    The best

    published

This was a housewarming gift. It is the best iron I have ever used. It irons perfectly especially with the steam. It can also be used as a clothes steamer. Which is great. It holds a good amount of water so no need to fill up water before every iron. It easy to use and my husband likes it too. It works great on thin and thick fabrics.

    Not very good

Heats up quickly but other than that my old Tefal was way better. This doesn't get creases out of linen very well and it leaks water spots al over whatever you are ironing. I tried their trouble shooting suggestions but it continued to leak. Took it back thinking it must be faulty but the replacement does the same. Will be returning it.

    DISAPPOINTED....Carestyle 3

This ironing system was great for ironing light weight fabrics, but curtains and jeans and thicker shirts were left with wrinkles.
Took it back to DJ’s for refund. It was heavy and bulky. My $69 iron was better at taking out wrinkles than Carestyle 3 at $499.00.
Was happy with the 100 day return policy.

Stem Generators have come a long way

Previously had an early model Russel Hobbs that had some problems. I would never go back to basic ironing. The Steam generators are so much faster and better. I finally bought an upgrade six months ago.
The Braun Carestyle has all of the advantages and has designed out most of the problems with some of the early ones of these.
It is super reliable, easy to operate (plug it in and push one button) well designed iron that even irons backwards. The water reservoir is large and lasts for ages and it easy to pull out and fill like a jug.
This is an excellent product and I would definitely buy again. I

We have a Brawn Care Style 3. It has only been used for short periods one or two times a week. It now needs decalcing but the decalcing will not open and seems stuck in the closed position. Is there an easy way to decalcify the water without taking a hammer to use. perhaps there is some chemical which might make opening the decalcifier easy?
