There are scars on my forehead due to wrong stitches can bio oil help me???
3 answers
Hello Sahil,
I don't know about stitches,my problem was gravel rash and a large area that bled just under the skin,I have been using Bio Oil for 11 weeks now and the dark patch has reduced by more than half, worth a try, good luck!
Wouldn't think so! Dermatologist once advised me that Vitamin E was the only cream that would have any lasting effect on skin, but it would
take 12 months applying it daily. Find a good quality Vit E cream or oil.
No, however there are some other creams good for scars. But no cream will remove it's visibility completely. The best they can do is smooth out the skin so it's less noticible, but it will always be visible. Depending on the scar and whether there are any veins underneath, different creams apply. Ask your pharmacist and GP for advice on most suitable cream for you.

I have many scar, skin tones, dark circle, pimples on my face and my skin is so oily. Is the Bio Oil helpful?
2 answers
Every skin type is different so it may or may not work what I found out recently that baby oil works the same way to bio oil so bio oil is scented baby oil you could do a little research about it, it's interesting.
I know something that works best for pimples is to slice lemon and rub it on the skin and keep doing it until the pimples go away, to get rid of dark circles is to sleep a bit more and don't try to stay up late at night alot, drink plenty of water, exercise a bit more or walk every 25 minutes everyday and last but not least take a cotton ball and soak it in the potato juice. Close your eyes and place these cotton balls on your eyes. Make sure they cover the entire area of the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water.
I had all those problems your having right now but I fixed them by the remedies I'm listing for you but I it could be genetics or your skin may need some sort of treatment with the oily skin so when your face is oily it's telling you to eat a bit more healthy or maybe your using some sort of foundation that makes your skin react and it becomes oily the only way to stop oily skin is to drink plenty of water and walk daily bio oil isn't going to be that effective because I have friends and relatives that tell me it's all lies but it does work for some people so who knows but all those problems your having could be again as I said it could relate to genetics hopefully this helps with all honesty I had those exact same problems and those things I listed I done worked for me hopefully it works for you.
Btw bio oil didn't work for me.
Thank u so much.....

Hi! My son has recently cut his hand with an electric saw. He had the stitches out 2 days ago. Does anyone know if you can put bio oil on it now or does it have to completely heal first. There are a few scabs left but it is very dry.
2 answers
sorry to get back to you so late but just to make sure i would wait till the scab has healed a little more. Could be a couple of days
(just to make sure if any reaction occurs). I would put a little bit of antiseptic on it and let it heal on its own. After a couple of days so no scaring occurs i would add a drop on the scar morning and night for however long needed!
Hope this helped let me know how it goes!
Kourt
Thanks for that Kourt. Will try it now as scab has all come off and looking good. Its in such an inconvenient place but will keep up the bio oil.

My face and hands are very dry
Will it work?

Bio oil is mostly for scars, I'm sure it could work but there are much better alternatives. For example coconut oil works like a dream it gives you smooth and supple moisturised skin i recommend you use that over bio-oil.
heres a great website which i hope will help you!

I'm concerned about my unborn baby absorbing any nasties from this product. Has anyone looked into what's in the ingredients of bio oil?
1 answer
There is a review somewhere on here that something about parabens though all I know is that it says hypo allergenic on the package / if you are concerned you could try taking the bottle to the doctor and let them have a look at the ingredients and see if they are suitable for you or if you are extra concerned it might be better not to take the risk to try it

I used bio oil for the scars on my foot after surgery that I had 3 months ago
The results are great, the scars healed beautifully, I rubbed the oil in couple of times a day
Hope this helps
Cheers, Maria
You could try it if you like or you also try palmers cocoa butter formula formulated for stretch marks
Jasonasked
Is this oil good to us on the face everyday?
3 answers
No I wouldn't try to use bio oil on.your face
You might be able to use it your face if you really want to as it says hypo allergenic though as it is a greasy oil and not a cream there is a chance that the oil could get into your eyes therefore it's not really worth taking the risk
I love how my skin looks on my face now I think it is the best product out there!

But money was for toss... no improvement.. m very disappointed. Please guide me whether Bio Oil will really work to sort out my problems?

It can do no harm to try it. Buy the small bottle and give it a go. Don't expect instant results but good luck
hey,
Thank u Jen. Just for a concern is there any other ways that can come handy for my problem? If u do have plz suggest.
There no harm in trying it though be aware that it.might have harmful ingredients like the other poster stated
The 2 skin care products I have tried that are even better are invite vitamin e cream and Macarthur paw paw complete care skincare products though with Macarthur paw paw cream expect the problem to actually get worse before it gets better though it could be like that with other creams or oil
It sounds like you have a skin condition called psoriasis
Your skin is probably drying out as I have the same problems / my suggestion is that you try to stay away from most dairy products as you may be allergic to lactose / have you tried having cod liver oil capsules or any fish oil capsules / also that new capsules might help you as well though I can't remember the name of them @ actually it just checked the bottle container I usually have and it says wild krill oil capsules

Would Bio-Oil help fade a self inflicted scar? It's on my right thigh and it's faded to a pale purple-pink but when I go out in the sun or get a little bit of a tan where it is it shows up more. I know it would never really go away and Fromm hat the scar actually is I'm going to have to live with being a devils child for ever but I really need something to fade it, as I have been chosen for a photo shoot in a teen mag. Please help..and don't judge.
3 answers
hey there its impossible for Biooil to judge how a scar happens, and thats how it is for people too. Bio oil certainly made a scar i have more even -it heals the same for any scar. You have a scar and that makes you unique and if others ask its just a scar from ages ago, no explanation needed . Bio oil will heal the scar pretty well, but knowing its really nothing but a mark it doesn't define you will heal the most. Go get them at the photo shoot.
It sounds like you might even have a infection there / it might be better to see your local doctor
Also you could try putting vitamin e cream such as invite vitamin e cream as well as long as you wait an hour or 2 in between applications

Does Bio-oil help remove facial discolourations? I recently used Fair and White so white soap alongside the Fair and White Skin perfector cream and have discovered horrible looking dark circles under my eyes as well as discoloured patches around my face. The rest of my body is ok with just my face affected.
Will it work for me and without toning my face as it seems a bit lighter now than the rest of my body.
Thank you.
4 answers
I believe it probably would, considering the vitamin E, but I personally wouldn't as I have oily/pimply skin. If you have dry skin it would be great.
I've found that no matter where it's applied, the oil tends to rub off onto other areas of the body (especially overnight).
Thanks. I have dry skin and the product has worked so far. Excellent result!
No I wouldn't use bio oil on your face / my.suggestion is that you try invite vitamin e cream as I assure anyone it works wonders though it's not a cure

What are the negatives known while using bio oil ?

I don't have any issues with the oil.
Neither do I.
The ingredients shown on the bottle should be taken to the doctor and get the doctor to look at the ingredients to see if it would be suitable for your skin

Is bio oil ok for and does it work skin pigmentions? I have dark skin and getting white patches. Will it help go back to dark again?
3 answers
I found it did seem to even out my skin tone. But white patches sounds like a tropical rash i used to get in the tropics (quite common) and we had to use a cream calles selsun to cure it. Maybe check with the doctor. But you could always try bio oil and if it didnt work try the selsun :)
I would check with the Dr about that.
Yeah I agree with Sandra it's best to go to the doctor

Is bio oil suitable for a baby 12 months old and suffers from dry skin and mild contact dermatitis
2 answers
I would ask that of the manufacturer. Also look up buckthorn seed oil as that is a pretty amazing oil!!
You could try to use it though I have checked internet forum sites and most of them advise to use it on people 2 years or older
