Saw OK, but support in NZ is nil

    published

This saw is surprisingly powerful and i can get a lot of work out of it even with the basic 2.4 AH battery. As the other reviewer notes, the most annoying thing with this is that the blade tightening knob has no locking mechanism and it loosens easily and needs regular tightening. It seems to clog with grass etc if you get near the ground a lot more than a petrol saw as well.
Most annoying in NZ is the lack of support from Bosch. They don't stock basic spares such as replacement chain which is not available as a generic alternative either, and it takes 2 months to get stock into the country at price 4 x that of UK. Thankfully Amazon UK can help deliver in a week or two.
