When you apply this product. It is recommended to thin down the product for the first coat then lightly sand with 240 grit between each coat. 3 or 4 coats is recommended. Do NOT use any cleaning products to clean over the top of the product, use only water!, If you want something that you can use the cleaning products on, use the Monocel Int/Ext Clear Varnish. They are very similar in product. Main difference is that one you can you product on and the other water only to clean. Hope this helped .
Very Strong in durability
3-4 coats needed.

Hi. Can I use this Monocel Gold Marine Grade Satin on a copper table top, interior. Will it prevent tarnishing from oxidation ? I wish to polish the copper and maintain the shine.

I doubt that Ted, it's mainly for wood, but I've used it on painted wood surfaces with exelent results.

To start with you would have to polish your copper, that in itself would pose your problem of it adhering to it.
