Regards, BoschHomeAuMy Bosch Maxx 1000 has been going with minor repairs now for 10 years. Suddenly it started tripping out the power about 8 mins into the cycle. Resistance tests on heating element and thermistor show acceptable readings.
Works fine on cold wash cycles.
If I restore power after it trips and change to a cold cycle, it works right through correctly. Same goes if I then switch back to the heated program, so long as no heating is required.
What's the solution?

I have had this Bosch washing machine for 7 years, it went all well until recently I found I have to clean/drain the filter (right bottom when you are facing the washing machine) after every use, otherwise it doesn't spin properly (it still spins but clothes still quite wet). Everytime when I drain the filter, there is massive amount of water come out. What could be the problem? I'd like to check if repair for this problem costs a lot then I might just go get a new one.
Thanks!
Cynthia

Read more I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. It is very quiet, I actually thought there was something wring with it as I have never in all my years owning a washing machine heard a sound like this and as its placed in our open plan kitchen/ lounge that is a huge bonus. Read moree replaced an that this was not economical. This problem is reported extensively by other unhappy purchasers. The other annoying thing about the machine was that all of the graphic labels on the front started to rub off less than a year after installation. The repair guy suggested a Bosch or an LG 'as at least they are made to be repaired' - not sure how accurate this is.
