As others have said it’s like a hot knife through butter. Out of the box I used it to rip through about 100lm of 19mm merbau. Easy as. Dust extraction is good & makes it easy to see where you’re going. It’s pretty heavy but ok once you get used to it. Great saw.

This is the 7th circular saw I've owned, I put a Bosch Speedline Wood 20 tooth Blade on it .. the 50x200 treated logs I had were wet stodgy ones, it cut through 3 metre lengths with great ease, the cuts were very clean and smooth & the chip ejection system and blower function for a dust free cutting surface really worked.
As said before, it did cut like a hot knife through butter!

The only negative thing I can think about with this saw is how heavy it is, but once you get past that, it's excellent. Bosch Professional offer a 3 year warranty if you register online, and using the tool, it's easy to see why they are confident in their product. It's sturdy, balanced, and just feels that much better than other circular saws. I have used it to cut through 50x200mm treated pine sleepers and it doesn't come close to struggling. All controls are easy to access and the tool itself is comfortable and ergonomic.
