We don't use the castors, so these are an unnecessary option for us. It is a simple clean unit for a great price. We liked that we were able to get this with a matching cot for less than $500. We got simple white furniture for the nursery and spent the extra money on accessories to decorate with.
Extra storage shelf is very handy. Easy open access to shelves.
