Good once you get the users to read the instructions
We bought this model for our daughter to do home projects. The initial experience was disastrous. After a thorough review of what we were doing the machine now works well and produces good results. The thread changeover is no too fiddly.
Purchased in October 2021.

This is a good product
I purchased this one for the colleagues who work in the Laundry. They confrimed that this is really nice and can sew some thicker stuff. They like it. Confirmed if they need more. they will order this one again. By the way the price is ok as well. Thanks. Frank

Great machine, excellent for any skill level
The Brother JV1400 is a very reasonably priced sewing machine. I’ve had it for a week and I am very happy with it. It comes with an instructional DVD and is very, very easy to use. I highly recommend it whether you’re doing repairs or making new clothes.
