Exceptional customer service, superior quality product. Worth every cent!
I'm a new mum and had no idea what or how to dress my newborn during the day or at night. I discovered this brand at a "Sleep Workshop" I attended in Melbourne and immediately fell in love with their story. I swear by their Joey Swaddle Wrap. It's lightweight, effortless to put on and off (even if you're half asleep at 3 am in the morning). It also helps settle my little guy in his bassinet as he feels comfortable and snug in it. I also appreciated the fact that their muslin wraps are super soft and gentle on the skin. I had 3 but later discove
... Read morered, after using them for everything, I needed more, so I bought another pack of 3. They feel so nice to touch and gentle when you use it against the sensitive skin of a newborn. I totally recommend this brand and will be featuring them in my "Top Things a New Mum Needs" post I will share on my Lifestyle blog.Best brand but soooo expensive
I love these bags. They are super long and generous in sizing which is great because I have a giant for a baby and he is 2-3 sizes ahead of his actual age. So the fact that these bags go to such a large size is wonderful! I however wish they were more competitive with their pricing. I own two bags but wish I could have the whole range unfortunately they are just to pricey for that. I have to switch to a different brand when the bubbaroos are in the wash.
Excellent quality, beautiful design!
We have used the 2.5 TOG over winter and the lightweight 0.5 TOG over summer. The look and feel of these sleeping bags is just so different to all the other ones out there. I love the material and neutral colours, they look so clean and fresh, compared to the gaudy alternative bags of other brands. They wash very well, after a long summer of frequent washing (often even on 60°C) they still look brand new. No shrinking! Baby is now 8 months and we are going up to the 6-18 months size only now.
Comes with a temperature guide, so I check the roo
Bubbaroo Heaven
I'll simply start by saying "FABULOUS" I have used my sleeping bag for my Son. Not only is it a beautifully designed bag, it's soft on the skin and eye with it's lovely pastel colours to chose from. So easy to wash and dries in no time. It comes in a very thoughtful range of sizes and I have simply used mine from birth right up until 18 months. I would recommend any product of Bubbaroo as I have been very lucky and in my humble opinion privileged to have found such wonderful Baby products. My Son has always been safe and warm and happy in his bed. Happy Boy equals happy Mummy. Thank You Bubbaroo!

Contemporary Australian design sleeping bags in quality fabrics
I have been a big fan of Bubbaroo Joey Swags (and their newborn wraps) for 5 years or so. I love the fact that the fabrics and colour combinations are contemporary and stylish and not hideous cartoony / disney tackiness that seems to dominate the baby goods sector. The bags are a lovely quality in 100% cottons and the 3 options for weights are perfect for the Australian seasons. I found their temperature guide that comes with the bags very handy to remind me how to dress tot according to the room temp and the weight of the bag. If you follo

