Fun Little Coffee Maker
I was given this for christmas and only started using it when our pid machine packed up - I actually think it makes better coffee and its quite fast too once you get the hang of it. The secret in my opinion is to get the flame down really low and wait. I like the design too.

Good Coffee - Too Small Though
I got this thinking "four cups" meant you know, four cups but nope, they must be counting those tiny Italian espresso cups because I only get a cup and a half counting normal Australian cups. The coffee itself is really good and its a fun design, just wish I had gone up a couple of sizes.

I am the only coffee drinker in my house. So, when I was looking for a cheap and decent single serve coffee maker, my only option seemed to either get a Nespresso with an aeroccino or to walk down to Starbucks. The Nespresso is a nice machine and, along with the aeroccino, makes a pretty good cappuccino. Unfortunately, I could not justify the environmental impact of the single use pods.
Starbucks, they make a good latte as well but, it means I have to get dressed and actually talk to a stranger. I prefer to walk in my underwear to the kitchen, (don’t judge me, you have all been there!) make a cup of coffee and come back to bed.
This Mukka is perfect for me.

2. I grind my beans just before brewing. 3. I can choose between several type of milk. I prefer full fat milk as it froths the best. On special days, I will put a little Baileys in to the milk and it froths into a lovely heavenly delight. I have even been able to froth up soy and almond milk. This really is a genius device. 4. Clean up is easy. I never use soap but a good hard bristled brush to get into all the nooks and crannies. If I ever have an issue with “leakage”, I just make sure that I clean that section a little better and the issue is gone. Air dry. 5. Best of all: no environmental waste. No single use plastic/aluminum pods going to the dump. The little puck of used coffee from the Mukka goes into my composite. No expensive and big plastic steam blowing espresso machine sitting on my countertop. When not in use, it’s easily put away.

Disappointed with aluminium bottom
Was extremely happy when I received my Mukka cuppachino maker. Used it twice &I then cleaned, dried & packed away. Two months later I found the aluminium bottom had oxidised with white patches. I cleaned it off &I used it another 5 times while on holidays. The oxidation became worse so I'm not game to use it for health risk anymore so very disappointed.

Okay for lattes!
The cappucino is very milky - more like a latte. There is actually the same amount of milk used for both. The only difference is a bit less froth in the latte. If you love lattes and want to make them at home without the expense or bulkiness of a large machine then this is for you!
Designed for 1-2 people. Easy to clean.
Probably not for the true coffee connoisseurs but useful for an easy home latte.

feat alternative to an electric machine
I have had this little beauty in my possession for a few years now and it is my "go to" for a quick coffee, particularly while travelling and camping.
I like milk coffee, and more to the point, my wife LOVES milk coffee. This machine covers her needs off very nicely.

eam works better) in the top jug (again to the marked level) and then set it over a low-medium flame. (Don't forget to push the black button down to activate the "frothing" mode. Remember I said to be careful with the fill marks, here is where that pays off! Overfill and the milk will froth over the top and make an unholy mess.. In a little while, the coffee starts to make its way into the top jug, tinting the milk with caffeiney goodness. Then you hear the pop of the button and the hissing as the milk froths up... You may need to leave the pot on the flame a little longer to get the milk to your preferred temperature. A little practice will inform you on the heat source intensity you need for the temperature you like. All in all, a good product that serves when I cannot have a full size machine. Excellent
Being the only coffee drinker in the house and only one or two a day, I like a good quality coffee. While I couldn't justify hundreds of dollars for something used so seldom, for under two hundred dollars I get a good coffee that is better than some I have paid for, all in the comfort of my own home. Only takes about 5 min all up to set it up and brew. Very easy and quick to clean. ut it online but found it hard to get hold of in Brisbane. Taste at Newstead!! I am glad I bought it and I will be having many more coffees for many years to come. Easy to use and clean. Compact, well thought out design. Absolutely brilliant for me as I am the only person who drinks coffee in this house. Coffee tastes great and it even sounds like a 'real' coffee machine worth thousands!! Can only make one drink at a time, and is restricted to capps and lattes. Not a con for me but maybe for others.1 comment

This is an absolutely amazing and innovative little cappuccino maker. I've had a Delonghi Magnifica coffee machine for a year now and finally sold it, because I was so sick of having lukewarm coffee & having to froth up the milk separately. I had paid $1100 for it. automatically as soon as the water pressure inside the bottom chamber gets to the max. At the same time as frothing the milk, the espresso coffee mixes in with the milk & before you know it, you have a lovely hot cappuccino. I just love this little invention... sooo easy! Wow Pilar, you are a mess. When you pour milk into the milk chamber, theres is a mark all around that tells you how much to fill. You dont need the measuring cup.

love it love it love it easy to use although no sucsess with the low fat milk only wish it was bigger my husband and i have our regular afternoon cuppa but always looking for a bit more shame it wasnt a bigger unit.
