I use this kettle everyday and it's great but the only thing is that the handle gets way too hot. My mother has a rubber handle one and the handle doesn't get too hot. I notice that the area just under the lid is starting to rust. I'm not sure if this is normal but I've only had the kettle for just over 2 years.

Have had this Circulon Sunrise Induction Stovetop Kettle - Black, for two weeks now. My 11 yr old daughter uses it safely and easily. Handle does not get hot. It does not splutter when filled to the level specified in user manual. We fill it via the spout so we don’t take the lid off and on. It boils quickly and the whistle is loud and lovely. Its plenty big enough for my family of 5. I highly recommend it for families with kids who like to use kettles for tea and cooking. It sits in our stove top and looks cute too.
