So much better than every other pod I've tried so far...
I bought a DElonghi Nespresso machine just before Christmas, and it was a big step down from my previous fully automotic bean grinding machine. I had read that Nespresso pod coffee wasn't that good, but didn't realise just how bad it was until I tried it! I nearly took the machine back, but read about Coffee Capsul Dlights, and ordered some. At the same time I also got some Podista and Fair Trade (from Oxfam) to try. All 3 are better and cheaper than Nespresso, but the Kenyan pods from Coffee Capusle Delights are way out in front- just delicious, the coffee tasts great, just like home ground. Pods arrived in the mail in nifty recycled cardboard containers within a few days- even over Xmas. Big thumbs up, no negaitves so far.

Excellent coffee, better than Nespresso's own brand and MUCH better value!
I've just received my first order from Coffee Capsule Delights [CCD] after receiving a Nespresso machine and several of CCD's trial packs as a present. I must say that...
1) CCD's Indian coffee capsules are excellent, MUCH better than the initial NESPRESSO-brand capsules supplied with the machine
2) I do much of my shopping online, and CCD's online store features one of the MOST elegant and simple ordering processes EVER!
Excellent coffee, much less expensive than Nespresso's own coffee pods

Great Coffee, Great Price
Found them a year ago after reading Choice magazine's review. Ordered a few different flavours and settled on the "Indian" as I liked it the best. Initially I did find that a few pods wouldn't turn out 100% right, the machine seemed to have problems piercing them, but haven't had that problem in a long time. I suspect that they have tweaked the design slightly. Have since ordered over 300 pods in bulk lots of 100 and i'm loving it.
Only gripe is that the bulk packs come with the pods lose in a big box, I've lost a few pods because they arrived damaged.
Flavour, price
some of the bulk packs arrive with broken pods

Pleasantly surprised!
I purchased about 20 packets of these pods and then read all the negative reviews and panicked!! I straight away rang the number on their website and the lady I spoke to said they have a complete money back guarantee, so if I am unhappy with them I can return for a complete refund. We have loved our capsules!! The handle at the top of he machine is definitely tighter to pull down but it makes a beautiful coffee. Yes it takes a bit longer for the water to go through the pod but only about 10 seconds longer. Butterscotch is my favourite!!! Also I have a Nespresso machine.

Ignore the 'Choice' reviews. These capsules are utter, irredeemable rubbish.
I found the Coffee Capsule Delights (CCD) Indian to be flavourless, insipid and stale tasting. For an 'intensity 10' capsule, they were completely underwhelming, to say the least. There is simply a stale aroma, the flavour has no body or richness, a slight bitterness, and almost zero aftertaste. Hardly recognisable as coffee, these capsules are characterless, pale, and lacking energy (a bit like the brand itself). Don't believe the hype. These are utter, irredeemable rubbish.
So how did I find out about this insult to good taste? Well, I was...Read more
impressed to find out that Coffee Capsule Delights (CCD) capsules got a positive mention on choice.com.au. I wasn't overly impressed with the Nespresso capsules that came with my machine, and the Choice 'review' for CCD Indian capsules seemed quite positive. Sounds good right? It turns out I was only seeing what I wanted to see. If you read the 'review's' wording carefully, it basically states that CCD Indian was the 'top choice', however it's among a bunch of very average capsules. The reviewer(s) also noted the "very limited flavour”. The other tasting notes are hardly relevant considering the flavour is non-existent. Avoid. The delivery was fast.Similar opinion? Best capsules I've found
Received a De Longhi capsule machine for Christmas 2013, together with a range of about 15 different brands/flavours of capsules. I like the CCD ones best. Stronger aroma and flavour. The chocolate and caramel ones were great, as were the Guatamalan and Sumatran flavours. Didn't try one from CCD that I didn't like. About to place an order for more now !
Good strong aroma and flavour, worked well in my machine

Nice brew
I bought a DeLonghi Lattissima Capsule Machine at Christmas as a present from my wife to me.
Having got my hands on it, the mission began with three priorities
1/ Get some good tasting coffee pods.
2/ At a good price.
3/ Manufactured to a standard that wouldn't compromise my machine.
As your reading this you have gone down the same route as I did .... the internet.
I read good and bad about several different suppliers and I must agree with some of the comments here, that it seems the bad ones could be working for the opposition. a...Read more

Good stuff
I have had my nespresso capsule machine for 18 months, the first 9 months of that I was very disappointed in the nespresso branded pods. I a state of disappointment i sought out any alternative. Coffee Capsule Delights pods actually make it worth having a nespresso machine, you can actually taste the flavors in the coffee. Delivery times and customer service have been great thus far.
Flavour, value

Delights? Not so.
I thought saving a few dollars and trying a different brand than Nespresso would be fine, after reading an article about Nespresso stopping legal action against companies making pods that fit their machine. So I found the Coffee Capsule Delights, all I can really say is never again will I buy something that is not from Nespresso. Those that are saying good things about this Coffee are probably employed by the company, seriously this Coffee should stay in the bin. Only positive thing is it's cheaper, but like all things these days, you get what you pay for.
I would not be surprised if they are packing International Roast into these pods, cheap and nasty instant coffee....

