Can you open the door once the wash has started to add a sock that you dropped along the way?

Thanks for your question regarding the Bosch WAW28440AU.
As per page 40 of your user manual it is possible as long as the water level or temperature is not too high. The appliance door won't be able to open if it is unsafe.

Thanks for your question regarding the Bosch WAW28440AU.
Page 31 of you user manual has the instructions. You want the Rinse / Spin function. The Rinse Plus button is set by default for this program. If you require a spin cycle only, press the button to deactivate the function.

The manual mentions pre-wash options, e.g. for the cotton programme, but when selecting this programme, the machine appears to take in both soap 1 and 2, and then goes straight to wash.



This model does not have a pre-wash button on the front plate. How do I activate pre-wash?

The prewash option is not available for your model. Unfortunately the user manual does show information that is related to other models.
