Well made

Sturdy, quality paint finish that doesn't emit VOC smells for weeks like other nursery furniture I have bought (I have the white). The wheels move easily for me over short carpet - maybe they have improved them in the last couple of years? It is also labelled on the box and paperwork as Boori Universal Bassinet, looks identical to the Boori Urbane and there was Urbane branding on the instruction manual. I mention this as the Urbane is recommended by Choice, I was looking for one of those and purchased the Waratah ('exclusive' to Babies R Us) instead as it was the same but on sale.

Good bassinet, terrible wheels

published

I loved this bassinet, and bought it even though the colour I wanted wasn't in stock. However after three months of use three wheels have broken and boori aren't interested unless I can find the receipt. I can pay $40 for a new set if I want though. The wheels are cheap and nasty in comparison to the rest of the bassinet, which I chose as it looked sturdy. Bad form Boori, terrible service for a premium product, and disappointing that the wheels were so bad to start off with.

Absolutely love this bassinet!!

We initially bought the first years 3 in 1 carry near me bassinet,,Once we started using we realized how lumpy the mattress is and the sides are thickly padded!! On Day three after we came home from the hospital, my husband went and bought the boori bassinet !, I have been able to sleep better since then!! The mesh allows fantastic ventilation !! I found it easy to move it to other rooms as well!! It doesn't have all the " fancy" features like the first years bassinet however it is far more sturdy and reliable than the other one!!

Looks good and does the job

published

It is easy to put together. Hard foam mattress. I like this bassinet, I think it is good for what I paid for. The only problem I have with it is the wheels are not the best and it is a little difficult moving it around on wooden floors. Bought new wheels from Bunnings, now it moves smoothly.
Looks good, easy to keep clean, inexpensive
Wheels don't roll properly

Does anyone know if the Boori Waratah bassinet it a relabel of the Boori Urbane bassinet?

It definitely seems so. It is the Universal bassinet on the box (listed under Urbane on the Boori website) and the instructions that came with my Waratah have the Urbane branding on them also.
