Support is awful, bowl too big, blade housing is cracking
Multiquick 7 MQ775Asked support 9 days ago - no response. Issue is blade housing cracking. I am concerned that if it cracks the result could be dangerous. I agree with others the bowl is too big. To blend drier ingredients that include say butter, the ingredients stick to the side. Otherwise a good machine. It does not get a lot of use.
Warranty isn't worth the paper its printed on!
Multiquick 7 MQ775Your warranty is horrible! I purchased a new MultiQuick 7 blender (fancy one) and it malfunctioned the first time using it!
Your service centre said warranty wont cover it. They can repair it for the amount of a new one. This is a new one, and its junk!
Perfect
Multiquick 7 MQ775I love this machine. I don't cook enough to justify a big food processor but needed something to chop veggies, grate cheese and carrots, mash potatoes, puree soup etc. This is the perfect gadget for me. Easy to assemble and clean, works well and the bowl is a good size for our family of 5. I only rarely have to process food in more than one batch. Highly recommend.
Worthwhile Purchase
Multiquick 7 MQ775I bought this unit over 6 months ago on 22 June 2015 as a "temporary" because I had packed away my other trusty old (>12 years old) Braun stick blender and its attachments, FOOLISHLY trusting the renovation would only take a few months .. but that's another story.
How does this new Braun compare to the 12 year old Braun?
Though it's an excellent stick blender, overall it's only slightly better as a stick blender. It's certainly quieter and there's better speed control, but it does the job pretty much the same. I'm not personally a fan o
... Read moref the new "safety" feature where you need to press two things at once to get it going .. I find it cumbersome. Perhaps this product isn't so great for people with less dexterity / coordination (me included). Where this product really shines though is food processing (i.e. with the processing bowl and attachments) .. especially chopping. In fact, it's so good (so even, so quick) that I haven't used the Breville food processor since it came along. And it's lighter and easier to clean up too. Though the bowl isn't quite as big as the Breville's, it's large enough for 90% of the time. Where this product isn't as good as the old Braun is processing small quantities (E.g. Chopping just one onion). The old Braun came with a smaller bowl so it handled this better.Find out how Braun Multiquick 7 MQ775 compares to other Stick Blenders / Mixers
Know better, choose better.
Very useful appliance
Multiquick 7 MQ775I use this appliance every day. Very easy to use and clean. It has taken the place of my upright blender and my "on the go" blender. Love that it is cordless. Highly recommended.
Happy with purchase
Multiquick 7 MQ775Owned for 3 weeks, working well so far.
Couple of annoying things:
-Safety switch makes it a little accord to operate.
-Motor can only be run for up to 1 minute at a time to avoid overheating, usually not an issue except it can't knead dough for long period of time. It does though work well for bringing dough together and initial kneading saving a lot of time
Otherwise works well and would purchase again
Questions & Answers
Is the food processor attachment good for blending, or do I have to buy the blending/ice crushing attachment?
Hi the stick mixer attachment is good for blending, shakes smoothies etc . The blades are not meant to crush ice. Ice crushing blades are seperate and dont come with this model.
