My deepest apologies on not remembering the name of the lad that helped me through an unplanned outage, I cant speak more highly on your people skills. Excellent Customer Service.
Best Telecom has been my Communication Provider for the past 4.5 yrs. I recently relocated to the Gold Coast. Sergio from Best Telecom made the transition so easy & simple. Sergio has A+++++ Customer Service Skills. Best Telecom are a 100% Australian Provider that doesn’t involve an overseas call centre. I highly recommend Best Telecom for all your Communication services.

NBN delivery awesome
I recently joined Best Telecom after having had a horror story with Telstra, TPG and Optus. It’s taken them a couple of weeks to get things sorted but I now have full speed. I have also brought across my mobiles and business internet, phones and inbound number as well. Lovely to also to talk to Australians as well. A truly refreshing change!!!!

Finally some one that listens and takes the time to discuss my issue!!!!!
I have been with this company for over 2 years now and have never had a problem.
ADSL has been really shocking in my area with speeds sometimes getting to 8mbps as im so far away from the exchange.
Best Telecom contacted me when the NBN was available and made my upgrade easy and simple to do.
They took care of everything and made sure even installing my modem and connecting my house phone into the modem was so well explained and i was walked through every step of the way.
My plan also dropped and im now saving more money aswell.
Even when i inquired about a charge on my bill they got back to me within a few days and fixed the problem.

Extremely happy customer experience
I have been a customer with Best Telecom for the last 4 years and have had various services. I have had extremely positive customer service unlike the best telcos such as Telstra, and Optus.
I have always found Best Telecom to come up with solutions and while they may be challenged from the aging infer structure that has been run to the ground by Telstra. They (BT) had always provide a reliable and honest customer service experience that has ensured that I continue to renew my contracts and increase my services.

Are many years with another company looking after my landline and internet, I got a phone call from some one there and after a very good comparison I decided to give them a shot!
BEST MOVE EVER!!
Not only do I have internet that it way faster than I received before but when I did have an issue I rung through to speak to some one after a horrible day of screaming kids and things breaking all round I as on hold for..... 2 minutes!!
2 minutes!!!! I can’t beleive how great it was! My quiries got answered so quickly and everything got explained so I could understand (I repel technology)!
Would never go back to my old telephone/internet company!
Highly recommend !!

Internet in Australia can be poor to say the least but with some changes and advice it doesn’t have to be. Not the Best provider!!
Not a happy customer, I did have it for over two years, the first year was a phone conversation contract but next year was not authorised but went ahead with it as I thought it was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. The service was terrible it was sometimes a nightmare, it ended up costing me a lot more due to being charged extra data on my phone plan as our home internet provided by Best Telecom was so slow and sometimes it didn’t work for days. t finished in January and my new provider was connected in March, now Best Telecom is charging me cancellation fees of $110 and I still need to pay the monthly fees till May, what a joke!!! They can accept a contract through by phone conversation but not accepting cancellation through phone conversation or emails. Does it only work one way??? One star rating is still way too many!! Finally an Australian customer service company
For the last 4 years I have had nothing but trouble getting any kind of reliable internet service. I live on the Gold Coast and cannot believe how in this modern day how bad the network is in Australia. Been with many other companies and when you need help, you can only speak to someone from overseas who just don't show any care.

vice so I didn't have to pay for a phone line I never ever used and they got me a stable service even though it was still slow. The friendly staff (who are here on the Gold Coast) explained why the service was the way it was which was never explained by anyone else before. Early this year they called me to say NBN was available and within 2 weeks I went from a download speed of 2.5 to 84.2!!!! And I am still paying less than I did when I had terrible phone line Internet. It's so good even my neighbours have jumped onboard and we all all getting awesome service, prices and can speak to an Aussie if there's any issues. I have never put up a review before but when I read some of the comments below, I reckon some people are blaming the bad network and old copper cabling on this company when the truth is that Australians have all had a bad service for many years because of Telstra and the government. The only thing I didn't like was one night I needed some help as I really needed my old internet working and they weren't available until the next day but again the staff were friendly and explained they are only a small group and helped me set up my mobile phone data if it happened again. I'm so happy I found you guys best telecom and I'm telling all my friends how good your service is. Keep up the great work and I'm happy to support a truly Australian company.1 comment

