One of the first products i tried for adult acne, i really wish i hadn't. I could only use for a week or so before having enough of the burning, redness and pain that the products caused. I tried weaker strengths of the spot treatment and that still burnt.. After washing face it would feel so tight, stripped of oils and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend to anyone, it's really not a great range.

If you want your face to be itchy, burning, peeling (dry skin) and tomato red. This product is perfect. I do NOT recommend. Do not make the same mistake I did!!!!

I used 5% consistently for 6 months and it didn't do its job. My skin is now dry and has more acne than before. I definitely would not recommend Benzac AC.

I have been using benzac acne wash 5% for a few days. My skin has already started to clear up.
My skin feels tighter as it’s dried I think.

I noticed my grey face washer has orange patches in it, first I thought it was foundation and it won’t wash out.
I use it again and this time my face towel is 85% orange.

I rinsed my face with water after and pay dry with another towel.
Boom! Light orange on my other towel.

Works for pimples for me so far but please be careful with your towel especially if they are good one. They just gonna end up in the bin

Benzoyl peroxide is an effective product to combat acne, only use either the 2.5% or 5% for your face the 10% will not work any better and will just dry your skin. The 10% cream or wash would be an effective solution to bacne though. This product is very drying and so i would suggest moisturising 2 times a day regardless of skin type and if you are to wear this in the am you NEED to wear sunscreen as it makes your skin sensitive to light. Also beware this product will bleach any clothes or towels it comes into contact with so wash your hands thoroughly, if you have not used these types of products before introducing them slowly is probably a good idea. Perfect? No, my face has never been worse. Yes it got rid. Of some pimples, bf I rather my face before hand then now. My entire face is red, dry and peeling. It looks like someone put my face on fire and it’s been like this for a week now!! My skin is just horrible and nothing I do will fix it! Quite disappointed. I know these are some side effects but these “side effects” have ruined my face even more

My teenage son had developed cystic acne and I got him to try Benzac cream first.It dried up the acne within 2 days.Now he is also using the cleanser and so far so good.It's dryi g on the skin though so he uses Vit E cream as well to help with scarring.He is also taking Vit C supplements.He was prescribed Akamin but ended not taking them and I'm pleased and drink lots of water to flush out the toxins.

I bought Benzac AC 5% from National Pharmacies for my brother who has moderate acne. After about 2 months, we noticed a huge reduction in acne and he now has mostly clear skin. He still applies the gel on every day. It is a bit harsh on the skin, which is why he only applies to the affected area. Since it is working for his skin condition, we are not planning to use the 10% Benzac AC. I would recommend this product for those who are looking for a product to reduce their acne.

This is the most effective product I've ever used! Great results on the next day. My skin looks much better than before, the acne is gone, smooth in touch, very good looking. Highly recommended!

I would always buy Oxy instead, even though it is harder to get them these days. Benzac's tube always splits open before you get through so the gel would spill out from different places as you squeeze it. Don't know what they were thinking when they designed the packaging.

I've struggling with acne and dark marks on my facefor about 16. Now my skin is smooth and acne free. I highly recommend it. It's a great product. Love it

i have always been strugling with acne. i didn’t have a lot of acne on my face but i have plenty on my back. i had black spots all over my back and it bothered me so much. i decided to use the benzac ac 5% gel at first. it definitely cleared up my face acne but it didn’t affect my back acne. so i changed to the 10% and viola! it cleared up my back acne. so i really recommend this product and definitely start from 2.5% or 5% to test whether your skin cooperating with the treatment or not and then move on to the 10%. these products do work but it takes a while so be patient and just keep putting it on.

I easily get breakouts because of my oily skin. I tend to get pimples like once a week and its annoying because once one is nearly clearing up, another one takes over. So it's a non-stop cycle thing. I've been using benzac, although I'm not sure which brand. I get it for cheap by searching in Google for coupon code "BEN247AC" and I've been using it ever since! although it might be a bit drying, It sure does help dry up the acne faster. Especially cystic ones, which I get once in a while. I tried a lot of treatments before benzac and nothing worked as well. Drinking a lot of water also helps a lot. So yes, really just try this stuff, it works I tell you! Good luck!
