Nothing to complain about
I've had my Cloud Nine for a few years and I really cant complain. I have only ever tried one other brand before this so don't have much to compare it to.
It has several heat settings which makes a big difference and it heats up quickly. Most importantly, it irons well.
Its also pretty lightweight which makes it easy to use.

In love with these!
I purchased the cloud nine original straightener in July 2017, now 7 months later I’m still in love with them if not more so!
I’ve owned ghd’s in the past that fried and damaged my hair severely and could never understand the hype about them, (i’ve owned cheaper brands that did a better job than ghds!)
These C9’s are amazing!
They heat up super fast and I love the adjustable temperature settings.
They glide through my hair easily and straighten it faster than other irons I’ve used.
They leave my hair beautifully smooth and soft and the best part is my hair stays straight until my next wash.
I would definitely purchase these again!
My natural hair type is medium thick, wavy to curly.

Long Lasting and meets expectations
Have had this for almost 4 years now and and still haven't found any reason to upgrade. Quite expensive to begin with but worth the investment. I like the colour coding on the temperature switch, so I know what temperature is not healthy for my hair to go past.

Bought for wife as replacement for GHDs
She loves them, they seem to be durable and are lasting well. Heat up quickly, straighten quickly as well. This may be because comparing to an old pair of GHDs rather than a new pair but in terms of performance they are good.
No snags, wife seems happy with them!

Great product but sent uk power plug
Great results and heat time excellent, glossy finish and highly recommend.
No snagging, lightweight and long cord excellent. Be careful to purchase model for au as mine was shipped as UK plug and they wouldn’t return.

Great product
I was always a firm believer that GHD was the best straightener but after my GHD suddenly stopped working I was convinced by a number of people to give the cloud nine a go. After some hesitation I finally decided to buy a cloud nine and i do not regret it. it is a great product.

Heats up super quick
Best part about this is that it heats up really quickly, like within a few seconds. It doesn't snag on hair and you can adjust the temperature. Unfortunately I'm not good at doing curls with any straightener so can't vouch on its usability for that. The only difference between this and a cheaper straightener is that this heats up faster.

Great product
I have absolutely no issues with this product, it's amazing, but I have used much cheaper straighteners that are almost as good so I'm not sure if I would pay the extra amount if I were to buy new straighteners again.

Fantastic quality
I have been using my appliance everyday for three years now. It heats up within a minute and perfectly straightens my hair. It is easy to use and offers multiple heat settings. I find my hair is smooth and soft afterwards. I have no noticed in damage with usage.

Great for curling dead straight hair
I have a very straight hair and have used from curling tongs to curlers to even sleeping with plaits in my hair to achieved the curled look. The curls would last 6 hours at the maximum and would flatten in no time.I was slightly skeptical when buying cloud nine since if it didn't work I had spent a small fortune on this. Well I was immediately taken back and on how smoothly my hair curled but most importantly how long my curls would last. Even without a hair spray my curls will last at least 3 days. If I didn't have oily hair I'm sure I can pus...Read more
h it even longer. Of course the cur's begin to drop by day 3 but it's still remarkable. Definitely worth every cent. My only complaint is that the tip of the straightener where I hold when curling does get quiet hot towards the end but it could be because I have a lot of hair and a long one at that. So I may have my curler turned on for much longer than most people.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

On Cloud 9!
Very happy with the Cloud 9 Original! Writing this review after owning it for over 2 years and is used daily without skipping a beat! I have had a number of hair straighteners over the years but this one is the best and continues to constantly be so. Would recommend shopping around for the best price as the prices can fluctuate greatly.

Heats up quickly
I use this regularly. At least once a week. It's replaces my curling iron also. Curls hold well and leaves my hair with a nice shine after. Doesn't beep when it's at the dry temperature but the lights do show when it is. Multiple heat settings.

I didnt think I'd love it more than my GHD
I was very attached to my GHD before it broke. I was reluctant to try anything else but had read that GHD wasn't made the same anymore and these were made by the old GHD guys so I bought one.
I love the little beep as it turns on and it heats up very fast!
The plates are lovely and just glide over the hair leaving it straight and smooth. My hair is very curly and frizzy and it leaves it lovely and straight. Highly recommend.

This is the one boys
If you want the really best for your wife, girlfriend whatever this is the one. I gave it to her for Christmas and she keeps going on how good it is every time she uses it. Beats GHD by miles

Love this straightener!
My partner bought this for me for my birthday a few years back and i was really hoping for the GHD. I am so glad he purchased this one instead! it is absolutely amazing and is able to tame my big poofy hair without doing any sort of damage. My hair always comes out looking so shiny and so so soft. Love the fact that you are also able to control the temperature so easily and that it heats up in no time.

Love it!
I am so happy with my new cloud nine iron. It works better than a ghd for me and you can change the temperature of the iron so that you can control it specifically for your hair type. It’s sleek and comes in a lovely carry case. Would definitely rate this better than ghd

perfect like its name
I instantly liked the Cloud Nine Iron when I used it for the first time. I never owned a flat iron before and expected it difficult to operate and harsh on my hair. However, I am very pleasantly surprised how easy t it is to use and how fast it heats up and have not noticed any damage to my hair so far. I also bought a heat protector spray, however, I do not think that I need it as this is a gentle hair styling tool and works very well.

Perfect hair straightener
A great hair straightener for my wavy hair. Love the temperature control and love that heats up so quickly. It glides easily and straightens my hair to perfection. It is also easy to bring around especially if you are travelling.

No response from Cloud 9 Customer service, except receipt of my enquiry, as below:
Subject: Not getting a good result
Hello! I purchased your wide iron through ry.com.au, after glowing recommendations from two hair dressers and reading reviews online. I have wavy red hair that is quite thick, which I condition well and use a heat protector, I normally blow dry my hair straight with a round pig bristle brush (and Parlux dryer) and then smooth/lightly straighten with a hair straighter for a soft/glossy finish, sometimes when I want a completely straight look I take more time to do so. I have been using a Vidal Sasoon straightener with ceramic plates on 180 degrees for a long time. I was excited to receive your straightener but I am having trouble achieving the result I want/had previously with my old straightner and need advice. I have not changed anything with my product routine but I am finding the new wide iron is making my hair appear stiff and dull rather than smoothed/straightened on 150 degrees, any higher a setting I find my hair smells a little 'toasty' - that slightly too hot smell. The iron heats up very quickly and glides through my hair beautifully and I love that it is so light to handle. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the iron or if I am doing something incorrect or if I should have perhaps bought the normal width iron for my hair? My first ever iron was a wide model and I had no problems with results. I have gone back to my old straightening iron until I can figure out what the problem is. I look forward to your response
