Poor picture as soon you move a little side way loose the color it fades, poor Sound just very ordinary, just the limited basic for ports, within a year stopped working, just out of the warranty, kept turning itself off every 10 minutes, kept it as a spare in the bedroom without turning on, after a year tried to turn it on just completely stopped working, only the logo is on the screen nothing else. DON'T buy one. It is a piece of rubbish. There is many reliable known brand that is the same price. Paid $200, will throw it in the annual rubbish recycling collection heap.

Only had TV for one week and NO sound. Working fine the night before next day turn it on and nothing NO sound at all. Checked all connection. Not happy at all. Apart from no sound the TV isn't to bad for the money. I suppose you pay for what you get. Nothings meant to last these days.

Very good value for money and certainly lasted. We had our Bauhn 42" for more than 5 years. It was almost half the price of similar size, screen density televisions at the time. However it has not skipped a beat for all of those years. It was particularly good at playing back almost any video/audio file we threw at it through the USB input. Also the tuner seemed to be as good as any of the name brand televisions using our sketchy aerial setup. We have only just replaced it with a Bauhn 65" and we're retiring it to a bedroom. I hope the new Bauhn lasts as long.

Cerap tv ever. Had to replace 1 before 2 months and now its broken again with 6 months.
Screen displays but after bauhn display it goes off again.
Refused to refund too. Never buy again looking for cheap tv. Better get samsung or lg which has 5 year warranty and reliable.

TV was good for the first 18 months. Then it would lock when a USB device was inserted and the tv had to be turned off and turned back on . The remote started to play up and the power on off button stopped working. Have had to turn the TV on with the manual switch on the side. Now when the blue light comes on the is no picture 80% of the time. Occasionally it will work. This TV is just over 2 years old. for a $600 investment that wasnt very good. I will not be buying another ALDI TV. They need to improve the warranty on the TV s because I dont think people will take the chance with them now.

sound terrible, have to have sound really loud also, cannot get it to stream netflix, tried for ages, my advice would be to spend a bit more and buy a decent brand, the picture is ok but that's probably because my last tv (which is now in my bedroom) was only 32inch.

The TV was never great, sound was always average and PVR function often played up half way through recording but now the picture has died within 3 years. So black screen but sound works. Aldi and Tempo don't want to know. Have tried a few calls and emails etc with no luck. I really wouldn't have minded getting 5 years out of this for the price of $600 but less than 3 years is a bit of a joke.

Very tinny sound, disappointed. Not happy at all. Gave my old Samsung away to my friend, I may have to ask her for it back, and return this one to Aldi, where I bought it. I find the sound actually hurts my ears when I try to increase the volume.

I have an older 42" Vivid plasma I got from Aldi like 10 years ago.
It still works! Only the remote control receiver has failed!

My AS-47fhd1 tv failed 1 month outside the warranty and this isn't my beef...Took the thing to a registered technician and he said 2 printed boards needed replacing so OK I contacted Aldi and after 1 week and many phone calls the contact was given to me by a person in P.R . Tempo Aust p/l . supplied wrong parts and charged me 150.00 then told me to go whistle over the phone,Tech needed $400.00 to cover labour and Aldi closed all contact with me, wouldn't answer the phone calls, TV went in rubbish bin with my money.Have bought 4 electrical items from Alidi and I now say they are the greatest Land fill Company in Australia and won't be buying anything from them EVER again. 1 very unhappy EX customer . NCS.

I had purchased the implied 50in bauhn TV being my 3rd purhased since and have also picture issues with regard to this current product. At certain intervals during ownership the picture whitens at the left side of the TV and when I apply some localised pressure to the case frame by grasping the affected area it usaully comes good? Still this product is defective and any response from the implied servicer is still pending any response at all. What can I say other than this product is not worth the initial saving and shall refuse to indulge further with this brand.

Another loyal Aldo customer has found out this TV as with others has lasted just 2.5 years! TEMPO are not willing to consider any claim! Contacted Aldi Customer Service Hot line TWICE and now taking my request to a higher level! Let's see what Aldi can do or off we go to ACCC for a full report and publicity.

same. i bought mine from thornleigh, having waited since 7am saturday morning. Picture quality and sound quality are absolute rubbish.
going back today. How can they sell something so obviously crap ?
I buy a lot of their stuff, usually very good quality, definately not so when it comes to TV's.

I lined up at 6.30 this morning and paid Aldi $799 for one of their 55" TV's. I have just connected it all up and I simply cannot believe what I am seeing and hearing. The picture quality is horrible - there is no definition on faces and colours are unnatural. The sound quality is atrocious but I expected that. I need it at 100 just to hear it. There is no base. I am currently working my way through the instruction book to see if I have done something wrong. At this stage it is going back this afternoon.

after 2 years our new TV from Aldi has gone dead. As retired pensioners we don't know what to do ? any suggestions as we need a new TV and this is our only way of communication with the world?? We cannot believe that's this can happen when it was told to us this was a German brand.

Bought this TV for a great price of $777 plus 0.5% card fee. Plugged it all in and the picture was rubbish, not even SD quality, let alone full HD. Tried different cables, re-tuning etc to no avail. Called in the Bauhn technician who took it away. Screen was classified as dead on arrival and that was the end of my TV. With no more available i had a blank space on my wall and had to get a refund. But don't expect to get your card fee back. Get what you pay for- Think i will stick to Samsung.

My 50" screen went blank after 2 years. Very disappointed as I can't afford another TV. Should have read reviews prior to purchase. Sounds like this is a fundamental problem with this mode and I would expect Brauhn to acknowledge that. Certainly not good for Aldi. l Won't buy Brauhn again.

Same...after a week screen had a faint black line across the centre, emailed as requested pictures of the screen and no reply 3 weeks later called again and emailed still nothing and now no picture at all. Not happy as the money could've went on better things. I think I'll stick to professional businesses Australian owned from now on and read reviews before purchasing anything from a foreign business!!

Bauhn TV's have poor refresh rate and are very uncomputable for gaming because it's DELAYED.