Best Telecom try Worst Telecom. Promise you the earth to get you to sign up then it ends there. Constant drop outs or non-existent ADSL Connection. Customer Service is disgusting. Best Telecom staff lie, argue, threaten, intimidate or totally ignore you, the customer that pays for a service that they can’t and don’t deliver. $59 per month for ADSL connection for 14 months that is so slow a tortoise could move faster. Upload speed is worse than download speeds. Have to use pre-paid Wifi devise to send emails with a single photo or attachment. NB...Read more
N not available at my address until late 2022. Best Telecom tells you to upgrade your plan but what they don’t tell you is you can’t reduce your plan until your contact expires. Customer Service/Support doesn’t exist once they have you signed up. They want you to pay online via their Bill Buddy dashboard but takes 24/48 hrs to process payment. Worst Telco I’ve ever dealt with. Best Telecom is a subsidiary of Telstra. Say no more. 14 months of anger, frustration and staff that lie. Same plan with other major Telco $120 per month less what Best Telecom charges. Do not sign up with this provider. Should change their name to Worst Telecom. Lodged complaint with TIO. This provider should be shut down. January 9th 2018 Update: Warning do not use this telco. If you have the misfortune in having to deal with any staff from Best or should I say Worst Telecom as I refer to in my review below, ensure you keep all conversations either voice recorded or via emails. I personally learnt the hard way that they will deny they have said something, eg returning phone calls, I have Caller ID so know their number if I have had a missed calls, they stated I didn’t have an answering machine so they couldn’t leave messages for me, I’ve always had an answering machine on my landline, given up how many times I’ve told to contact me only on my homeline, not my mob yet they still try to contact me on my Mob. The lies from their staff go on and on. I have also told them many times the best time to contact me is before 1pm. 4 days ago I received an email berating me like a small child for using only email correspondence, stating they want me to only contact them via their call centre, and by only stating I’m only available before 1pm, severally restricts them from contacting me via phone. My assumption is when I have their continual lies in writing, they don’t like being called out on them. Since I lodged an official complaint with TIO regarding Best or Worst Telecom, I was advised to keep everything in writing which I will continue to do. Again, harassment, intimidation, threats and bullying tactics from this Telco. Do not sign up with this telco. September 19th 2022 Update: Excellent Customer Service. Moving house is extremely stressful, but Customer Service, particularly Sergio, has been outstanding. Fantastic to have 100% Australian Provider to speak too with any queries. Please Do Not Approach This Company
We used Best Telecom as a recommendation through Bartercard. They charged our card $4k in advance for a service which we never agreed and has took us months to get a refund from them. We have sent emails however they block your IP Address and calls are never returned, Hence Customer Service is Non Existent!! This company will not be around for long so do not use.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy
Customer service is hopeless, the bills are always debited on varied days before the due date so you can't anticipate the charges, there's no response via emails and it takes weeks to get a simple exit fee out of them.

Liars and time wasters
I have had multiple run ins with this company. Tried to follow up discrepancies and then no responses which coincidently are then answered after my next invoice is to be billed. You get different stories depending on who you talk too and lied to on the phone just to get you off it. The absolute worst company i have ever had to deal with.

This company should be shut down
Very bad service. Staff was very rude and lied. They will charge you a lot for no reason. I'm unhappy with them. Normally I paid $39 per month with DODO for home phone but they charge me more then $180 every month. It's terrible!!!

Worst company ever
One month into our new phone system that was promised to be the bees knees we still have daily drop outs and are required to reset the system every morning . Their answer is to spend more money with them !

all the problems from Best Telecom were resolved, the clients own equipment was still causing issues and they acknowledged this. It was agreed to let them move to another provider and when the same issues were occurring, they asked if they could remain with Best Telecom however it was decided it was best to let them move on.Similar opinion? Worst Telco I've ever had dealings with
This company promise everything and deliver nothing. Then they charge like wounded bulls and treat you terribly when you try to leave to go to another provider. Save your time and your money and use anyone other than BT Group of Companies.
January 5th 2017 Update: BEST telecom are the WORST telco EVER - bully's and scammers
One month after a completed TIO complaint in which the TIO ruled in my favour and requested BEST withdraw their charges they send me ANOTHER bill. It took 3 months to resolve the last complaint and now I have to go through it again. The words useless, bullies, scammers, liars and theives come to mind when I think of this company. TIO should shut them down.

Great personal service
Being in business is never easy so much of your time is taken up with calls. Used to ring Telstra took ten calls to get the someone, and then five diversions. With BT I know the team they know my team. Thank you for the great service.
