Great kettle
We have had this kettle for 2 months and don't regret our purchase. The whistle is strong and reliable and it's great to be able to open the spout with one hand.
The construction is very solid with an additional baseplate containing an iron core for induction stoves (compared to the way the bottom of other kettles is assembled this seems to be much better engineered).
At this price it's a really good option if you want a kettle that can boil water on any stove!

Hi, has anyone been using this kettle for at least a year? What is your opinion, does it last? I've had several kettles and some lost their whistle after a few months only.

Ours has now seen more than 2 years of everyday use, mostly on induction, and still whistling strong. Overall the kettle basically still looks as new when cleaned. Only thing that is a bit annoying is the small rubber protector on the trigger that tends to move / slip quite easily. There are certainly many ways this can be fixed but I never really bothered as it's a really minor inconvenience and it never fully comes off unless you really want to take it off. I'm still super happy with the purchase.
