Amazing stuff!

published

I Used Bondi sands Pure, unfortunately it turned me orange so I purchased the self tan eraser. The directions say it work best after 3 days but I couldn't wait because I'm not accustomed to looking like an umpa lumpa. I left the eraser on for about 5 mins and used a wash cloth to remove ot on the shower, the tan came off completely but I did have to exfoliate ankles and hands. Overall, this product is incredible if you don't have sensitive skin. I had no reactions, no burning and my skin feels insanely soft after. I've read other reviews about the smell being intense, I personally didn't even notice the smell, nothing is worse than the smell of actual tanner. 10/10 would buy again.

Causes skin irritation

published

I left the tan eraser on for 5 minutes as recommended.
It made my skin sticky and a slight burning to start.
It faded the tan slightly but I came up in bumps, and that night (so far 72 hrs) started burning, hot and itchy skin espeacially behind the knees so sore, purple rash ..not at all happy ..the itching is driving me insane, I do not recommended this product, infact staying away from tanning stuff all together, I've had to buy emollient cream to help with the dried out skin and irritation

Not the best, still handy.

published

This is no miracle worker but it is handy to have. This is best used when a tan is starting to lift and go patchy. Do not expect this to do much erasing on a fresh tan. To be fair..... the instructions do state a tan must be at least 3 days old. As far as some claims that it causes rashes or a reaction, thankfully I haven’t had that problem. But also I don’t normally have sensitive skin just for reference.

If I could give it a 0 I would

This is the worst product!
I should have known better as I’ve used Bondi sands sunscreen before and had a similar issue.
I actually only put this (which literally smells of ammonia) on my skin for a minute, used a warm cloth to remove tan as suggested and it has left me with the most insane burn and rash. It’s absolutely awful. The burn has still not gone away and it’s been 12 hours already. God knows what they put in this horrendous product. Bleach I assume!?
Won’t go near their products ever again.

If I could give this 0 stars I would

my wedding is 30 Dec so had some left over fake tan on for Xmas. Did a test patch 2 weeks before was fine. Used this on the 28th Dec as suggested by a few friends. Left on for 5 mins and took straight with a towel in the shower as instructions. My skin is now burned and bright red and burning hot. My wedding is in two days and now I look like a burnt lobster and can’t tan again because this has burnt my skin.
I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. Why did the test come up clear but when used on my whole body it reacted? I’m going to look disgusting on my wedding and have been crying non stop. Who needs and expensive photographer when you look ridiculous. Cheers bondi sands.

Caused a burning sensation

published

I actually love Bondi sands tanning products but this tan eraser was a nightmare! I used it as directed on the bottle and after 2 minutes I felt a burning sensation on my skin and hands. I immediately stopped use and have emailed them

Chemical burns

published

I used this tan eraser as directed. Yes it did help remove some of the tan however I am left with terrible chemical burns on my hands. I do not have sensitive skin. There is no mention of using gloves on the label but I don’t see how anyone could use this product without them.

Waste of money

published

I don't like giving brands bad reviews especially because I love Bondi Sands tanning products, but this would be one of the worst. I have sensitive skin and the self tan eraser recommends to leave on up to 5 minuets. I had the tan on for 1 minute and my skin started to burn (warm tingling feeling), and had to remove it straight away. It also applied really odd like it's not like a shower gel or body wash it tends to dry on your skin very quickly. I tried taking my tan off with an exfoliating mit but didn't work.

So easy to use

published

It took less than 5 minutes to apply the tan eraser it didn’t irritate my skin at all and it worked beautifully to remove the tan. I usually try to keep my skin moisturised a day or two before so it removes the tan easily and I haven no problems with it being patchy

Horrible stuff don’t go near it

published

The stuff goes on as foam and turns sticky - it has a horrible smell and actually stings! I don’t have sensitive skin. I had applied my Bondi sands foam 5 weeks earlier, had scrubbed it and it was still filling in my pores with brown dots, awful! I was hoping this would get the last off so I could apply a fresh tan (I’ve thrown out crap as it is so bad) I left it on for 30 mins and nope NOTHING came off. I even used a scrub mit after! I went to apply tan the next day and it got stuck on the old tan. I was so disappointed. You’d think after 5 weeks it would be ok to tan again. Never using Bondi sands again.

Doesn't work and gave me a rash

published

This product was so hyped up and when I used it, it was a foam the first pump but after that it was just sticky liquid. The product didn't remove my tan and I still had to scrub very intensely (as I did without it) to remove my tan. I had a nasty rash after using this product aswell. Would not recommend at all!

Didn’t work for me :(

published

Unfortunately this product didn’t work for me. I used exactly as directed and even left on for a bit longer than the minimum requirement of 5-minutes. I scrubbed it off in a warm shower and focused on the stubborn areas like the knees, elbows and feet but was still left with tan on me and possibly even patchier than before I used it. I also research the ingredients after using and was slightly horrified. I think I will stick to a more natural body scrub now to rid myself of old fake tan. I feel I wasted my money big time on this :(
