
2 answers
Ours didn’t - I can see how that would be a good idea. If it helps, our sheet has never come off - the fitted elastic of the sheet holds the sheet to the mattress very well and still left enough room for the safety hooks to attach directly from the base of the cot to the holds on the mattress. So, even without holes, the sheet didn’t really get in the way of the safety hooks.
Thank you!!

Has this particular cot caused any infant deaths?

The product says it complies with Australian safety standards however it describes the mattress as soft, which is not recommended due to the increased risk of SIDS. Wondering how soft this actually is?
1 answer
The mattress is foamlike inside however the cover is thick and strong so I wouldn't describe the mattress as a whole as 'soft'. Also when the mattress is in the portacot it is completely flat and is tucked into the edges quite safely.
