Fantastic. Perfect for sport.

published

I have been wearing it throughout my summer softball last season and this season. It's 2 1/2 hrs from the time I put it on to when our game finishes. I have not been burnt all season even when it hit 40 degrees the other week. The non greasy finish eliminates that sweat you get from wearing other sunscreens.

Purchased in January 2021 at Chemist Warehouse for $8.99.

Not a great sunscreen

published

Bought this because I thought Cancer Council, so it must be good... unfortunately not the case for me.

Although it absorbed well and was non greasy, It left a stinging/burning sensation on the underside of my arms and my face. I also got a minor sunburn despite a liberal "coat" of this prior to sun exposure. I have fair skin and have had 2 cancers removed so am conscious of sun safety.

I have used a supermarket brand that was a quarter of the price, prior to buying this tube and it offered much better protection so I think I will go back to that.

Suits me!

I have used CC Active sunscreen for the last 18 months after my dermatologist suggested using it on my face. I am a melanoma gal, and love this product as it is non greasy and dries quickly.

Best Sunscreen I've Ever Used

published

I have tried & tested many different sunscreens over the years but none come close to this one. I can't stand using sun protection products that leave my skin feeling oily or greasy long after application, so this will be a repeat purchase from now on.

useless. so disappointed

published

Yesterday I spent a few hours at the beach with my sons. I applied it before I left and everytime I got out the water. I am red raw all over. My eldest also got burnt and I applied it at the same time as I did myself. I am so upset as I have Chloasma and tired to do the right thing. I had a shade tent that I used when I got out the water and wore a bucket hat the whole time.

I have used so many sunscreens .Every single one was very oily for me. No one worked on my skin and got burn. Just accidently i picked this from priceline pharmacy and it worked well. Super dry and working well. M super happy.

I didnt burn, but it badly stained a white top.

published

I have olive skin so I dont burn too easily, but I am still very careful with my chest & arms in summer. (I use a special face sunblock) This went on nicely and felt light and not too greasy. Over the day I was in & out & spent about 40 minutes in the sun around 1pm. The good, I didnt burn, not even a tinge of pink. The bad, I was wearing an expensive white top which stained yellow from the sunblock. Verdict = ok for me with olive skin if wearing darker clothes but keep it well away from anything pale or delicate fabrics.

Doesn't work.

Used as per label and was neither swimming or sweating excessively but still burned. Was not outside for more than two hours and put it on half an hour before going out. Very disappointed.

Doesn't neet any of the claims on the label

published

On Saturday 28th January I went to the beach and I was in the sun for 40 minutes and I have burns everywhere. My legs are patchy with bright red and white. It's not even at all. My arms and back are very red and can not be touched at all. My face for some reason didn't burn but my hairline and ears did. When I left the beach I was shaking and this lasted a day and a half.

I have seen a doctor and he said I have first degree burns and I will be seeing another doctor today. My body feels like I have razor blades everywhere cutting into my skin.

Also, it does feel greasy and the pump fills with the product so it's very hard to spray after the first use. It definitely doesn't meet any of the claims on the bottle at all.

Doesn't meet product discription

published

Label on the front of spray bottle claims:
"Very high protection
Oil-free, light feel and non-greasy."
Sorry, but it is oily, and greasy, like every other suncreen I've tried. "Dry touch" is a meaningless term. Spray pump works OK the first time, but gets worse and worse as time goes on. Even if you clean the sprayer religiously. Will not go for any sunscreen brand's pump-spray product in the future. Going to try some other brands given the poor ratings of Cancer Council products here, my experience is no better than anyone else...