Not nespresso machine compatible!
Luckily I only purchased the trial pack. The coffee maybe ok but it does not work in the nespresso machines. The shell is too hard to pierce therefore the coffee is weak. I didn't want to try any more pods as I was concerned it may break the machine.
Try the trial pk but don't be surprised if it's not compatible.
The price was better
Didnt work in my machine

Great coffee & customer service
I had very mixed feelings about purchasing these pods due to all the negative reviews but since they were a good price, I thought there would be no harm in trying them out.
**FYI, I received my Nespresso Pixie in December 2013 so that's the machine I've been using these pods on**
I bought a couple of trial packs and WOW was I pleasantly surprised! They came within 48 hours - delivery was very fast!
I'm not an espresso drinker, (I prefer milk in my coffee - no sugar though) so my comments are based on drinking it this way.

o much flavour and intensity in these pods. The Nespresso capsules that came with my Pixie were so weak and watery in comparison. Even after filling Lungo sized cups of the Coffee Capsule Delights, the colour of the coffee was rich, dark and strong. Sometimes the flavour was too strong, so I had to revert to Espresso size. Before pouring in the milk, I also noticed they had a decent crema. I made coffee for some friends who came over last night and they all complimented me on how good the coffee was. I can't decide on my favourite flavour yet.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good coffee, terrible pods
The negative reviews here are totally justified. While the coffee is better than Nespresso and I'm sure work in some machines, it doesn't work in mine (Prima). Hardly any water flows out when they do work, they block the machine and don't work quite often and I think they have broken my machine. I wouldn't buy again sadly, no point in having good coffee if you cant use them

Nespresso compatible Capsules
I recently came across the website ''Coffee capsule Delights''and after reading the reviews(both good and bad),I thought that I would try their coffee capsules and form my own opinion.I was pleasantly surprised! I could not decide which coffee I liked the most, as they all tasted fantastic. In conclusion, I am in the opinion that these negative reviews have been posted by rival companies. My logic tells me that "Choice magazines" blind test would have a lot more credibility than these anonymous postings.
Smooth fresh coffee at an affordable price

Terrible, weak and watery. Waste of money.
Purchase all 4 Coffee Capsules Delight sample packs to find an alternative to Nespresso and support an Australian Company. I persisted and tried several varieties, as did my son in a different Nespresso machine. Each were so weak and watery that I couldn't finish the cup. The flavoured varieties were a big disappointment, no hit of fragrance or flavour. Before you buy in bulk please try a sample pack first, relieved I did because the price saving didn't justify flavourless and I threw out the rest of the samples. If like very weak coffee then maybe this is for you....then again so is maybe 'instant'. I'll keep trying to find a suitable alternative.

Coffee Capsules Delights - Rate on how much you like it or how much you hate it
After trying this, I was amazed at how strong the coffee was. I have tried Nespresso and all the different brand and was left disappointed on how weak the coffee was. Coffee Capsules Delight is the strongest coffee out there for capsule size. I guess they put either better brand of coffee or fit more coffee in the capsule.
The taste is amazing also. I like the Indian the best. It has a stronger and richer taste and wakes me up. You know how you get in the mornings how your eyes seem to be shut and you cant open them. Well I solved...Read more

I love my coffee and I've tried a few different capsules. These guys are by far the best. They have a great range and all pour a beautiful creamy espresso shot. Nice smooth full bodied flavour. An excellent product. Stop searching and try these guys out. You will be glad you did :)

Happy uni student!
I got a pixie nespresso machine for my birthday and my mum bought me 6 packets of the coffee capsule delights too. I have had no trouble with them... ive read all the reviews the good and the bad and i went and checked out my machine... i have no trouble putting the capsules into the machine and when i turn it on water goes through and coffee comes out... i have noticed that when i take the capsules out i cant really see where the machine has penetrated the back to send the coffee through (like in the nespresso ones you can see three holes) but...Read more
its obviously getting water through since coffee is coming out. I really like my coffee but not super super strong. I know the indian one is suppose to be intensity 10 but i really enjoy drinking it.. so its probably more intensity 5. I can see why this upsets people, but for ones who enjoy a smooth coffee taste that isnt too strong then this definetly works! I also enjoy etimo, the choc mint and the vanilla ones :) as a uni student.. saving $3 per 10 pack compared to nesspresso is alot of money, and especially since buy coffee at the uni cafe is $4 for a small coffee and tastes horrible!!! There are also a few nespresso flavours I enjoy which the coffee capsule delights company doesnt seem to have, but that doesnt concern me, I can always buy a pack and save them for special occasions :) Smooth tasting coffee not intensity 10, more intensity 5, but im okay with thatSimilar opinion? Great range
Initially I tried a few different flavors and when I decided on my favourite I was really happy to see that I could save even more money buying in bulk! I tried all the Nespresso brands but they were all a little bland for my taste and expensive by comparison to Coffee Capsule Delights. I treat myself to some of the infused flavors from time to time as well.

I have just purchased reusable pods and am looking for advice. Are there any stove-top grind coffees available in the major supermarket chains (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi)? All I can seem to find is espresso which is too fine.
1 answer
Yes Aldi do Lazzio in medium and dark roast. coles do lavazza tierra and quite a few others, stovetop grind which is ok for pods...

Can anyone tell me the best fairtrade coffee pod/machine option? I want a pod machine, and have found the 'Coles Finest coffee pods 52g' that are fairtrade! Which machine is the most compatible?
1 answer
Oxfam also sell Fairtrade pods, they fit Nespresso machines. They only have 2 sorts though, but you can buy them online, or at your local Oxfam shop.
foxfox123asked
where do you buy the nespreso pods and where in australia sydney is the nespresso shop because i hate ordering them online?
