Blanco won't own up to inherent defect
Well, I had same problem with this mixer. Bought mine in 2009. This problem had been known to have inherent defect from the look of things. Lousy thing is I purchased all Blanco for my new kitchen then because they claimed to be of marine grade. Not so, this one corroded hence the spout had that crack and Blanco won't budge claiming out of warranty. Didn't have much luck with their oven either, glass door shattered during initial conditioning. The Customer Service was very reasonable and really good with the oven but not with the tap ware! No more Blanco from now on!

Water sprays through crack in the spout.
The cast metal spout on the Blanco mixer has a moulding crack up near the nozzle, which allows water to spray out the side of the spout when under pressure. WEIRD!!!. This was installed by Coral Homes as part of the kit they provide from Harvey Norman Commercial almost 3 years ago
Poor manufacturing, where moulded spout has a crack in it.

Coral Homes installed this Blanco tap as part of their prestige package in our home.This tap has holes in the neck of the casing and water sprays out when in use. The warranty is still valid but we are still waiting for it to be fixed!
