Perfect hair straightener
Heats up in 3 seconds and straightening my hair has never been easier! Straightener came with care products to ensure healthy hair. Absolutely love this item and recommend it to all!
Purchased in October 2021.

Broke after 2 years and can’t be repaired
While it worked this was a good straightener, as effective as the GHD original that I’d been using for 10 years. Also useful for curling and the 2 temperature settings was a nice feature (not that I used them both). I am very disappointed that it stopped functioning after only 2 years and is not able to be repaired (cloud nine do not repair this model as they don’t keep the spare parts, and no small electrical repairer can get the parts either. For a $289.00 product I expect a much longer life, or at least for it to be able to be fixed.
I’ve got back to my GHD which is still going strong after 12 years now!

terrible
This product did nothing for my hair expect for leaving it even more frizzy and dry. If that wasn't bad enough within a few weeks the entire product had broken and stopped working.

Find out how Cloud Nine Touch compares to other Hair Straighteners
Know better, choose better.
Was good until it stopped working!
Positives: Fast heat up, easy to use, hair left shiny, creates nice curls as well as straighten. My hairdresser also used the same one so I thought it must be good! Warranty was easily redeemed.
Negatives: after about 6 months it would make this constant beeping sound and not heat up, returned to to CloudNine as it was under warranty and they send me a brand new iron which has been fine until recently (Approx 2.5 years) when it has started doing the same thing. I've gone back to using my old GHD and I think I will stick with them from now. I wonder if there was a lot of people with the same issue with the Touch as its no longer on several stockists websites.

I can't live without this
I love how it takes literally 2 seconds to heat up as I'm always in a rush. I would never be able to go back to one that takes longer than that to heat up. Also it is super smooth, I bought another type of fairly good one for my mum and it snagged her hair so much compared to this. It is super smooth. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a straightener.

Waste of money
Bought the cloud 9 touch in may. Very disappointed with the results as they have left my hair feeling dry and frazzled. I use salon products to moisturise my hair but it's not helping. Cloud 9 sent me some of there magic potion but my hair is left feeling dry. I will be returning to GHDS as I've had no problems with them, my last set lasted 10 years. Support from cloud 9 customer service is poor they have offered to look at the straighteners but I'd like a refund as I feel it's an expensive product that ruins hair!!!!

Cloud 9 straightners
Purchased my cloud 9 (C9 Touch) straighteners 8 months ago from a salon in Auckland and they cease to work. A continuous beeping sound and they don't heat. Straighteners not used a lot, and lay dormant over Christmas holidays. Buyers beware! The supplier has changed in New Zealand to: Hair Care NZ. You can contact them at [email protected].
