Ok
I think this does work a little but it has a really strong artificial smell that turns both me and my baby off. Baby usually spits out half of it and for the effort it takes for baby to take it i dont really think its one of the best out there. Infants Friend worked better for us.
Works a bit
Strong smell, available most chemists

Finally some quiet
My poor little 8 week old has been screaming since birth. Numerous paediatrician visits and working out he has lactose allergy and bad reflux. We tried Bowen treatments which worked, but not for long. Tried a natropath and we were giving separate doses of the same ingredients that I found in the colic relief. I am not sure if it is coincidence or the brauers, but finally, today my boy is able to sleep pain free and he is relaxed. He has only been sleeping on average 10 hours out of every 24, so he (and all of us) are exhausted. I am persisting ...Read more
with breast feeding and expressing and treating the milk with lacteese drops to convert the lactose sugars so he can digest it. Even with converting the milk he was still very troubled. Hence why i tried to colic relief today. It truly is a saviour and I am so happy I found it. I have used the teething relief with my eldest and it is just as good. I can highly recommend this product. It is all natural and not a drug! I have found all Brauer products to be of a high quality and what they claim to be able to do is true. quick and easy to administer. fast result

Love, love, love it!
I've used Brauer Colic Relief for both of my children. My son whos now 2 1/2 had bad wind pains/colic for months and months and this product was the only thing that would give him relief, I now use it for my newborn daughter. This stuff is amazing and I recomend it to any of my friends that have children with bad wind pains.
Reliable, fast, easy to give to babys

Relieved mum
After a night wondering if I was up to continuing breast feeding as every time I fed my baby boy (4weeks old) he would scream at me! Im not a first time mum and I have breast fed my first so it pained me that that's what I was thinking but having a little one scream at you for hours in pain is heartbreaking! Went to chemist today as I dawned on me it was probably colic, my husband and I opted for brauer colic relief as we have used other brauer products and found them great but this one worked so fast my boy had a huge feed immediately brought ...Read more

It does work
After using Infacol on our two week old for nearly one week and seeing no improvement, we decided to use Brauer Colic Relief. It was amazing to see such a quick change after the initial doses.
As one of the reviewers above noted, this may be considered as 'sugar water', however it works.

luted or de-concentrated and then vigorously shaken, traditionally referred to as succussion. This process transforms the original substance into a therapeutically active medicine. Many, new to homeopathy, mistake potency or dilution with strength. There is actually no correlation between potency and the strength of a homeopathic medicine. A homeopathic medicine at 30C potency is not stronger than the same medicine at 6C or 3C. The difference is in their action. While a 6C potency is better suited for a local symptom, a 30C or higher potency is more appropriate for general conditions such as allergy, stress or sleep disorders. Starts working within the first day, provided better relief than InfacolSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Brauer Colic Relief
My second baby showed signs of colic at 4 weeks - my first had it terribly - would scream for 4 hours straight every night. We had used another brand which wasn't very effective in the past. I was in the chemist today and a mother behind me actually advised me to buy this product and why - it had also been recommended to her by their pediatrician. At first I though, here we go, everyones an expert - but figuring I had nothing to lose purchased it. Thank goodness I did. What a brilliant product.
The first dose took about 20 mins to work and ...Read more
I gave a second dose half and hour later as advised. Bub was so peaceful and it was so heartwarming for me to see her feed without being in such terrible pain. She was able to pass wind easily and drifted off to sleep when finished. I just had to review this product so that other parents out there looking for advice can read that it really does work! Works brilliantlySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Natural is Best
Active ingredients are given as homeopathic dilutions as follows:
Bryonia 30C, Chamomilla 6C, Colocynthis 6C, Mag. phos. 6C.
"C" means a 1 in 100 dilution (see [1]).
More than 1 C means that the dilution process was repeated, so that a 6C concentration represents 1 part in 10,000,000,000 (10 billion). A 30C concentration would be represented by 1 part in 10^60 (a 1 followed by 60 zeros, equivalent to a million billion billion billion billion billion billion). ient remains in the product. I know many users of this product have seen it in action and know that it DOES help in certain cases. This is almost certainly caused by the added sugar, which is well known to provide some pain relief to infants. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying to relieve their child's pain and discomfort, and I certainly don't want to discourage anyone from exploring natural methods. However, in this case Brauer is capitalizing on parents who don't have the time to read the ingredient labels and understand what they mean (who does, when you're at your wit's end, having tried everything and Annie is still screaming?). They are manufacturing and marketing what is essentially sugar water and listing a few token "active" ingredients (at ridiculously low concentrations) so consumers don't realize they can save some money by making it themselves.Similar opinion? Excellent
I recommend these drops to all new moms. I get anxious if i don't have any in the house, as you just never know when something will upset their tummy and this fixes it (albeit, it may take a few doses to keep things under control). The whole family can get sleep with these around! Can't recommend highly enough!
This product has saved my life (and my daughter's) time and time again. She was a windy baby and she could go from being in so much pain, and after these drops she'd be able to pass the wind (heehee- i could hear her!) and she wouldn't be uncomfortable anymore.

