Don't order online
I've bought from this store both online and in store. The in store service is fine, however online is ridiculous. I've been waiting three weeks since I ordered, and I haven't heard a thing from them. My order is 'processing'. i have no idea what that means, but if they have a backlog of three weeks, they really need to consider hiring more staff. Same thing happened last time I ordered online (I was pregnant, vowed to never order from them again, but forgot and got a baby expo special).

tore, but it's just not worth it to wait this long. The special wasn't even that great, could have bought elsewhere for a similar price and received my items by now. I will never buy a thing from them again, it's just so frustrating. I buy lots of things online, every other store manages to post things within a week.1 comment

Wonderful - valley store
I've shopped at the fortitude valley store a number of times now and the staff are always wonderful and go out if their way to help. The store gets really busy, especially on the weekends but it's worth the wait to get good information and honest advice.

Super slow delivery for online orders
I ordered two things online and it is the slowest online store I have ever used in terms of getting my items. It has been 2 weeks now and they still haven't even sent my items! I will not buy anything from here again and no other store I have previously purchased from has had this issue. If you need an item and don't want to wait weeks, order from somewhere else!!!!

Faulty product
I purchased a pram online as we live well over an hour away from the store. I have used my pram only 5 times and yesterday the handle of the pram came off with a bolt stuck inside the handle, making it impossible to put back on.
I called customer service this morning and they informed me I have to drive almost two hours to the store to hand in the pram. I was told they will then have my pram for a few weeks while it is being repaired and will then have to drive back to pick it up. Ridiculous!

Worst Service Ever
I have had two terrible experiences with Bubs, first at Helensvale and then at Logan! Staff have very little product knowledge. On both occasions I was told that the pram I ordered would take a week but it took over a month. I was originally told that a product didn't even exist, though it does and is sold in other stores! Staff are unprofessional and very unhelpful! Will never go back.

Service is really varied
I've found that every time I've been into the logan store without a visible bump (about 5 times in total) I have been ignored even though I was ready to purchase some big ticket items. Whenever I've been in with a large bump though, they've been all over me wanting to help. When I did get service and purchase they have been helpful though.

emailed them this morning asking if the order had been shipped and no response. If the items are in stock in their warehouse then it should seriously be picked and sent within 2 days. If they have to order the items in, fine, but at least tell the person and give them an ETA. It's not that hard. I've worked in wholesale/warehouse industries for my entire career and it's seriously not that hard to communicate with people about their orders. I could have waited until my toddler was better and gone into the store and bought them at this rate. Won't ever purchase online with them ever again. fortitude valley, waste of my time:(
We've just spent more than$4000 at the shop, I came back to purchase something else and waited 30 minutes, nobody is available to help... went to talk to one of the girls and was told to wait at the counter until someone approaches me, I have waited for another 10 minutes at the counter with another couple who were waiting as well,, then when one of the staff finally approached us her priority was to answer the phone, I left the shop and went somewhere else !what a waste of my time

Great prompt service!
I have now bought two items from Bubs and having to been to many baby stores I found them the best! I went to the Fortitude Valley store who have both times priced matched competitor stores which I found fantastic as I find Bubs prices always a bit more expensive than anywhere else. But the fact that they will price match or beat the price with a smile is great!
Great service by Amanda at the Fortitude Valley store who unlike a lot other people at baby stores try to up sell you everything to things you don't necessarily need as babys grow so quick. As a first time mum I found her very honest and trust worthy!

Terrible customer service
Walked through the door 15mins before closing. Just got glared at by the staff at the counter, then they looked at their watches. Standing there for 5mins before someone yelled out from across the shop "what do you need?". When asked if they price match they rolled their eyes and said "yeah". Mind you this store had about 5 staff on and we were the only customers there.

Lightning fast online delivery of important items for baby!
I was worried about getting the right price on the right car seat for our baby who is expected soon and was dubious about ordering online because some of the wait times. Our Car seat arrived just 4 days after ordering it and I was expecting it to take up to 2 weeks! We also received a free play mat with our order. Very happy to have our items so quickly and bought at the best price of anywhere!