Colour combos, quality fabric & safety harness, which allowed me to get bub in/out car/pram still snug. Can't fault this product - LOVE it, have in every colour & size!Beautifully made...just hard to dry!
The Bubaroo sleeping bags are beautifully made. The baby looks gorgeous when he is going to sleep in his little sleeping bag. They are very smart and cosy looking and I like the neutral colours which seem very calm and tranquil for bedtime. They are made of delicious natural fabrics which breathe well.
I have a few different brands of sleeping bags and I can't decide which I prefer, to be honest. Or, which my baby prefers for that matter. Hard to say if it is worth the extra $$$. If money isn't an issue then I would recommend them because
... Read morethey are nice. Good safety features like the buttons to make it smaller (so baby doesn't slip inside it while sleeping), love the look of it, love the fabric which seems so natural, cosy and breathable More expensive than other brands, quite bulky compared to my other sleeping bags of the same TOG which means (a) sometimes hard to dry in time for the next night and (b) takes up so much room in the bassinet so we moved him in to the cot a little earlier than planned.
Terrible
So much potential. Gorgeous bags and I bought 4 before I realised why my baby was sweating so much. I thought he was just a sweaty baby.
Then I read the label and discovered what they were lined with. I felt really ripped off. Apparently the grobags are the same. Of course the polyester part isn't part of the advertising - it's on the inside label fine print.
This is a gorgeous bag. I was really thrilled when I opened it. It was like a super expensive doona and I wanted one for myself.
It's filled with polyester - yuck. My baby was a sweaty mess.
Terrible
Disappointment sums up my experience... my baby was sweaty from the polyester in it PLUS the zipper broke within 2 weeks of owning it and when I contacted the company they told me I hadnt washed it properly and tough luck - I had followed the directions exactly as described and am not impressed - do not buy this product - if you want a polyester free experience try merino kids... I wish I had stuck with them but thought I would try bubbaroo for a change - BIG MISTAKE
polyester filling, broken zip, very poor customer service - to the point of being insulting
Keeps bubs safe and warm all night.
I have peace of mind knowing bubs is warm all night, he can't kick this off! I'm currently using the 2.5tog in melbourne and it's perfect. Great when we go out as it can be used with a car seat/ pram. Well worth the cost knowing that bubs is safe and warm. Good quality, has stood up to frequent washing due to my chucky baby. Found this to be one of the safest sleeping bags on the market after researching and trying a few. I started using this when bubs was quite small, 3.2kg; never worried that his head would fall in and the poppers keep his a
... Read morerms. Equivalent to gro bags in quality and price with the benefit of being designed by an aussie mum. No problems with polyester filling d as others have mentioned. Neutral colours. Excellent
Great product, happy to support Australian Made products that are well made. This product feels very comfortable and it is a relaxing thought to know that it is made from natural fibres. It washes very well and dries very quickly. My daughter is very small, but with the buttons under the arms I know she is comfortable and protected from falling into the sleeping bag. I also like the double zip as this design has enabled me to put her straight into her car seat while still in the warmth of the sleeping bag.
I bought this as Tizzie Hall (Save our sleep) recommended it and it is great, Since my baby has been wearing it she has slept 8 hours over night...
A must have!
A must have item for a new baby :) Helps them sleep better, be warm and feel comforted :) Great material to reduce over heating..It has a great two way zip system for changing nappies and a seatbelt opening.
Lightweight and comfortable for baby..
Quite big to start with before your baby grows into it.
Excellent
I think this is a great product - I didn't want to wrap my child in artifical fibres. This breaths and washes well - feels great on my daughters skin. I use the 1 tog weight and use a few blankets in winter (we're in melb). my daughter lights up when she sees it. Low fire danger unlike the most advertised bags.
Australian Made, Tizzie Hall recommends them, low fire danger, all natural fabric, so comfy, easy to move babe from cot to car to airplane. Studs underarms for smaller babes.

Excellent
I found the 2.5 ton to be thicker and warmer than other brands. My baby hates putting on lots of layers when going to bed, she prefers this than other brands as she could have one less layer to wear underneath.
Made from natural fibres, low fire danger, travel system accommodates with 5 point harness. I use the 2.5 tog and found it to be a lot thicker and warmer than other brands I have tried. Loved the designs as well. Washes well.
Not a majoy flaw but it takes a bit longer to dry after wash than other brands
Excellent
After trying to find summer weight Grobags at several baby stores - but to no avail, I was directed to this product. I liked how the colours were gender neutral. I found it useful how the packaging had lots of details and directions on the best way to dress Bubs depending on temperature. When its time to buy winter weight sleeping bags for my baby, I'll buy this brand again happily.
Available in neutral colours and made from quality materials, the Bubbaroo sleeping bag is an equal alternative to the Grobag brand. It comes in different TOG ratings, is an Australian product, has a central zipper, is easy to wash and dry and has a rear opening to fit in a car seat or pram harness.
Good
This bag is the equal of Grobag sleeping bags. I prefer the nice plain colours as it means it is a bit more neutral. The only real drawback is that it can take ages to dry. However, if you have a tumble drier this won't be a problem.
The colour and pattern is nicely neutral but not dull. The sleeping bags are well made and an Australian product. The bags can be used with a harness. The double zip is easier to do up under the chin than on a Grobag.
The 1 tog bag is lined with Terry towelling. This means it dries much more slowly than other bags.
