Bad Customer Service
I bought a Combo HP 21 & 22 Cartridge, approx. 3 months ago. They worked for a short period of time, then they didn't print anymore. Both cartridges are almost full. They're still quite expensive (around $65). I went to the store (Marion, South Australia) were I've purchased the item, but they've (store manager - Nick Taylor) asked me for the receipt which I din't have. I've shown him the cartridges in the original package but he wouldn't help me. Then I've called Customer Care (1300 244 999) and I've got someone from New Zealand to help me....Read more

Poor service - will not allow exchange of unused shirt for better fitting size
My daughter brought a size M T-shirt for Xmas, its fit is too tight - Big W will not exchange for a size L, unless a itemised original receipt is produced which has been misplaced, they can't match a credit card slip transaction to it either unlike their competitors - I'm thinking of taking my business elsewhere & recommend others to do so as well via social media !

Pathetic!
I will never purchase an item from a Big W store again, online or physical. Ordered my item and then waited several days for it to be dispatched, to then receive an email saying they cannot provide the item, becasue it was unavailable when I purchased it, and they have cancelled my order. If it was unavailable when I purchased it, why was it showing as in stock on the site, and why did the online store let the purchase go through? Seriously, was your online store designed by a moron?
Absolutely pathetic business model, would give them minus stars if the option was available. Steer well clear of these cowboys.

NO STOCK RUDE STAFF
They attempted to charge a ridiculous delivery fee for a 10 dollar item, after the other 7 items were ALL OUT OF STOCK! Yet they're falsely advertising on eBay and on their website, that these items ARE IN STOCK! And when I called to sort this out, the rude staff would not listen, and kept talking over the top of me, and wouldn't cancel the order and give me my money back.

Delivery home service was terrible and unprofessional.
So disappointed with online order. I recommend you to not order anything from online website or choose delivery home. They’re so unprofessional for deliver your stuff and you still have to pick up parcel at post office. Even you order a big appliances online. And also they don’t take any responsibility when you ask for customer service.

Konka 10.1" Tablet - TE1011 xmas present gone bad
Not impressed with this item at all as it was given as a gift for xmas. Apart from trying to work out how to operate it and barely using it because we have been away it now seems to have locked the gift recipient out of his tablet completely after the tablet did some sort of update earlier tonight when the unit was turned on after being off for two days. s process has just left the gift recipient frustrated and makes my gift seem a joke. The manual that comes with this unit is next to useless with assisting and there seems to be no help platforms online to access to rectify this issue. One of the best department stores
Big W is now my go to department store. Used to be K-mart but I cant even sign up for an online account with them due to their stupid signup process. Plus Big W have a better range at competitive prices, with decent specials. Using AfterPay at Big W is a simple process. The staff are always friendly and helpful. One guy went to great lengths to locate the item I was looking for. Their website is also very good. Kudos to the buyer for T shirts, definitely the best prints and quality out of all the budget department stores.

I wasn't notified of my pick up time and called the Hasslegrove store. I was quite annoyed bybthis time and was very short with the young lady on the phone. Long story short, [name removed] at hasslegrove handled my serious attitude problem, found my order and still delivered outstanding customer service!

Online store Disaster Again. 3rd time
I ordered AGAIN from Big W Bonnyrigg for 3rd time round.
Receive confimation my order is being prepared.
I receive a call (again) from store advising me they dont have half of what is listed on my order.
THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS
I told lady to process whatever is available.
I receive a message to pick up order as its READY.
AGAIN i arrive to pickups, Queue of 20 people, understandable its xmas.
1 staff serving, 3 registers available.
After w asiting 54 minutes in queue i was advised my order isnt ready.

They dont listen, selling Konka tablet with malware, virus
So its proof Big W are more interested in money than your privacy or online safety. The Konka TE1011 tablet comes with inbuilt malware. Quite a nasty variant that can steal your info and send back to China. The malware cannot be removed and will cause your tablet to get hot and slow down. Big W were shown the problem yet continue to sell them compromising your personal info and google account. The malware can also download more malware. Perhaps they will listen when a law suit begins.They also wont print my review in the BigW page.

Without exception myself and friend we were throwin outside of the store in the car park on Boxing Day 26/12/2019 I have writing to the management of Big W nothing happens no reason for that I have bay TV in store Werribee Plaza Big W. I have got no TV I have rubbish in side of the box. I went to report to the police 2 times. Advise me to go in the store and asked for report And I was escorted by security as a criminal person with my friend no reason for that I have all relevant documents to support my clam. I continued to contact Big W managers CIO no response to me and I m push away as a customer no apology or compensation for what they did to me and to my friend in several times I have written letters but no responded to my letters.

Catholic celebration

Very disappointed with online form, whats a point to fill the form with person/billing address is different to receiver/delivery address when the receiver also has invoice with xmas Presents unit price????? Such ashamed when you dont want The receiver to know the value of presents!

I put a childs cart on layby in july and finished paying it off last week. After i paid they said it wasnt in stock but would let us know. Today we received a call saying they wont have it for christmas and did we want a refund or did we want to wait. Erm its for christmas?
Surely someone is responsible and we shouldve been told before 14 days to christmas?

After my own experience. I will never buy online with BIGW again. Ever!
There online delivery dept at (Highpoint West Melbourne) is managed by a buffoon. And the poor under trained staff have no idea how to package items properly. So many issues they will have to deal with, could be avoided if they had a manager with experience. Instead they probably have a manager with a useless Government University degree that means nothing. As you just cannot beat experience. And They don't teach experience in University! So the poor staff will continue to mess everything up until they have a good senior leader, which they are OBVIOUSLY MISSING.
ALSO: They don't insure high value items in the post. They don't use registered post. They will leave high value items at your door for anyone to steal.
They do not seal up packages properly so the packages can be opened and sealed again without any sign of damage. Complete amateurs.
So until BIGW delivery dept at highpoint west Melbourne get rid of the manager and make improvements. I will not be buying anything from them again.
I dont think the public will be able to address your specific issue.

a while ago I put a layby on for Christmas and because I haven't finished Christmas shopping Ive lost the original docket I have the one saying I have put money on it.
So my question is, is there a way to find out what I have put on my layby?

Big W is probably best to answer this . Call into the store at lay-bys as they should have a record of the lay-by and the amount owing and due date. Did they take your particulars when you put away the purchase? For me I like using Afterpay as its 4 payments over 8 weeks. The receipt you have should have a lay by / order number I think. Even give your store a call. Hope there is help amongst that info. Its only what I would do in this case.
Big W will have a record of your lay-by. I lost my receipt once and they found me by my name and sorted it out for me. Just contact them.

Funnily enough, 2 days later Big W has stock of the same item I wanted to purchase available at the full price instead of the sale price it was listed at when I made my purchase - I think I smell a rat! I have contacted the ACCC as well.
