    Excellent!

    published

I am on my 2nd one now. First one I bought was around 2oo3. They last forever if you stick to the manual. The last one was a present . Abolutely love it. I use mainly 4 beetroot, 5 smallish apple, 4 oranges, 5 big carrots, 3 to 5 sellery sticks, half lemon and a small piece of ginger. It gives me 2 litres of juice. (Great recovery stuff) Which you can keep in the fridge for a week. The pulp of orange and carrot I use in cake. Also apple and beetroot in cake. It is a real easy to clean and machine to use! The only thing you really have to pay extra attention.to, is the basket. by making sure that it is totally clean (by using brush provided) otherwise it won't collect as much juice. To me worth every penny. Fab product.

    Don't waste your money

    published

Not a good juicer. It yields very little juice, and the pulp stays very mushy and wet after it goes into the waste receptacle. As well, much of the fruit and veg stays in large chunks after juicing, which is a waste of money and effort. And leafy greens barely get processed through it at all. It is a very frustrating machine to work with, as even at its slowest setting, the fruit and vegetables sometimes fly back up out of the chute. You would be much better off purchasing a slow juicer, even at a more expensive price. You are more likely to get your money's worth and most importantly, you will get many more health benefits out of juicing than you would get from using this machine.

    Great Juicer!

    published

I've only had this for a few months but I absolutely love it. I decided on this model as I've purchased this previously for my mother 3 years ago and hers is still going strong! I was debating whether or not to purchase this because I also own the nutribullet. The main reason I decided to purchase was its ability to remove pulp. Although the pulp is good for you, I personally prefer to drink juices without the pulp; i take the view that it's better to drink some juice, than not at all.

The machine would be considered loud, however it doesn't bother me at all. The only downside is the cleaning. There's different components that needs to be wash which is a huge hassle when in a rush, or simply feeling lazy.

I have had this less than a year and I don't have the receipt. It worked well for a while but now each jug of juice needs to be strained. Basically makes baby food now despite meticulous cleaning. Going to buy another juicer today. I'm going to try the froojie, I'll keep the receipt this time for sure.

Great machine especially if you get it for a good price!

    published

I bought my Breville juice fountain second hand, I think it was $50 and it was as new. I have had it for about 10 months now and am super happy. It does the job great and I dont find it particularly hard to clean at all. I use a freezer bag in the pulp container to contain the rubbish which then goes straight into my worm farm. The other parts really just need a rinse and every now and then I put them in the dishwasher and they come out as new.
I have a thermomix as well but prefer the "real" juice rather than smoothie and don't want to stand around with a nut bag all day. So yes, all in all very happy!

I recommend this Juicer to anyone

    published

I juice everyday and the pulp of most fruit and veggies are so dry that it looks like breadcrumbs. There are no leaks and cleaning is easy and fast. I read the reviews of cutters going blunt so to avoid this I peel the fruit with hard skins and haven't had any problems with bluntness so far. I definitely recommend this juicer to anyone.

Great Juicer With All The Ergonomics Considered

    published

Love my juicer. Cleaning is a bit of a pain but well worth it and necessary in order to clean the fibre off the filter. Froth is something I didn't anticipate. Have been juicing for 3 months and going strong! Inspired by Joe Cross after watching Fat Sick and Nearly Dead on Netflix.

    Heap of rubbish

    published

I bought one of these juicers and found that after a few months use the cutters became very blunt . Cutters don't seem to be available to buy separately so juicer is no longer usable. There does seem to be a cutter strainer available to buy but this is about half the price of the juicer and this seems a bit silly as I only want the cutter which appears to be a separate piece.

Ok at juicing, makes a mess

    published

Purchased this juicer today, planning on returning it to the store tomorrow. We've tried multiple times to use it today and each time it leaks from the seal around the top edge, enough to drip onto the benchtop. I'm fine with cleaning up the internal mess but I have to clean the bench and the feet of the device as well. Would be a great product if it had a silicone seal, was happy with the juice it produced.

    Handy juicer.

    published

I bought the juice fountain a few months ago after my last one had stopped working (another brand). Very impressed with the size & convenience of pulling apart to clean. Not overly impressed with how damp the pulp is after juicing compared to my old juicer. I am also sometimes left with small chunks of fruit & have often juiced the pulp as well. If they could get this problem sorted it would be an amazing little juicer & would buy another if I had to.

    Great juicer, was pleasantly surprised

    published

Husband and I got this after seeing great reviews on here and we completely agree with all the 5stars. This juicer does whole large apples and anything of equal size. Juicing is so easy with minimal prep work now, Im so happy we bought it. We saw it on shelves for $260, but shopped around and found it for about $170 at Harvey Norman, bonus!

Fantastic juicer. I lost LOT OF WEIGHT juicing my vegetables. I owned a jack lalanne juicer prior to this one, it was complete rubbish. The Breville is superior in every way. Only thing i dont like about it is its hard to clean. The metal mesh insert needs to be replaced after a while, cost is about $50.
    Fantastic Juicer
    Hard to clean.

    Problem with the chute.

    published

We have had our juicer for eight years and use it almost every day however we have had problems. There is a vane inside the chute where you feed in the fruit and it holds the fruit against the spinning shredder. The vane is obviously not stong enough and breaks off. So far we have replaced the part (upper bowl it is called) five times, once under warranty and paid for the rest. The latest one is only three months old and has broken again. I am surprised no one else has reported this. You may not notice unless you check but it will throw out much more of your fruit unshredded.
    It is a good machine.
The vane in the food chute needs to be improved

    Juice in Motor

    published

Purchased this juicer a couple of years ago and generally it works well. However, the juice seems to make its way into the motor area over time and can't be cleaned. It has now started to smell and affect the taste of the juice. No instructions on how to avoid this.

    Love it!

For the price this is a great juicer. It's fast and powerful and most fruit and veg can go in whole (carrots, apples, zucchini, cucumber etc) with no problem at all. It's not bad at greens, you just need to bundle them tightly, and a few loose leaves (especially small ones like herbs) don't make it through. It's super easy to clean if you follow directions and do it straight away. It also comes with a handy brush to clean the blade/juice filter.
Powerful, quick and easy to clean, and great for the price
It copes with greens but better with solid fruit and veg

This juicer was purchased over two years ago and has yet to fail. It has been used almost every week since it has been purchased, and is well worth the money for its top quality. It is easy to clean, assemble and operate, and comes with juice jug, and a nylon bristle brush to easily clean the micro mesh filter basket. A replacement 12 month warranty is also included which is great if product is faulty.
This device makes juicing so quick and easy for people who want to juice on the go.
This juicer can be very loud when at use

    Hi,
I bought a je95 about 4 months ago. After 2 months I found a leak between the plastic parts of the tank. The filter basket is perfectly clean so the local service center told me that I need to clean it during the squizing after every vegetable I I put in. He said that the selery and other vegs stuck it with their fibers. It is not written in the manual.
    Is the machine that lame?
