Not as good as it used to be
I am very disappointed in the taste and quality of this yoghurt over the last 12mths or so. No longer does it taste or have the texture of the yoghurt I have stood by for over 20yrs. I do not like cream like many others, so always used this brand of 'tradional Style' which I have used for dips, sauces and baking, now I cannot use it at all as everything tasted like CREAM!, (looks like whipped cream too!...... Sour Cream has more bite than this yoghurt now). No wonder this brand sits below eye level these days... its no longer "Tradional Greek S...Read more
tyle Yoghurt'.... You have destroyed your brand trying to Keep up with the others whom use CREAM bases. Just makes it CREAM and an UNHEALTHY PRODUCT. Not the closest to Greek Style at all.... ask a Greek.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great product but VERY poor customer relations person!
I recently called this company about a yoghurt that was curdled! The customer relations person did not ring back that day or the next, so I rang again and the receptionist agreed that they had a problem with certain batches. She sent me out a $5 gift card to be spent at Safeway even though I told her I had bought at Coles.
I wonder if Chris's had reported the problem to the Health Department??
Curdled

O So Good
Have tasted so many natural greek style yogurts but nothing can compare to Chris' Traditional Greek Style. It doesn't stay in the fridge long enough for any worries of going past the due date....like so many other brands I have found pushed to the back of the fridge. Infact I am eating my second bowl of the day with local honey poured on and a large sprinkle of LSA.
Creamy, thick, no bitter taste, stays fresh longer.
What's wrong with it - absolutely nothing.

Bad
Too salty. Unnecessarily so. could be a problem for those with high blood pressure. I will return an organic one that is the same price.
reasonable texture.
Far too salty! Doesn't list salt as an ingredient, but says 6.5gm of salt per 100 grams in the nutrition panel. I didn't expect this and didn't look for it until after tasting it. won't be buying again!

Excellent
Chris' Traditional Greek Style yoghurt is definitely the yoghurt of all natural yoghurts. It is made in the traditional Greek way and once you've tried it you won't bother with the other regularly found brands of 'Greek' or 'european' style yoghurt. Chris' yoghurt products surpass all others on the market. It is so thick you can hold the spoon upside down and it won't fall off; you can almost carve it. It's creaminess is surpassed only by it's wonderfully zippy tang. I can't get enough and always keep a tub in my fridge. It makes a wonde...Read more
rful addition to sauces and is an excellent substitute for cream. A filling snack in itself for those with a non-sweet pallette. It's sour, tangy flavour, texture & creaminess. It keeps in the fridge much much longer than other yoghurts once opened. Nothing; it's an excellent product.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Is Chris Greek Style Yogurt Discontinued?

Yes, I believe it is. My son purchased some recently. Seems a bit better, but still not exactly natural in my opinion.

The chrisdips website says "Our famous traditional Greek style yoghurt can be found at Coles, Woolworths, IGA & independent supermarkets. Check the Store Locator to find your nearest stockist." Hope this is helpful.
