Love it

Love it. We live on a station with no outside lighting (street lamps) and I can get up an go to the ensuite without having to turn on a light at night. Also easy to set time and easy to see. Great value for money

Purchased in January 2021.

Useless due to brightness

published

The problem with this clock is the brightness. It’s far too bright, even on the dimmed setting. In a dark room you can see well enough where you are going without having to turn on your bedside lamp. Who the hell ok’d this for production ? I will return this tomorrow. Another let down from KMart.

4.5 stars really

3 light levels from the unit, although I can't tell any difference between the two brighter ones. Always leave it on the dimmest, and haven't had any problems seeing it.
Big Display as you would expect (or at least hope) form the name.
Radio stations come through well. Just a bit fiddly to program the preset stations, and then get back to them, as you have to scroll all the way through from lowest number to highest, so no easy way to get between 2 favorite stations, even if you only program 2 you still have to go all the way through (although only 10 per band, i.e. 10 FM and 10 AM which makes up their 20 presets).
Call it a 2 brightness display & put a button to go through the presets in the other direction and you'd have 5 stars.

Great value for money - a pleasure to use

This product is similar in design to the extremely disappointing and frustrating Philips AJ3232B clock radio. The speaker is only tiny, but it doesn't have the really annoying crackling sounds of the Philips when listening to AM radio. Also, the volume of the radio alarm can be set to any desired level, unlike the Philips which ramps up to full volume regardless of the level set by the user. It just does what most people would expect from a basic, low cost digital AM/FM clock radio, and it does it well. Thanks K-Mart!

Tune the radio to the station you want (radio on obviously) and hold the "SET" button until you see the display change to a P with a number after it (01 to 10). That is now set. Just push the "MEM" button to step through the stations you have programmed in. Think it always go through the whole 10 presets even if you only have 1 programmed.

I need to remove alarms completely. Do not need them. Instructions say to press Al1 orAl2 repeated until buzzer and radio symbols stop blinking. This does not work. I have tried this in standby mode but only effects volume. I have tried turning clock off completely then repeating but no go. My clock is Home & Co Dual Alarm Clock.
