If it's cutting out after a period of time and all of the remotes / devices are not being touched then it could be a fault in the electronics eg get's warm - then faults.
Check the warranty period, and when you brought it,
If it's still in warranty then contact Aldi (Bauhn aren't sold anywhere else) and arrange to return it for repair / refund if they can't repair or don't have a replacement that you agree to.

Have had this TV since 2017 and wondering if you should be able to get Netflix on it - I have only just signed up to Netflix and tried but although you can sign into Netflix, doesn't seem to load any shows?

Yes you can get Netflix on that tv it has a Netflix button on the remote control it’s great !!

BAUHN 55" Ultra HD LED Smart TV
My headphone socket does not work so decided to fit an audio converter to the optical port. All I get is a constant fast clicking.
Contacted the maker of the audio unit who says I need to change the output of the TV to PCM.
Does anyone know if this can be done, and how?

No, not to your phone but potentially to your bluetooth enabled headphones. You need to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter that can connect to your TV's optical or 3.5mm output jack.

If YouTube is not part of the TV operating system, you'll need to purchase something like Google ChromeCast to have YouTube working.

TV Guide seems pretty minimal... no 'look ahead' feature that I can find. How do I accomplish this? Even my 7 year old cheap television could do that. It is my assumption that it was just an oversight in the manual on how to make the guide full screen.

I haven't found a way to look ahead either. Interested to see if someone else has.
Flipping to the 'time view' only shows one channel at a time.... not very productive. My guess... they will never put out a firmware adjustment to fix it. Oh, well... the full screen option would have been so much better. No one needs to see two thirds of the screen of what they were already watching when they are trying to find something ELSE to watch.

You could try unplugging it, giving it a minute and plugging it back in. Other than that if it's in warranty contact Tempo.

Menu button and when the list shows up you should be able to see Network. If it's there you go into it and you connect Wi-Fi via there. It should say in the paperworktjat came with it or on the box if it's a smart tv. If it's not I'd return it and buy a better brand. I'll never buy another or recommend an Aldi tv!!
If it's the one in yesterday's Aldi catalogue, then it's not a smart tv. Only uhd.
The one from Aldi on saturday 18th has wifi and has Lan, i dont have the tv my self as they were all sold out :( but i just checked on Bauhn website and it states there.

Try unplugging it for a minute and then plug it back in. Retune it. Factory reset it. Do them 1 at s time and of it comes good stop.
