A few years ago we had this account and for a small fee got to make as many transactions as we wanted. That was fine until Bankwest and others introduced fee free accounts and made this account redundant. The only reason not to use the Hero account, for example, would be if you weren't depositing your salary in there (or that was less than $2000 a month).
In the days before fee-free accounts were widely available, this was probably the best option.
There's little point in having one of these now, if you're with Bankwest you might as well go with the hero account.
