Brilliant Create Desk Lamp with Clamp provides the largest light coverage
For some time I have been looking for a desk lamp to go with my 160cm length electric desk. Here are my criteria in order of importance:
- A lot of light but little glare.
- Slim hence not too imposing.
- Desk top lamp over floor standing lamp given it is for a sitting / standing electric table.
- Smart or can be made smart supporting Google Home and/or Amazon Alexa.
- Small foot print so not take up valuable desk space.
- Colour temperature adjustable.

he best by far amongst all I found. And I have looked at many places including lighting stores, furniture stores and online. The LED section is an impressive 51cm long! Try finding one this long thus large light coverage for a desk lamp! Goose neck can be bent anywhere and it is a good 40cm long and sturdy. No drooping there. This means you can create a light as low as around 15-16cm parallel to the table or as high at 50cm. Angle it at 45 degrees and you easily get to 80cm high. It is just so versatile. The goose neck is slim 1cm in diameter and LED part is 2cm and the lamp comes in black or white colour. Very minimalistic. As good as it gets.
