Best Bassinet!! Absolutely love our purchase
Love the Grotime Patsy Cradle! We have this in white and it is such a fantastic product. Baby is still sleeping in it comfortably at 5 months and it’s so easy to move around the house.
Only downfall was securing the mesh when putting it together and instructions seemed to miss this part all together.
Purchased in January 2021 at Baby Kingdom for A$260.00.

Service at an old fashioned level!!! Brilliant
We loved our Patsy used for our second child, and alas lost the mattress and mesh liner through a series of circumstances. Grotime have been nothing short of fantastic in accommodating the replacement - going beyond and above knowing our next bundle arrives in two weeks! They understood our needs and have done everything to assist.
Thank you !

Great little bassinet
We bought this for our first daughter and I love that you can move it around! It was a bit of a pain to put together with the Velcro etc but we dont have the issues of it falling down. We just found our daughter had to move into her cot around 5 months as she became too tall for it, if it was a bit longer and they could get more use out of it would be my only issue ☺️

Love it.
SIDS safe. Looks great. Issues mentioned in other reviews appear to be resolved. Velcro still firmly attached after 5 months use (I notice it is also stapled) and wheels have a supporting bracket which screws to base of leg. Very study. I move it around house several times a day.

Great product
The patsy bassinet is fantastic. The mesh is great in keeping your baby safe. My little one likes to face the mesh and rest his head against it. Nice to know he can still breath. The rack underneath is great to store his nappies on. The only downfall I have with it, is I got the wrong colour. I like the dark brown wood look, but got white to match the cot and change table I got secondhand from my mum. Haha

Like this bassinet
I loved this bassinet because it had mesh paneling (in case the baby rolled to the sides in her sleep, she was unlikely to suffocate) and I loved the wheels as we could move her from room to room with us.
I did have an issue with one of the side panels falling down, however Grotime replaced the bassinet without any hassles (I was still within the warranty period).
The bassinet has a nice firm mattress so there is a reduced SIDS risk.

4kg 2 week old son to Heavy for Velcro
I was putting my son down to sleep when the Velcro just completely let go dropping him. Lucky I was quick enough to soften the fall.
He is less than half the weight recommended at 4kg and only been using it for less than 2 weeks.
Bought this product new and find this completely unacceptable.
Storage tray great underneath
How can velcro be a safe securing mechanism. Wheels dont attach so can come off

Patsy Grotime Bassinet
Easy to put together, great to use, don't move it around too much. We have thick carpet and I moved the bassinet two times before the wheels broke off. We used it in line with the Grotime recommendations and they refused to replace the broken legs. The bassinet was 3 days old and I was moving it gently. Very unhappy with the service from the retailer and manufacturer. Great bassinet if you don't need to move it around very often or have a hard surface throughout your house. Wouldn't recommend if needing to move it a lot from carpet to hard s...Read more
urfaces or reverse. My husband made made and fixed brackets to the legs of the bassinet to strengthen it enough to be able to be moved regularly. Disappointed but aside from this product worked well. Breathable and comfortable for a newborn to 4 - 6 month old. Timber surrounding where wheels are inserted is only around 3mm thick and therefore easily broken if moving over plush carpet or between rooms.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great bassinet
I won this bassinet and have so far used it daily for my four month old. It's a really good size, simple look, breathable mesh sides and easy to move in between rooms. Good storage shelf underneath and you can move it back and forwards to rock bub to sleep.
Only negative is that the wheels aren't locked in so they sometimes come off when moving bassinet around.
All in all a lovely sleeping place for a newborn.
Simple, stylish, easy to use, portable
Wheels come off sometimes when moving around

Looks great but disappointed
I bought this bassinet in June 2012 two mths prior to birth of baby. And loved the style, simple with clean lines. Not long after we started using it the Velcro ends that attach the short end of the bassinet basket to the frame started to come away because the adhesive stopped sticking. It seemed that with only a light weight (the weight of a newborn) the adhesive couldn't withstand the strain and failed leaving a big gaping area at each end of the bassinet. I kept trying to fix it and when that didn't work, I replaced the Velcro but not long...Read more
after the same thing happened again. I checked the Grotime website to make sure that my baby (who was obviously growing this whole time) wasn't over some specified weight limit but I found that in both the hardcopy Patsy manual that came with the product and in the product specs online there is no mention of an upper weight limit. The whole situation didn't seem very safe so around this time I ended up having to buy a cot for my baby to sleep in. But I contacted Grotime to enquire about what the product upper weight limit is and also complain about what I think is a design fault with the bassinet. To their credit they got back to me very quickly asking me to send photos of the problem and informing me that the upper weight limit is 9kg and that they would be updating their website (that was February and it's now October and it's still not updated with what I consider to be fairly crucial safety information). Anyway there was a delay in me getting the photos to them (completely my fault as I was preoccupied with a family crisis) but the customer support's only suggestion was to replace the Velcro (yet again!!) with no acknowledgement of my trouble, the potential for it to be a design fault nor the obvious safety issues. I'm not that impressed with either the bassinet or the customer service. I should note here that the warranty information in the manual makes it clear that the product is covered from 60 months from date of purchase but that they are only liable to replace part/s that appear defective - so I guess no matter how many times the Velcro fails and creates what I consider a safety issue to babies they'll only ever replace the Velcro !! Not really good enough Grotime!! That said, it is a very nice looking bassinet, the shelf below is handy and the rail at the end is good and my baby didn't complain about comfort - but given the price ($269.00 retail), the safety issues with this design fault (at least that's what I'd call it) and the customer service which doesn't quite get it... I'd consider a different bassinet next time. I like the simple stylish lines, bottom shelf was handy as was end rail Either poor quality or poor design as it came apart / broke not long after we started using it, too expensive considering the problems, customer service could have been a bit more generous or understanding, particularly of the safety issues.1 comment
Correction - the other suggestion from the Grotime Customer Support was to replace the Velcro (again!) AND to staple it on after I stick it there. Like I have a industrial hardware stapler sitting ar... Read more
ound waiting to correct poorly designed baby furniture!! If this is the solution, perhaps the company could change their manufacturing to include the stapling before we buy it!!??Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