Great natural option
I first heard about this product from our pediatrician and so went in search of it. My little one had reflux (undiagnosed when I began using this product) so had very bad collic/ wind as the two go hand in hand. When you see them withering in pain it was good to be able to administer a homeopathic medicine that was free from nasty chemicals. To add to a newborn parent's nightmare I was so tired I gave bubs double the dose. After a tearful call to the poison hotline I was reassured that this medicine is very safe and wouldn't harm my baby regard...Read more
less of the dose. I can look back and laugh now but at the time I was never so relieved to have chosen an all natural product. As for its effectiveness I would say that it takes 10 minutes or so to work. Bubs always calmed and went to sleep after. Later whatever was in there was moved along by this oily concoction and gave bubs a good clean out! Easy to administer, great dropper, tasted ok, great shelf life Can be hard to find which is a shameSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A natural option that really works!
I dint usually review things but in this case i just had to let other parents know that effective relief exists! When our little lady developed bad wind at 5 weeks - we tried all the usual methods and medicineswe could to help her with little success. No one was getting any sleep - my baby was exhausted and I was heart broken to not be able to soothe her pain. Then I came across brauer colic relief and have not looked back! It works for her immediately without additional half hourly doses. Perhaps the initial effect is from the sweet taste but ...Read more
the evidence that there is more too it than that is in how quickly and easily she then passes massive amounts of wind and goes on to sleep for 5 hours at a time! Thank goodness there is someone out there making homeopathics so easily available. We are very happy with this product! Fast, natural relief - it's priceless.Similar opinion? Good
Wonderful product that has helped at times with our daughters colic. I like the fact that there is a natural option to try before resort to anything else. 9 times out of 10 this works for us.
Easy to administer, great tasting (we have never had a face screwed up at this product). I love the fact that it is a natural product that I can try before we resort to anything else.
No real cons but it can take a while to kick in - I generally do the first doses quite close together as instructed as this helps.

This product seems a bit expensive but for the releif it gives little baby its well worth its weight in gold in my opinion. This can be given to young bubs to help alleviate their little tummy cramps and pains. Works wonders and very quickly to give bub and parents some releif.
natural
bit expensive

Great, effective product
I've used this with all my kids when they begin to show signs of colic. It's very effective and probably the only colic relief product that actually does anything. One point to keep in mind though is that sometimes babies are going to cry, no matter what you give them. This product will work only when you are dealing with a 'colicy' baby, so the first thing to work out is - is this is your problem..?
Effective, easy to administer
Slightly expensive

colic relief
My 1month old baby has been having reflux and is colicky. I started giving her brauer colic relief drop last night and I can tell she's not been in as much agony as before. She still cries and suffers from wind but not as bad as before.
fast relief

Bad
Overall, i liked the idea that it was a natural product and was easily given to our daughter due to the nice tasting flavour, however it did not relieve her symptons at all. It was fairly cheap to buy but i have only seen the product available at the chemist so far.
This product was easy to give to our baby when she was suffering from colic as it wasn't bad tasting and we felt good given our daughter something nautural instead of medications.
It didn't help our daughter at all and she still suffered badly with colic after taking this colic relief.

Tried a couple of other colic relief brands and found this one to be the best for our daughter. She suffered terrible wind and found this product helped her bring it up easier and pain-free. Great price and taste. Daughter loves the sweet taste and happy to suck the dropper dry.
great price and natural product

Bad
This is a nice, inexpensive product to buy. Unfortunately though, it just didn't work for our baby. We loved the idea that it would be so simple to help bub when she was in so much pain. But it did not relieve any of the pain or the wind. Nice effort though as it smells good and doesn't seem to taste too bad.
I like the idea behind this product. The idea that someone this inexpensive and gentle can help babies with colic sounds really good.
Did not work. When our baby was very young she had terrible colic. We tried so many different products, including this one. It just didn't work. Didn't relieve the pain or the gases.

Works well, natural

Hi just wondering proper dose for 5 week old baby, comflicting doses on box and your website some say 1ml some .5ml also is it best to give before a feed or after?thanks

I am a first time mum with an 8 week old baby suffering with colic / wind and desperate to help him! He usually starts his crying in the morning after we get out of bed, and lasts pretty much on and off all day until late afternoon/night (I’m talkind a proper windy, painful cry! Often inconsolable) Today I have been trialing infants friend - 1 dose before each feed and so far it seems to really help and brings up some wind, but not totally.
I Want to help “prevent” that wind pain and help him avoid it altogether rather than treat it once it’s already there.
Tomorrow I will start trying out brauer to compare to infants friend. The instructions say to give every half hour for up to 4 doses until symptoms abate - so this sounds like you use it after the baby already has symptoms .
Can anyone tell me - if I give him a dose first thing in the morning before his feed will it help, or each time I feed? Or should I just give him 1 dose and see how he goes.. before starting the half hourly doses?
Please any advice / info is appreciated!

Can you give brauer colic with infants friend? I gave him IF last feed but he is still upset and in pain 2 hours later

I have done that before because infants friend only worked once for my daughter & then I switched to brauers. brauers is natural so he should be okay.
Thank you!