Perfectly happy
I did a lot of online shopping around to find the right pram! Bubs had the best price with a free play mat, shipping was the cheapest by far and I received my 2 large boxes within the ETA, I'm in WA and my order came from QLD! Thanks Bubs will defiantly be ordering again :))

Excellent service
I was needing a change table tray to fit the top of my Boori Urban chest of draws. With 2 weeks till due date I was sure I wouldn't be able to find one. I rang their Fortitude Valley shop and asked if they had one and in the colour I needed. Girl said they didn't in store but warehouse appeared to have them. She gave me the direct number for their warehouse so I could double check before ordering online. Warehouse said they had them in stock. I ordered and received email the next day saying it had been posted. Received it within the week! Very happy

Worst manager ever- disgusted is a under statement
Went into Rutherford store, they have a clearance section with Seconds. Saw a stroller I liked Phil & teds with a price tags of $490 down from $999. Manager had been in many times to reduce this stroller as seen on paper, so I thought I'll ask while she was there could she reduce any further as they were closing down.

Terrible online shopping experience
This is the slowest online shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered a cot and mattress and at the time of ordering was told I would receive an email within 5 days telling me if my order was in stock. I did not receive an email. I had to email the websales address twice to get a response. The response I finally got was so useless. All it said was that my order had been placed with the supplier. The question I had asked was how long it would take for my order to arrive. I am still waiting on my order.

Worst Service ever
I went in to buy a carseat walked past 5 ladies who were talking about what clothing shops they shop at,not a single Hello or anything. I then struggled to get carseats down to look at and try. Not a single lady came up to ask if I was okay and I was the only customer in the store! I then gave up and decided to leave, just as I got to the door they said do you need any help.. It was ver hard for me to say no thank you. I chose to go to baby bunting were someone came to help me within the first 2 minutes of looking at carseats.

Like the shop shame about the freight company they use!
The shop has some good deals and are great to buy from however, please stop using Toll Priority - they never deliver and when they do you can't collect items undelivered from post office and you have to go to airport. They do have an option of leaving authority to leave card but this does not work at apartments. I wont be buying online from Bubs again as it is near impossible for me to receive the delivery!

Good experience with Helensvale store
I went to the Helensvale store. They had all the items I wanted in stock. I found they were happy to price match other stores and they were willing to discount if purchasing multiple items. I found the staff were informative. I live just over an hour from the shop and when calling to enquire as to pricing they were able to get back to me quickly. This is the better alternative to the Pram Warehouse on the Gold Coast who I had terrible experiences with.

A little eager for business - needed to be firm in saying no to items I was researching and not yet wanting to buy.

Wonderful online expereince
I ordered a product from the bub's baby shop website, recieved notification that it had been sent the following day and recieved it (in regional victoria) three days later. Item was well packed, as described and competitively priced compared to other larger online baby retailers. Postage cost was reasonable. Can't ask for more than that, Thankyou bub's :-)

Bubs Aspley... Best baby shop on the Northside of Brisbane
All the staff members are very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and helpful.
The store is neat and well set out, with plenty of car parks outside. There is a large range of competitively priced products on offer, and the pram, pram accessories and car seat of our choice were all available for us to purchase and take home straight away.
Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff members

orporately owned competitors moving into Qld on our door steps. As a result have had some bad reviews which are justified. In comparison 16 bad reviews in 15 years I guess isnt too bad - its up to 10 times less than others in my industry. Do not shop here - service and refund policy appalling
Their after sales service is appalling. Don't ever expect a refund if your item is faulty, not what you expected or not right for you. Read all of the other reviews too - i wish i had before purchasing there. They will never refund and all they care about is their sales target. Very poor form. The fortitude valley store is just disgraceful and when i asked to chat with the manager she avoided me. Definitely worth checking other shops considering they are overpriced to begin with. Go to pram warehouse or baby bunting first!
